Most amazing relaxing hotel situated in a luxurious area. Pool side bar is great with refreshing slushies and a great restaurant. Would always recommend especially if you’re a golfer

Simply fantastic hotel where we had a pleasure to celebrate our wedding. We have come back there 3 years later and were happy to see that the hotel has not only survived the pandemic, but has got better! Design in details, great service, great food, extremely well kept golf courts! Definitely a place to come back over and over again to enjoy a weekend!

We had a lovely time here, but a 5 star resort it isn't. Staff are great and the lobby looks the part. Breakfast was excellent and catered for all, from green juices and egg white omelettes, fry up, waffles, fruit, yoghurts.. I could go on. There are plenty of places to eat and we found Flute Bar, a short walk from the Hotel, to offer excellent bar snacks & very reasonable drinks. The rooms are spacious but tired. In 2022 you expect USB points. The shower is suitable for those under 5ft 8 and scalding was par for the course as fluctuations in shower temperature left you leaping in and out. I also expected our balcony to be as clean as our room. There wasn't a spa but I was able to book a facial as they had converted a room for beauty treatments. It was bliss. In all, nothing would put me off going back just not 5 star but on the back of a pandemic they have done well it keep it running as smoothly as it does.

To start this review positively ; the setting of the hotel and the surrounding golf courses are wonderful. The parking lot in front of the hotel is practical. However, the hotel interior and the rooms are in need of extensive refurbishment, it is a bit outdated. The carpets in the hallway and room are filthy and smell badly. For a 5* hotel, the services were a kind of poor. We had to search for our room and bring our luggage ourselves - in the piano bar, we had to clean up the table and order at the bar (although there were 3 waiters) - Covid rules were not fully respected. Breakfast was OK but the tables looked a bit "cheerless". In short, for a 5* hotel, it just wasn't good enough which is regrettable at +160,00 eur/night.

Not a 5* hotel. There was some good things (big rooms, views, staff presence and usual friendliness) However I will list some of the bad things that outweigh the good - carpets were extremely outdated, as were rooms in general - our room was a good 5 minute walk from the lobby- and to not have anyone even offer to help with luggage was surprising - the hotels exterior has various water features but I noticed they only turned on the water at the weekend when it was busier - tap seal was broken meant first time tap turned on water splashed in my face. Other friends in rooms had to request to move rooms due to plumbing issues and smell of damp - Pool temperature was so cold no one ever went in. Strange that a 5* hotel didn't do anything to rectify this - there's no hotel bar. Just 3 restaurants and 1 has a bar in it. We purchased different cocktails and each of us agreed there was no alcohol in them, so not sure if this was poorly trained staff or a scam - the pool bar soft drinks from the bar tap tasted off - something of importance went missing in a friend's room and the customer service they showed to try and resolve was not at the level required. Not that we are blaming the cleaners but there was a lack of accountability from the hotel and promises were not kept to advance the situation If you are a golfer then you probably can look past this as the courses look great. For anyone else I recommend you don't stay here as there's surely better places in the area for value for money.
