A truly awesome few days spent here. It was a surprise visit for my birthday. Everything was first class. The grounds were incredible and somewhere to totally relax. If you can't get to Thailand, I would strongly suggest a visit here. I would happily return at ANY time to this oasis of calm!

Really nice hotel, we went in March, which was out of season for them, meaning that a lot of facilities were shut down, the evening buffet, for example (though they did a breakfast buffet).
There were restaurants that opened in rotation, and it wasn't well explained how to find out which and when, but I did work it out. We also received numerous terms and conditions messages telling us we were half board, when we were in fact bed and breakfast only.
The food was amazing, the staff were lovely, the room was clean and spacious, there were two heated pools, so we could swim even though the weather wasn't great.
The hotel is pretty remote. No local shops. It is a luxury resort, so the hotel has you captive there, and they know it, pricing accordingly.

I was there for a spa weekend and massages.i have to say it's located in a great piece of land, facilities are unique and worth trip here. Really a place where you can rest. The massages where also fine. And the pool and relaxing zone was fantastic. I will probably be back.

The hotel and gardens are beautiful. The only big let down was that there was only one “restaurant” open. The 5 others listed on their site are closed during low season. The only one they had open was a conference room with a bar and a projector playing a football match with some pop music playing also, was a strange experience and out of context with the rest of the hotel The food was very average, at a high price.

This is branded as a 5 star hotel with astronomical prices but it is at most a 3 star + experience with a good Thai Massage Spa option that cost extra and the spa can only be accessed with an hour or massage booking with a little indoor poor and a small Turkish steam bath. Very underwhelming.
The service is absolutely horrendous and the staff lack any knowledge of food or drinks. The in-house Bar is a conference room with a football game projector and loosely spread around tables. 0 decorations or atmosphere. The staff there has 0 knowledge or interest in what they are offering you to drink so if you pick a cocktail it's a gamble.
The food: the Asian restaurant is a mix of Indian , Thai and Vietnamese. Taste is ok but nothing out of the ordinary and lacks depth and flavour. But it is what you expect from a Hotel Restaurant. Your better of taking a 5 min Taxi to Benidorm and enjoy the culinary experiences there.
Rooms where clean and with beautiful views to the botanical scenery.
What stands out here as a highlight is the botanical park that makes you forget your in Spain and transports you to south east Asia with it's vast variety of exotic plants , ponds and pools that are also heated all year around.
But unfortunately it is a tourist trap and the 5 stars of the hotel should be taking with a grain of salt.
