Our stay at Gran Castillo Tagoro Family & Fun was absolutely fantastic! The resort is ideal for families, with so much to do for both kids and adults. The kids’ club was a real lifesaver—offering sessions from 11am-1pm and 3pm-5pm each day, it gave us the perfect opportunity to relax in the adults only areas while our little ones were having a blast.
A special shout-out to Isabel from the kids’ entertainment team, who made our daughters, Evie and Isla, feel so welcome and ensured they had so much fun. Also a shout out to Gabriel, a wonderfully friendly and helpful waiter in the main buffet area who always had a smile on his face. The whole team truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
The Merlin room is a great option for families with little ones, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly.

From the minute we arrived, we were looked after so well. This is our second stay at the hotel and we will be back again in July 2025.
The selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic. Every night was a different theme for dinner.
We particularly enjoyed the oriental and Mexican night. I was able get gluten free fish fingers, breaded chicken, pasta, pizza and chips for my son who is coeliac.
The staff in the restaurant were always polite and super efficient at clearing the tables. My two kids aged 4 and 6 loved the mini club every morning and afternoon. The kids club is very popular with families so ensure you book the slots 2 days in advance to avoid disappointment.
The kids disco every night at 8:30 is a big hit with the kids. Well done to the animation team who always put on a great show. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

We have been to Gran Castillo 4 times and this last visit was as brilliant as the rest. We look forward to our February half term holiday here and wouldn't go anywhere else. The food is great, pools are lovely and heated, rooms are huge with great bathrooms and power showers and the location is perfect for us. The entertainment team is very hardworking and the shows they put on are very entertaining, esoecially the king Jester show tonight. Looking forward to next year!

The hotel is awesome and had a wonderful Christmas and New year holiday. The entertainment team was absolutely the best I have seen. The children were well entertained and had activites galore. The mini discos every evening were awesome.Dante was an absolute delight and made us very welcome thank you Dante! Best animation team ever.
The food, drinks and rooms were perfect.

It's clean and tidy, but it's not the place to go if you need some chill time. The food was excellent in the main restaurant, with plenty of choice on offer. In fact, I would give it 5 stars. It's great for foodies. Beware, though, you can put on a few pounds.
The room we had again was clean and maintained, apart from a noisy ceiling fan. You can hear toilet flushing and other night-time activities from the adjacent rooms!
Housekeeping first class.
All in all, the hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were polite and helpful. However, the outside bar served food that wasn't very good, with poor choice, and it always seemed cold and not very tasty.
Signage & directions, as it is a large complex, could be more helpful and need improving.
It's a suitable choice for a family holiday, but seniors seeking relaxation may want to consider other options.
