Lovely place - spotlessly clean - Alijandro and Team couldn't be more accommodating. Food was fresh, varied and plenty of it. Not a top end luxury hotel but can't fault it and just had a fabulous 2 weeks there despite poor March weather. Can't wait to go back. Bus stop right outside, train station couple of hundred yards away and an endless prom with countless bars, cafe's shops and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at Globales Gardenia this past week. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help. They all smiled and chatted to our 2 year old son, who also seemed to really enjoy his stay. The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff did a great job of keeping the dining area clean throughout the day. We were very impressed with the staff and the hotel.

This hotel gets all five stars for me. It was the perfect location, where you walk out the back exit onto the beachfront.
Food was above average, we stayed all inclusive and we never went hungry, there was options for everyone such as: salad bar, fresh fruit and veg, meat, pasta, different meals inclusive to the day, a griddle where you can ask the chef to cook whichever fresh meats were on that day and so much more.
The alcohol drinks included in all inclusive were 6 cocktail choices, vodka, rum, whiskey, and various others.
The soft drinks were Pepsi max and normal Pepsi, orange and lemon “fanta”, sprite, and ice tea. Tea, coffee and various fruit juices were also available.
For entertainment, they had a schedule fully filled with games throughout the day, such as, French boules, mini golf, shuffleboard, darts, ping pong, shooting and archery. These were so fun and popular with the other guests, I’m in my 20s and we said no at first but by the second day we were loving the games and the competition with them there people.
The staff were beyond lovely, everyone was so welcoming and you can truly tell they love their jobs, George, Lola and their colleague doing the games and entertainment sealed the deal for me, they will be the reason we will return at any chance we get.
The location is around 7 minutes from the town centre on the bus (€1.20 per person) and taxi is around €6. You have plenty of shops and restaurants next to the hotel so we didn’t tend to go into town too much. The beaches are lovely, and our room has the perfect view of the seafront.
We stayed in SEPTEMBER 2024 and we had no problems with the busy times or sun bed availability, the pool was clean and there are multiple bars open for guests.
All in all, a great stay and we have already booked for next year ☀️

this hotel is in a lovely area, almost touching distance with the sea with an array of options regarding beaches, restaurants and bars. when we arrived, we were told the room was not ready (we arrived one hour before check in so was expected). however, when it reached 2pm we were still delayed and took another 45 mins to get the room. there is a room to put suitcases etc but still had to carry around bags and other belongings. the hotel itself is majorly occupied by spanish people (we are in spain it makes sense) and a spanish only entertainment on the nights meant we could not participate. the spanish people were lovely, including the cleaning staff who were helpful.
however, there are many flaws to the hotel too. the foods on display at the restaurant are limited, very basic buffet food and usually lukewarm or cold. if you’re not all inclusive, you are forced to pay for any drinks you have bar water, which is a bit bizarre if you ask me but anyway and staff were rude about taking the payment, storming up to your table and waving a machine in your face until you paid, just making it an unpleasant experience at dinners sometimes. it was not like we was not going to pay, but there are better ways of going about it. if you’re looking for a safety box, buckle up, as there is a €10 deposit, which is okay right? wrong, there is also a €10.50 charge PER DAY unrefundable for the safe pleasure of mind that our belongings were not in danger, forcing a feeling of being on edge at times. based on experience at other hotels, this is way higher than we have ever paid, max being €15 for the entire stay. also, there is a lack of plug sockets within the room and are on the other side to the bed and one in the bathroom, meaning charging devices etc and having them near the bed is impossible and inconvenient. overall, it’s great for being close to the beach and location, and having a nice view, but staff can be uncaring at times and feels as if the spanish are treated better, whilst other tourists were pushed aside at times. overall, there is potential for a lovely hotel with the location, and this could have only been our experience, but if you’re looking for an easy beach hotel then knock yourself out, but if you want entertainment, a safety box without paying a mortgage, and a decent quality of food for lunches and dinners (breakfast was good), then you may be better off for another hotel. 3/5

This hotel is excellent in my opinion definitely 4 star standard.
Staff were helpful, attentive and polite.
Our room was spotlessly cleaned everyday as was the entire hotel.
Food was excellent particularly the live cooking stations, although could be a little repeatative at times especially the snack bar which had the same choice everyday.
Evening entertainment was first class the hotel even hired in some external acts who were great in particular the male singing trio who were fantastic.
The location is great near enough to get to everything but just away enough to get a peaceful night sleep in the very comfortable beds.
My only very light criticism would be that 35 euros for a safe for the week seemed expensive and a fridge in room would be nice, think hotel would benefit from considering including these.
All in all a great stay highly recommended and definitely would return.
