Generally, good value for money as discovered on a stay with a friend.
We paid an equivalent price for an inclusive package holiday with easyJet as for a bed and breakfast elsewhere
We arrived at the hotel at 2am, dropped our suitcases to find out they've got a buffet open for new arrivals, which was brilliant.
From start to end, we were satisfied with our experience, notably the buffet. As two cyclists, our appetites are greater than a pack of hungry wolves, and we were both delighted to discover a wide variety of food in all services. There's a lot of vegetarian options too.
The service at tables exceeds expectations.
Only con I would say are the rooms which look very out of date comparing to the rest of the facilities available at the hotel.
And the lack of charging points for phones was a negative.
But there is the possibility of disconnecting the tv in order to charge your phone. Nothing that can't be done.
Good value for money, definitely will return just for the food!

It's a 3* hotel so don't expect anything more and you'll be fine!
Seriously though, the food was fine - 3 out of 4 nights there was something I liked (I don't like fish so it makes things a little more restrictive!).
Pool was fine, yes it was small but big enough baring in mind we went out of peak season in October. We were able to get sun loungers with no problem.
Lifts weren't too much of a bother.
Rooms were very dated but very clean!
Didn't have much interaction with the staff but those I did were very nice.
Would I return, probably not, but that's probably because I'm a slight snob and like a little luxury when I have a holiday...
We paid £300 A/I (incl flights!) For 4 nights, which was an absolute bargain.

Hotel Globales has a pleasant reception area and easy check-in. Although, it would have been nice to be told about the room tax we had to pay on arrival, £15 per person. You are able to pay in pounds or euros. The hotel room itself was spacious and clean. We were a party of 3, with a single bed and a double. However the single bed, was literally placed right inside the door as you walked in. We moved things around to accommodate as it felt like you were sleeping in a tight corridor. The food was good, plenty to go around so you would never go hungry, but pork, chicken and veal becomes boring every day. All inclusive drinks were kept to 2 per person which kindof takes away the all inclusive status, and likewise with the snacks, which stopped at evening meal time! The entertainment team were fantastic, Ivan is a real character. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk from the beach which is fantastic, and plenty of shops, and dining places to choose from. Going back to the hotel, the biggest flaw is the lift. 2 broom cupboard sized lifts for a hotel with over 200+ rooms over 9 floor, and holds 3-4 adults at any one time, any more than that and it won't move. Also with only one bar open, made getting drinks etc an issue, maybe one other bar could be open all year?? Overall, we all had a great time at Globales Condes de Alcudia.

Ideal spot in Alcudia as close to all aspects we were interested in. . Short walk to beach, mariner, local bars and restaurants. 15 minute walk to old town too. All inclusive food was excellent with good choice and wines on tap. Limited cocktail choice at bar and ran out of some drinks as end of season but alternative choice always available. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. All staff really friendly. Overall great deal and would use hotel again. 🌞😎🍾🍹🍷🍺 Happy days.

Currently on my last day here of a four night break and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re thinking of booking a stay.
Yes, the pool is quite small, but it’s perfectly adequate - might be on the small side for peak weeks, but given guests rarely do laps of the pool and use it to cool off, it’s absolutely fine.
The food has been good too. Again, I’ve been to other places that have had a larger selection, but that was reflected in the price I paid for those holidays. Several meat and fish options and plenty of salads etc. The snack bar at the pool has pizza, burgers, hot dogs, chips, salad, cakes and ice cream right up til they serve dinner and these are frequently topped up and we’re great when you didn’t fancy the restaurant for lunch.
The drinks were great - I know people always complain things are watered down in all inclusive hotels, but that definitely didn’t seem the case. (I drink enough to know 😂).
I’d suggest opting for the deluxe rooms as they really weren’t a big jump price wise and they were really clean and had everything you needed. Nice large balconies too.
The entire hotel was clean throughout. You need to request changes of linen or towels but, personally, I prefer that as there is no need for the housekeeping to change over rooms daily like they used to.
Safe is charged per day which I’d prefer was complimentary given most guests are likely to bring passports, but this hotel aren’t alone in charging for it AND I don’t think you can really complain about value for money here so I’ll always pay to use the safe as it’s just sensible. Around €35 for a week with a €10 refundable deposit. You’ll also need to bring a beach towel as they don’t provide them. Again, not a big issue as most guests have their own.
But the biggest positive about this hotel is the staff. They are all so friendly and polite. Not once did I see a grumpy face which I’ve seen plenty at other resorts across Europe. They work hard but every single person from from the guy and night porter who checked us in at midnight, the animation team who (politely) invited all guests to take part in activities throughout the day and at night, the lifeguard who was helping people in and out the pool if they needed it, to the wait and bar staff who couldn’t have done more. They are all a credit to the hotel.
