First time staying here. Very impressed with all the facilities. Didn't realise we came before the season started but everything is opening up. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Entertainment team are amazing especially Ray & Ata! Always happy to help. Mini disco was perfect for little ones. Looking to book again ❤️

Hi,
When we initially made our reservation, we were booked into a different set of 5-star hotels. However, our booking was later changed, and we were assigned to the Eftalia Aqua Resort. We were informed that this was a 5-star property, although the website clearly lists it as a 4-star hotel. Despite this discrepancy, I do not believe it can be considered a 2-star hotel.
Upon arrival, the ambiance was unsettling, as the lighting was so dim that it felt as though we had entered a cave. The reception staff was not welcoming, and the service left much to be desired. The room we were provided was completely different from what we had originally booked. We had to approach the reception four times to address issues, particularly regarding a malfunctioning key card that failed to open our room.
The quality of the food was disappointing as well, with the meals being served cold and lacking variety. Overall, the experience has been far below expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I advise caution—do not rely on their rating of 4 or 5 stars, as it does not reflect the true quality of the hotel standard. Unfortunately, this has been an exhausting first night, and we are not pleased with the overall experience.
If anyone from the management team is monitoring reviews, I hope this feedback will be taken seriously.
Regards,
Sid

Just come back from a 10 night holiday, booked online and stayed at Eftalia Aqua. On arrival the Lobby is impressive but this is all for show. The rooms are dated. The hotel is not five stars, the service is definitely not five stars. It may have been five stars when it opened but hasn’t been reviewed since. We stayed in room 4040, house keeping didn’t clean the room for three days, despite complaining. Corridor carpets dirty, the room itself was big but very dated, plaster peeling, side of bath falling off. Had a few words for the house keeping lady when she insisted on a tip on our last day! Very shameful. I don’t mind giving a tip, if you do your job.
The food was very very poor, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. We would have lunch on the island, which was good. Dinner at Big Ben Pub. The so called 24hr snack bar, burgers cooked in a batch and left in a hot tub, chicken nuggets that taste like cheese. The evening food was very disappointing, same with the breakfast. The sausages for breakfast were highly processed meats, red in colour, like red brick. They have a lot of things on display, no labels to help. They have a guy making fresh orange juice for breakfast, but then charges 1 euro, why? Just allow the guests a little luxury and something healthy.
Location is not great either, far from anywhere. Takes around 30 mins by bus to Alanya, where it seems is where all the good food establishments reside. I wouldn’t recommend Eftalia Aqua Resort.

We stayed here for 10 days and the hotel itself was lovely and clean. Service was great from everyone there, great with kids and helped out when they could. Our room was cleaner every two days with fresh bedding and towels and refreshments. There is lots of food to choose from (just be careful on what you eat) the beach on the island is great. Alanya town is worth a visit too loads to do there for everyone. However something to definitely consider is if you do end up with a server sickness bug or just need need treatment for anything (like my partner and 2 year old daughter) the hospitals are good and will see you straight away, however when it’s time for you to go back to the hotel they start demanding money and they say the insurance won’t pay even when you have contacted the insurance directly. The hospital will refuse to send the insurance a medical receipt this is the reason insurances can’t pay! They demand cash for you to leave, they left my partner and daughter with a cannula in and said they will not be removed unless we pay, we was threatened with police if we left the building and they won’t even give you a drink of water. They were asking for £3500 for anti sickness through a drip. When we finally got this sorted the doctor said the sickness can be from the pools in the hotel not been cleaned properly(not enough chlorine) and also if someone has coughed on food or not washed there hands properly and we are eating the food we can end up ill from it.
