A great, relaxing two week stay at the Continental Hotel!
We had a very nice and comfortable room with a stunning sea view. The hotel has beautiful and well-kept green areas, a big pool, and a very nice and safe beach with enough space for everyone. The cleaning staff do a great job in the rooms and common areas. All the employees are very friendly and helpful.
My friend and I had lots of fun participating in the daily activities organised by Line, Serag, and the entire friendly and enthusiastic animation team.
We also enjoyed the variety of fresh and tasty food offered as part of our all-inclusive package, with a different theme every day.
We are considering coming here again, and will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends.

The hotel is located in the heart of Hurghada, by the sea. It is an impressive building with a nice layout and typical decoration of marble and brass. It is not a new complex and you can find evidence of that in your bedroom where, behind the shining surfaces, are cracked corners and worn down fixings. It is however clean and welcome. In the complex you have sauna, spa, water sports, shops, restaurants and bars. During the winter months the massive pool is heated and you can enjoy a nice chiiled time by the pool. If you prefer the see, it is there for you as well. The food was decent with many options to choose from. The staff is polite and helpful.

UPDATE: I WAS NOT THERE AS A TOUR OPERATOR! I don't know if you don't care about criticism and haven't even informed yourself about the incident or if you got this lie from the security man.
I didn't want to pick anyone up from the hotel or be let in because of this, please inform yourself first before you talk about safety here.
If I had claimed that evening that I wanted to go to the club "B2" which is on their premises, then I would have gotten in.
And the fact that they stand by a security man who insults other people for NO reason shows that you don't have their employees under control.
I have been living near the Continental Hotel for 2 years, I have always been delighted and have recommended the hotel to everyone. My family, my friends and also our guests from our company. Even I myself was always a guest at the hotel, but after today that is over. I have never been treated as disrespectfully as by the security man "badry". We tried to explain the situation to him several times and he just thought it was funny that we didn't fit in, even though several hotel employees explained to him the situation.
He really laughed and smiled, to show us we aren’t important.
No matter how nice the rooms are, the food etc. if you don't have your staff under control then none of this will help.
I will not continue to support such behavior and will advise our guests and my family to cancel their bookings if there are no consequences.
The photos with the view from the balconies, just so no one can claim that we were never there, you can see that these are different vacations.

An old but well-maintained hotel. The buildings and overall architecture are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the view from terrace is stunning. The large, clean, and well-maintained pool is great. The sandy beach is particularly beautiful, with an excellent entry into the sea, no coral, a gentle slope and a suitable depth – a rarity and a big advantage of this hotel. Also, the early opening of the towel service at 7 AM allows for an early arrival to the beach. The food is ok, organized as a buffet with self-service, and there's always something to find, even for those with special dietary needs. The several bars, by the pool and on the beach, are excellent. The staff is very friendly. The animators try to give a best, so it's never boring. Security is high; the hotel complex is covered by cameras, and the police can often be seen patrolling in front of hotel building. Hotel is covered by fast internet even on the beach.
The only problem, for which I give 4 stars, is the early occupation of sunbeds. Although the hotel has more sunbeds and places on the beach and poolside than guests, early in the morning, positions are taken up with towels, which spoils the feeling of relaxation and puts early risers at an unfair disadvantage because when they arrive at the beach at, for example, 7:30 AM, half of the sunbeds are already occupied. I think the hotel management could easily solve this and avoid often argue between guests.
Overall, the hotel is excellent and I recommend it.

Small, clean resort, very beautiful garden and beach, spacious, clean rooms. Very good food, impeccable service, smiling, kind staff, always joking with you. The best entertainment team, especially Bedo, a guy full of energy, enthusiasm, communicative and joking. Bedo, don't forget the words in Hungarian!
As a tip, stop cutting bracelets for those who have a late flight, it's too bad to lose customers. It's a very nice resort, with exceptional staff. Thanks for everything.
