Great resort, staff very helpful and kind. The team made sure we got the best price for excursions. Food was good. Drinks good. Even got to chat to the manager who wandered around in the evening. Check guests were okay! Rooms clean.

The only stars goes to the service and mostly the location (beach) apart from that I have to say, the whole concept of the caves is really depressing. Either you love it or you hate it and I felt awful around there. The rooms are completely unfriendly laying in your bed with the eagle ceiling. Was there in February and I got fever because it was freezing cold. I booked a package of massages and also had to stop it because even in the spa was freezing cold. The food was absolutely terrible. Meat and white bread it’s what they most they offered. There was variety of desserts that look very attractive and different, but tasted the same, awful taste. The outside area was kind of nice with the pools. It would be nicer if the music is not sold out.

The entertainment team at Caves Hotel is absolutely unbelievable—they are the heart and soul of the experience. From the moment we arrived, they were full of energy, incredibly entertaining, and went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and included. They are not only talented but also genuinely friendly and wholesome, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere that made the stay so enjoyable. Their interactive approach ensured that both adults and children had an amazing time, with plenty of laughter and memorable moments throughout our visit.
As someone who is a very fussy eater, I was concerned about finding suitable food, but I was blown away by the variety and quality of the dishes. Every meal was not only delicious but thoughtfully prepared to cater to all tastes. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, and the dining experience was just as perfect as the entertainment.
The entire experience was flawless from start to finish. The attention to detail, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel exceeded all my expectations. It’s a place where every moment feels special, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a stress-free getaway with outstanding entertainment, fantastic food, and warm hospitality, Caves Hotel is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

I could write an essay on our experience, but I'll keep it brief. We had a good time because you’ve got to make the most of it, but you’d have to pay me to go back.
This is not a 5-star resort—4 at a push for some amenities but more like a 3 by UK standards. It's a case of "it’ll do" when it comes to maintenance.
Facilities: Pool tables are knackered, cues are bent, cloth is worn, and one table is cracked. Public furniture is tired—ripped, chipped, and tatty. Rooms have seen better days— bed curtains held up with staples, exposed wiring, exposed fibreglass repairs, and an access hatch almost falling out. Very clean, but scruffy.
Clientele: A mix of social classes. Russians drink and talk loudly all day domineering all areas, Brits range from older folks looking to relax to Benidorm types—tanned, drunk, and donning schneidy designer gear. Other guests from Lithuania, Scotland, and Holland were nice. Overall, some of the mix gives a budget feel.
Beach: First morning, we saw camels and horses being ridden into the sea… and clearing their bowels in it. This happened 4 times over two hours. That, plus cigarette butts and trash, meant we didn’t fancy a swimming with doodoo.
Food: Buffet is OK but repetitive—hence the long queue for chips at 7pm. Desserts all taste the same. The grill out front and salad bar are decent. A la carte options are a joke—tiny capacity, long booking queues turn up at 10.30 and stand for an hour to make sure you get booked in, and poor food except for the teppenyaki. If you enjoy proper home-cooked meals or good restaurants, you’ll think it’s awful. If you live on microwave meals and takeaways, you might enjoy it. Pebbles Beach Bar is fine, but don’t trust the menu—sandwiches and burgers only come with lettuce and mayo but the pizzas are ok.
Positives: The staff (except for Tofy the photographer, who made racist chicken nugget comments) are great, really are. Some great people—big up the shisha shop guy, but avoid the overpriced grocery store, they make up prices on the spot and it's more expensive than the airport! Weather was lovely, beer was good, shisha bar worker was great (though tobacco quality was 5/10), and the stray cats were friendly. Plenty to do but overall run down and whilst some facilities were great others were terrible, which is why it barely scrapes a 4-star rating.
We made the best of it by embracing the ridiculousness lol

This is such an innovative Holiday resort in Hurghada. The whole place is designed as a collection of rocky caves on the edge of the Red Sea. The rooms are amazing and it really lives up to it's name. Superb pools and bars. Great staff and a wide range of foods. Somewhere really different and not catering for families with children. Evening entertainments range from fire shows, group activity, juggling, belly dancing and karaoke. Highly recommended.
