Disappointing Service Despite Decent Facilities and Food
By European standards, this is a 3/4-star hotel — 3 for the rooms and 4 for the entrance and pool area.
Our first interactions were the most disappointing. At check-in, the receptionist, John, hinted at tips to give us better rooms, sea views, or to keep all three rooms on the same floor. We were told that a sea view room would cost $50 per day—even though the same upgrade would’ve cost only $47 for the entire week if booked in advance. When we declined, he claimed the Wi-Fi would only work “in 10 minutes” — clearly out of spite.
The rooms and all the hallways except the main entry smelled like cigarettes and drain, and one of the 3 rooms we booked had two single beds instead of the double we booked. The beds had dirty, unchanged sheets, with stains and hair. (but the bed was tucked just like it was new) We had to return to reception 2 times, with no apologies and long wait times — this was around 11 PM after a full travel day. They were not shocked at all, it was clear that this is not a first time.
A staff member insisted on carrying our luggage, and despite our polite refusal to tip due to the poor reception experience, he waited in the hallway, then reminded us three times at checkout that we hadn’t paid him.
On the bright side, the food was varied and quite nice, and most of the people working in the restaurant and pool area were helpful. Just be aware: if you expect service that would be standard elsewhere, you’ll likely be expected to pay a few dollars extra per day.
Wouldn’t return. The facilities and food don’t make up for the poor front-desk experience and the constant pressure for tips.

Amazing hotel, with staff that can't do enough for you. Great animation team, shisha team and bar staff. We have been back 3 times and will continue to return. Very good value for money and good facilities. For an all inclusive hotel the food and drinks are excellent with a very entertaining show every night. The room we have this time with a jacuzzi has a lovely design and all brand new. All round the hotel is impeccable and I will be returning for many years to come. I recommend this to everyone.

I really recommend the hotel. The animation is amazing - full of energy and always making sure everyone had a great time. Their positive vibes made everyday unforgettable! The food is very delicious (fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented).
Highly highly recommend!

Hotel is exceptional, I will definitely return. Family friendly everyone loves children they get special treatment. Kids club was being renovated, can’t wait to return once completed.
Entertainment staff are top tier, when on nights out they fully look after you. They don’t allow anyone to approach you whilst in the club. They even accompany you to the rest rooms for extra safety.
Too much restaurants to choose from, 24 hour food available.
Overall I can’t say anything bad, excellent service.

Had a fantastic stay at Bellagio Resort & Spa! The value for the price is amazing – you get so much included. There are plenty of activities going on throughout the day, usually starting between 10 AM and 10 PM, so there’s always something to do. The resort has several restaurants, including buffet options with some rotating dishes to keep things interesting.
It’s located close to a general store, which is super convenient, and it has its own beach with a kitesurfing school right there – such a cool bonus. Sometimes there’s even street food available, all included in the price!
The rooms are spacious and always kept clean, although there are some minor issues with detailing. Still, nothing that would spoil the experience. The service is great – everyone is very friendly and helpful.
The heart of the resort is the large heated pool, and most of the action happens around it. It really brings everyone together and gives the place a lively, fun vibe. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and activity-filled getaway.
