We booked Alua Leo because we were only going for a 5 night break and it was close to the airport. We were very impressed with the helpful, friendly staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. We booked a pool view room and were over the moon with the room we received (351) we had a Seaview too. We were bed & breakfast and the choice was brilliant. The Access through the gate at the back of the hotel meant that the seafront was about 100m away. The hotel is also on the main bus route into Palma. We bought quite a few cocktails from the bar and they were lovely and very strong. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location 5 mins from the airport. We stayed half board.
Breakfast was good & If the que wasn't too long, the omelette was a great option. The black teabags are very weak.
The dining room is too s all as most guests had breakfast, meaning some days people had to wait a long time for a table as some people seemed to take a long time over this meal....... We didn't! !
Dinner was often disappointing, as the hot food was cold.
And the Ice cream was almost fully melted most, not great.
The cheese biscuits were a little on the chunky side. Though there's was always a fab selection of cheeses.
However, the staff are fabulous thats the reason we keep coming back!
Ps. The bike room is fab.

I honestly can’t understand how this hotel holds a four-star rating. Well then – let’s start from the beginning.
Arrival:
I arrived by car, but there’s no proper place to stop briefly and unload your luggage. The lobby looks renovated and bright, and check-in was quick and straightforward. However, the elevator immediately set the tone – very small, old, and not exactly confidence-inspiring. Walking down the corridor to the room, you already get a sense of what’s waiting ahead: worn-out carpets, tired decor, and a general lack of upkeep.
Room:
When I opened the door, my first thought was, “Wow, that’s small.” On a closer look, the real issues became obvious – mold in the corners, dust and dirt, broken furniture, damaged curtains, and used towels. The overall condition was poor.
I actually wanted to leave right away but had to stay due to prior commitments. The night was terrible: the walls are paper-thin, and you can hear everything – neighbors snoring, children crying, hallway conversations, bottles being thrown out, and from 7 a.m. the cleaning staff vacuuming and moving furniture.
Restaurant:
The restaurant doesn’t offer any real vegan options, so I didn’t use it.
Service:
Apart from the friendly lady at check-in, the rest of the staff seemed distant and cold. No smiles, no sense of welcome. When I raised the issues mentioned above, there was little to no reaction – not even an apology. My impression is that these problems are well known but simply ignored, as the hotel appears focused on low-budget mass tourism.
I was offered a different room, but it turned out not to be available after all.
Conclusion:
I checked out early and moved to another hotel.
This property may officially carry four stars, but it neither provides the comfort nor the hospitality one would expect from that category. For me, it was a clear disappointment. If you care about cleanliness, quiet, and genuine service, I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

A lot of nice things about this hotel .one point to be aware of and the hotel could improve on is there is little room to put your clothes away .no draws etc .1 double wardrobe 3 shelves above a fridge and small shelf by the t.v .room is tidy, serviced well but more placers to put socks and undies etc is needed . Ho the meat and fish in the restraint is cooked in front of you as you roll up which means a wait . Staff are friendly . Parasols nearly every 2 sunbeds . Decent location also .

Our family stay here was exceptional! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, fulfilling every need with genuine care. They even surprised my wife with a birthday treat – truly unforgettable!
The location is unbeatable: directly across from the beach, with public transport steps away for easy exploring.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for families. The personalized attention made us feel like royalty.
Highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Mallorca – you won’t be disappointed!
