we absolutely loved our stay here.
The staff is so polite and accommodating. They let us to do a late check out too.
The rooms are cleaned and water and tea is restocked daily.
The food in the hotel is decent and most of it more affordable than food outside the hotel.
The private beach and pools are super clean with attentive staff and fresh towels, there really feels no need to go out of the hotel.
The location is good too, close to lots of eateries and a short cab ride away from Konyalti.
All in all, a perfect hotel and I hope to visit again someday.

Akra Hotel has a very ideal location with good restaurants and carrefour within walking distance and a 10-15 minutes drive to the old town. Super friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff, in particular the manager Mr Ahmet. The breakfast spread was outstanding with a wide variety of options. The only disappointment was that beach access was unavailable and this was not mentioned at the time of booking. The hotel advertised having 4-5 pools but only one was open and this was also not mentioned at the time of booking. Barring the issues mentioned above, it was a good experience.

Let me start by saying: I truly love Akra. I won't list all the things I enjoy about it, because there are many — and they're the reason I keep coming back. I'm writing this review not to criticize, but to highlight a few issues in the hope that they’ll be addressed, especially if other future guests experience the same.
1. Lack of clarity regarding extra guests in suites:
This has happened to me more than once. There seems to be confusion among the staff, and policies change depending on who you ask. It gives off the impression that decisions are being made on the spot, which makes guests feel uneasy — almost like you're being tricked. Last year, I was told that up to 3 people could stay in the suite and use the Chic Lounge without limitations. But when friends arrived, this became a problem. This year, once again, I got a different answer. A consistent and transparent policy would help a lot.
2. Excessive communication from staff:
We received 2–3 phone calls every single day, and today it reached a breaking point — the phone rang four times in one morning. I unplugged it, only to have the bathroom phone keep ringing. When I answered, it was simply someone asking, “Is everything okay?”
Unless I’ve specifically requested a wake-up call or assistance, I don’t think this is necessary — this is a hotel, not a wellness check service.
The same goes for room service: if no one answers the door, try again later or come in if authorized, but please don’t knock repeatedly. Some guests may appreciate frequent contact, but others (like myself) prefer a more minimal interaction. I believe recognizing this distinction should be part of excellent guest service.
3. Water pressure:
When paying for a suite above standard rates, you expect small but meaningful comforts — one of them being strong water pressure. It may sound minor, but it really impacts the overall experience.

The hotel is famous but I had a terrible experience
I came here for my honeymoon after my wedding and the treatment was terrible, they lost my car key and were not even aware that they lost my car key 14 hours later until I requested it.
They couldnt find it for 6 hours, they caused me stress.
The beds are short and the pillows are too high and uncomfortable.
Dont come here, spend your money somewhere else. The hotel is terribly managed.
