Good hotel in general. One of the better ones in the area it seems. Perfect for the kids too, with a great aqua park. 6 different attractrions and about 6 pools.
There was sometimes something wrong with the rooms, but the handymen came and fixed it quickly each time.
The food is also pretty good with lots of choices and different daily themes.
Also try the Oriental restaurant to learn about the local specialties.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, we travelled in February, and the weather was nice during the days but could get very chilly in the later afternoon/evening, but luckily 2 pools were heated so we were still able to enjoy ourselves. The restaurants are nice, and the food in the all inclusive is to a good quality. The only slightly disappointing part was the rooms, they’re quite outdated for a 5* hotel, and the TVs are not smart TVs. But the hotel is a few mins walk to the beach which is great!

The poolside bar, a refreshing and perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. They offer a variety of cool drinks, such as fruity cocktails and cold beverages. The service is quick and excellent, with staff eager to meet visitors' needs with speed and a smile. This bar is a great choice for those looking to enjoy a comfortable and fun atmosphere by the pool.

We have stayed at Steigenberger hotels before, including Aqua Magic and AlDaw, but unfortunately, we felt that the overall experience at this location has declined.
Positive Aspects:
One of the highlights of our stay was the front office team—especially Mr. Shady, Madonna, and Narden. Their professionalism and dedication were truly commendable. Initially, we were considering leaving, but their efforts convinced us to stay, ensuring a smooth and comfortable check-in experience.
Another positive aspect was the service from the bartenders and waiters. Mohamed and Ehab at the Lobby Bar, along with the waitstaff, were incredibly helpful, professional, and skilled. Additionally, the staff at the pool and beach areas provided excellent service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The housekeeping team, particularly Yousef, did a great job keeping our room spotless and well-maintained.
Areas for Improvement:
Unfortunately, the restaurant was the biggest disappointment of our stay. The food selection was extremely limited, and it was clear that the kitchen was operating on a very tight budget. During the first few days, the quality and variety of food were lacking, and while there was some improvement just before Eid, it was inconsistent.
One specific issue we faced was the unavailability of basic dietary options. We requested diet jam from the first day of our stay, but it was never provided. My wife also requires gluten-free options, and it was incredibly difficult to get any suitable food, despite our repeated requests.
Additionally, our experience with Chef Saeed in the main restaurant was quite disappointing. He appeared arrogant, unwilling to listen to guests, and dismissive of their requests. A more guest-friendly attitude would greatly improve the dining experience.
Final Thoughts:
While the hotel maintains a high level of cleanliness and some departments, such as the front office and bar service, excel in customer care, the overall experience could be improved. The restaurant, in particular, needs significant improvement, both in terms of food variety and staff attitude. We hope that management takes these concerns into account to restore the hotel’s previous standards.

Terrible Experience – Absolutely Not Recommended!
I had a very bad experience at this hotel and honestly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The staff was extremely rude and completely unhelpful. Although I had a confirmed booking via Booking.com at a fixed price, the hotel refused to give us the room unless we paid an additional €180. I was traveling with my child, while my two friends (both adults) had booked at the same price – yet only we were forced to pay more.
We spent four to five hours at the reception trying to resolve the situation, but the hotel insisted on this extra charge. No discount was offered – in fact, their demand was completely arbitrary, unfair, and totally unprofessional.
It was a deeply unpleasant experience. This hotel feels like a total scam. I strongly advise everyone to stay away. Never again!
