Cannot understand some of the negative reviews this hotel gets. We're just home from 10 nights in a premier sea view room and from start to finish, it was wonderful. The reception staff are friendly, charming and funny. The restaurant and bar staff are fantastic. Really helpful to everyone. Rooms were serviced to an impeccable standard every day. The hotel does get an older clientele, that are mainly Spanish but Newsflash, it's in Spain!!
The breakfast may not be totally to Northern European tastes but we found plenty to satisfy us.
The real winner for us was the room balcony/terrace. It was simply spectacular. Absolutely enormous (about 9m×9m at it's widest) with 3 sun loungers and a table with 3 chairs. We paid, on average, under €120 per night for this room and it's probably worth at least 3 times that amount.
I was actually afraid to write a review because I didn't want people to discover the best kept secret in Benidorm but it's only fair to give others a chance to experience what we did.
We'll go back again and again and will always look to stay in room 504.
Thank you, Hotel Marconi, for the best holiday ever.

The hotel is in a great location, if you can deal with a less than great service, but not a terrible one, this is a great place to stay at. Food was good, the hotel attracts an older crowd, but that just means less loud people at later hours of the day. I personally had an issue with the balcony railing being at eye level, but maybe because their chairs are low and I am not a very tall gentleman. If you go to this hotel, you go for the view in the morning, we had a sea-view, you can enjoy your morning coffee on thw balcony and look at the sea/beach. Ima and Xavi were the best from their staff.

This Hotel is in the beautiful Old part of Benidorm with great Sea views and the beach 20 yards away from the front door. Rooms are modern and adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. You also get a great breakfast, I would highly recommend this hotel 👌

Excellent value, we paid a premium for a sea view room and was treated to one of the best views in Benidorm.
We chose the half board option and the food at both breakfast and dinner was good and plentiful.
Staff are friendly and the property is kept very clean.
It is popular with the older Spanish clientel,
This is not an issue in anyway just an observation

The room actually did have comfy beds, and the hotel was very clean, (the cleaning staff were top!), and the location was lovely, which are the only positives I can say about this hotel. I attended with a friend to run Benidorm half marathon, which, having a good bed was actually a huge plus. However, the ‘food’ was largely inedible and made with the cheapest ingredients possible. The ‘buffet’ selection was tiny and no good for vegetarians, vegans, or in my case, people with allergies. The ‘restaurant’ was like being in a school canteen. No furnishings or personality, and VERY cold. The clientele were largely 70+ and it felt like a very cold retirement home. The view from our room was of a semi naked old fella opposite who we could’ve touched - the balconies were so close. The lifts were extremely small - I saw a lady struggle to fit herself and a buggy in. When I raised my concerns with the staff, they were extremely rude and unhelpful and basically told me to like it or lump it. I requested a partial refund due to the fact that they were unable/unwilling to provide me with any food, but I was told ‘your request is meaningless’ I therefore left an official complaint. I doubt I will ever hear anything from them, but I hope I can help someone else avoid being ripped off by this awful hotel.
