The location is fabulous, the view breathtaking. The hotel staff is excellent, the beach cafe ladies are brilliant, and the waiters are top-notch.
The big letdown is the food. Although you have a variety, most dishes were lukewarm. My only savior was the microwave oven. Oh, and the local cats are a pest at mealtimes.
For a solo traveler, my room was decent, and I always had plenty of hot water and towels.
Another disappointment was the daytime activities. They are extremely limited and not well run. Young children are allowed to use air rifles and bows and arrows with no consideration for safety. I consider this outrageous.
The swimming pools are too cold, and as an OAP, I could not use them. The sea was actually warmer.
Could I recommend this hotel? All I can say is I love the area, but I will not go back to the hotel.

We had an amazing family holiday at this hotel the Staff are second to none so friendly and very helpful make you feel very welcome, the location of the hotel is perfect.( picturesque.) we've been feeling very at one with nature. A wide variety of food available all throughout the day and night, which has been great and we have definitely made use of it, the private beach is a massive bonus, as is the coffee bar which is open till midnight. And a nice beach bar is available as well. Overall, we had a great time, and we would definitely return

We had a great time at Turunc hotel. We stayed for 10 days and we were looked after by all the amazing staff. My parents are elderly and have mobility problem and the staff went out of their way to make things easier for them by helping with taking their food to the table, getting drinks etc they required. Staff in the Citrus Patisserie particularly Berfin and Narin (waitresses) were caring and kind when serving afternoon tea. Busra (guest relations) was attentive and checked if everything was ok or needed anything to make our stay comfortable. She was very polite and friendly. Burak (restaurant manager) tended to our needs in the morning and lunchtime- his smiling face
made our days. There are so much choice of food and drinks which should appeal even to the most fussy food picker.
The views from the hotel are amazing - picture card scenery. The skies are so blue and the sea is calm. Hotel is secure and well lit.

Where to start?! The hotel itself is amazing. The rooms are clean, looked after, the staff are friendly and welcoming. This was our second year back and most of the staff from last year remembered us, which was great. There is a food option for everyone. The Turkish food is lush but if you fancy something else it’s there. 10 out of 10 for me and we will absolutely be back every year

We stayed here in September as a group of 4 people. Unfortunately, our experience was mostly negative.
❌ Cons:
• Rooms and Hotel Condition: The hotel is very old, and the rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. Cleaning service is not good.
• Food: The food was disappointing — fish and meat were cooked badly, meals were repeated every day, and the quality overall was poor. All four of us had stomach issues during the stay.
• Hygiene: There were a lot of flies and wasps, especially around the food, which was unpleasant.
• Alcohol: The quality of the drinks was very low and definitely not what you would expect from a 5-star resort.
• SPA Area: The massage was great, but the SPA pool and jacuzzi were very cold — not relaxing at all.
• Star Rating: In my opinion, this hotel is at best a 3-star, not a 5-star.
✅ Pros:
• Nature & Location: The beach, sea, pools, and surrounding nature are beautiful — that is the highlight of this place.
• SPA Staff: Special thanks to Boris from the SPA — very kind, explained everything, and made a great impression.
Overall Impression:
This hotel does not match the glowing reviews I read before coming. I have traveled to many countries and have something to compare with — I would personally rate this hotel no higher than 3★.
If you expect comfort, good food, and high-quality service, I would not recommend this place.
