It was a last-minute holiday, bought spontaneously. My sister called me and said, "Hey, we have to relax, I found an amazing place where you just can't not relax." She wasn't wrong—it's quiet and peaceful, the food is great, the views are stunning, and the water is warm and clear. The staff was friendly and polite, and we truly rested. I already know where I'll be my holiday in 2025... I highly recommend it to everyone!

They hosted us for four days on a school trip. While everything seemed clean and tidy in the room, the bathroom was riddled with rat dirt.
For four days, we had complaints every day, only to be told that it was from the pipes in the ceiling or from careless cleaning.
They superficially dealt with the matter without cleaning up the dirt all four days. For a four-star hotel, we had high expectations, especially in terms of cleanliness.

Anyone else got food poisoning? Seriously. We both had fevers over 38°C, and the hotel manager did not care. They gave me a dog blanket. This hotel has so many issues. Definitely NOT a 4* hotel. Where to start...
Update: I got blackmailed by the hotel manager via our delegate. They threatened that if I didn’t take this review down, they would have me arrested under Greek law for "defamation" – which wouldn’t hold up in the end, but they still promised that the police would take me into custody until the procurator could decide whether it was "defamation" or not. For this, I contacted the embassy, lawyers, etc., and although they confirmed this wouldn’t qualify as defamation, they also said that on Crete, it’s possible the police could cooperate with the hotel manager and have me "punished" for my negative review. Luckily, Greece, like many EU countries, has the amazing "free speech" principle rooted in their legal system.
OK, so let me continue with my review...
What is wrong with you? God damn it! Our vacation was ruined because we ate something really rotten at the hotel restaurant.
This never happens when we travel to Greece (10+ times). To be fair, we analyzed what food/drinks we had in common, and the only option is the hotel restaurant.
Which makes sense because, from day one, most of the meals offered were INEDIBLE. That wouldn’t have been such a problem if it hadn’t given us food poisoning.
Not only do they not care about their guests or provide the quality they promise, but they also don’t react when you politely mention problems. When I asked for an extra blanket at 1 AM because we both had fevers over 38°C, they first said I would have to wait until 7 AM. After I stood my ground, they brought me (after 20 minutes of waiting while I was ill) a DOG BLANKET (the brown thing in the photos, visibly dirty and damaged). I had to strongly refuse it, and after further waiting, I was given a real blanket (not the best, but technically a blanket). What a miracle in a 4 (lol) star hotel.
The rooms are SMALL, the hotel is noisy, and some rooms are more broken than others. The rules are unwelcoming.
So, guys, if you wish to stay in this part of Crete, do NOT choose this hotel.
Below, take a look at why I am sure the food poisoning came from the hotel restaurant:
We both didn’t eat anything else.
We haven’t had similar problems in years, even while staying in many foreign countries, including other Greek islands.
We could literally smell the hotel food when "getting it out of us" in the most unpleasant way.
The food seemed disgusting even before eating.
The cook is worse than me.
The hotel has many similar issues, so it fits the whole picture.
The attitude toward tourists is terrible.
Never in my life have I been blackmailed by a manager to take down a review. This is how you resolve problems? Sure, maybe the guest will take it down for a few days/weeks, but we can just add the review again when we’re no longer at your untrustworthy hotel. How about focusing on solving guest issues instead? As I said in the review, if you had contacted me directly to resolve this, I was open to it. Instead, you chose to blame us for "defamation."

I liked everything very much, the room was located overlooking the sea. The room was clean and comfortable. The reception desk was met by very nice and smiling girls. The entire staff was responsive throughout the entire stay, tables were cleared quickly and orders were fulfilled in a timely manner. I really liked everything and I advise you to come with children. If you have questions, the girls or managers will always help. Breakfast is repetitive, but despite this you can always diversify for yourself. Lunch and dinner always changes. Lots of fruits, different salads and desserts
