We both absolutely loved our stay here, the room was clean, spacious and comfy, we opted for a 'side sea view' and still had a beautiful view of the old windmills and the sunset over the sea each night. Every member of staff has been so accommodating and friendly.
LOCATION:
The hotel is roughly a 10-15 minute easy walk from the Old Town, 30 seconds from the beach, and it is on a road with plenty of shops and bars if you don't want to venture too far.
BREAKFAST:
One of the many highlights of our stay was the lovely lady who makes crepes and omelettes at breakfast, she was so friendly and welcoming, it made me feel like I was at home. The wonderful breakfast selection gave us both a fantastic start to the day.
DINNER:
The evening meal, buffet style, was a different theme each night - but the quality and flavour remained perfect. It is 2 minutes up the road at Petit Palais which wasn't a problem.
We wouldn't hesitate to book here again, Greece is such a beautiful country and there is so many historical sites worth visiting only a stones throw from the hotel.
Thank you for your hospitality!

Great hotel on the beach front. Located only 20 minutes walk from Rhodes centre/old town. The staff are polite, attentive, and very friendly. Had a couple issues with the room, which the staff quickly fixed with no further problems x
Breakfast served daily, and a mini fridge in the room. The lady who cooked the eggs and pancakes every morning is a superstar! X

A great hotel that is worth every penny. The quality of things being very high, and everything being super well maintained. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful - whenever we had the smallest of issues they were here with a helping hand. Not only was the whole stay itself great, but the food was also very delicious.

Well-appointed and well managed hotel, a warm welcome from friendly staff who cannot do enough for their guests. We are really enjoying our stay here so far. Great location for the beach and local attractions. Small but nice pool and sun terrace, good bar, and restaurant. Highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Mitsis La Vita (a four-star, half-board option) Located along the seafront in Rhodes Town, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Aegean, with the Turkish coastline visible in the distance. The location was ideal, with the beach just across the road, where you can hire a subbed to soak in the Greek sun. There is a small pool and sun area guests can use, but come 3pm, the sun is around the rear of the hotel, leaving the pool area in the shade. This is a six-story hotel, and curiously the elevators stop on the fifth floor meaning you have to walk up to the final floor to access it. There are two elevators in this hotel and two separate staircases.
The staff at reception provided us with a warm and efficient welcome upon our arrival at 10pm on a Saturday.
Our stay was on a half-board basis, meaning breakfast was available in the hotel itself, while the evening meals were served at the nearby Mitsis Petit Palais.
We stayed in room 306, which was on the balcony side of the hotel. Although the view was partially obstructed by neighbouring buildings and restaurants, we still enjoyed a glimpse of the sea. While the sea-view rooms offer spectacular direct views, they come without balconies, featuring sliding doors that open to a balustrade. Personally, we preferred having a balcony, as it provided a private space to relax, even if the view wasn’t as dramatic.
The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with gleaming marble floors throughout. The beds were comfortable singles that could easily be pushed together to form a double, with firm mattresses and pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. Everything was impeccably clean, including the crisp linens. The bedside tables provided adequate storage, and the large fitted wardrobe offered plenty of space for a few weeks’ worth of clothing. The room also featured a handy unit with a fridge, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a TV. While most channels were in Greek or German, we did have access to one English-language channel, BBC News.
The bathroom, also finished in marble, was a highlight with its powerful, invigorating shower. The complimentary toiletries are brilliant! Fresh towels were provided daily, and there was also the option to borrow beach towels from reception. The maids were attentive, ensuring the room was cleaned thoroughly each day.
Breakfast was served in the hotel’s main dining room, where a buffet offered a wide variety of choices. Depending on the time you arrived, it could get a little busy, but the selection more than made up for it. There were freshly baked breads, cold meats, eggs, sausages, bacon, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, honey, and plenty of tea and coffee. It was the perfect start to the day.
For dinner, we crossed over to the Mitsis Petit Palais, just a short walk from La Vita. There, the buffet offered a broad range of Greek and international dishes, both hot and cold. A particular favourite was the freshly made pizza, with a dedicated chef preparing new pizzas every few minutes. You could even request a custom pizza to be made to your liking. The food quality was excellent, and the staff provided impeccable service. Upon entering the restaurant, you were shown to your table and could order wine or beer to enjoy with your meal, with the option to either charge it to your room or pay at the end of the meal.
For those who wished to stay at the Petit Palais after dinner, there was entertainment in the bar area, running until 11pm, providing a relaxed and enjoyable way to end the evening.
Overall, the Mitsis La Vita and its neighbouring Petit Palais offered a delightful stay, combining comfort, quality service, and excellent dining options. The friendliness of the staff, coupled with the thoughtful amenities, made our time there truly enjoyable. The staff at both hotels are thoroughly professional and cannot do enough for you. Without hesitation, we would recommend any of the Mitsis hotels to friends and family looking for a memorable stay in Rhodes.
