My stay ended on Friday, but I already miss the hotel.
Let me start with the most important thing. A huge thank you and a big hug to each and every individual who is responsible for the operation of the hotel. The reception desk, the cleaning ladies, the cooks, the people responsible for cleaning the room where we eat, the people responsible for preparing the food, the bartenders, the entertainers, the cleaners at the pool.... It's hard for me to name each of you, but you are amazing. Your hard work is very well noticed.
It is super clean! There is really good food. Animation for adults is really interesting and varied. After the food is cleaned up quickly, so that you do not have to wait long for a free table. Glasses, plates everything is always there. Pool is clean, we also hit the replacement of deck chairs with new ones.
I spent a week at Evita Resort and
I am really very positively surprised! Thank you all again for such a wonderful week. There was nothing missing and I can not complain about anything

Stayed 20.04.24 to 26.04.24
Room very basic, mattress stained and just a sheet on top.
Maid service, basic quick clean & clean linens every other day. One day left with no towels and another with just big towels.
Stayed in block 3 and entertainment noise VERY loud until gone 11pm, then the cockerels and peacocks wake you up at dawn.
Food, nothing fancy pretty basic. Similar to what you would get at school in ways or presentation. Hot food left out with no heat lamps so went cold on display very quickly. Main restaurant needs expanding in food collection area as it gets rammed.
Hotel is clean and tidy it just needs more staff.
Reception is not easy to get to when you have cases and no assistance to get them to your rooms if in blocks 2-7 and no lifts. We arrived in the dark and no one helps you. Would be difficult for older people to navigate the steps with cases.
Overall not what l expected and would not look to stay here again.

Brilliant place to stay. Quite a large complex with multiple apartment blocks, each with three floors of rooms. No lifts are available.
The local area (walking distance) only offers a few cafes and restaurants. To visit shops and main towns you need to use public transport or rent a car.
Great evenings around the main bar with entertainment. Food on the buffet is great, wide selection for breakfast, dinner and evening meal.

Arrived at the resort on Sunday evening for a 7 day all inclusive stay at the private family rooms.
- first night, rooms were filled with ants, rubbish and other insects: including in the beds
- food is always stone cold and not properly cooked
- had personal belongings stolen twice!
- beach towels thrown in a dirty corner by other guests and covered in lipstick etc and staff uninterested
- have to order food from the local town as food inedible
- rooms are not ready for guests as workers installing water tanks etc on the building
- hot water turned off for hours without notice and cold water is brown
- workers throwing metal pipes off the building that nearly hit my mum in the head. No apology, worker just walked away and shouted something to someone on the roof in Greek
- had to request cleaning staff 4 times to clean rubbish from other guest under the beds etc
- no mattress covers on beds and mattress's have large brown stains on them
- entertainment is subpar and for children under 10 only
Only thing saving this holiday is the locals in the town close by, the location and wildlife. Only stay here if you are planning on spending your time outside the resort. Definitely not worth the thousands paid for the holiday!
*UPDATE*
Since the previous review above, the hotel has moved us rooms and provided free excursions and late check out as compensation.
New rooms are 1000% better than last rooms, are clean and insect free. Cleaning staff are friendly.
Food service has also gotten better with a wider range of food being provided which is improvement.
However, business' reply underneath is incorrect! We have picture confirmation of condition of rooms and to say we are trying to paint a dark view of the hotel is not correct. The water was turned off without warning and cold water was running brown. Workers did through pipes off the roof which was no more than a inches from hitting my mum in the head.
I have amended star rating to show the improvement but I still will not be returning for future stays.
If you are thinking of booking to stay here, please take the above into consideration and make your own decision.

I was seriously concerned by the negative reviews but in the end Evita Resort surprised me positively, so most of the complains are related to the excessive expectations of most of the guests. There are still a lot of room for improvements, but overall our stay was very pleasant.
Very nice, diverse meals. Breakfasts little boring, but lunches and dinners were great. At least two kinds of meats every day, fishes, even some sea food, great choice of vegetables and salads, nice soups, delicious desserts, decent wines and beer, choice of tea, good coffee. Snack bar with pizza and gyros pitas for some snack between the meals.
Nice pools, main one divided into two parts, with shallow water for children, medium pool with waterslides (unfortunately only 1 of 3 slides was active during our stay, but it was the very beginning of the season, so no hard feelings) and a small, round baby pool – all of them cleaned regularly and warm enough even at the beginning of May.
Overall professional and kind staff with communicative English. Only a grey hair guy at a main bar was grumpy and unpleasant. From the other hand a young bartender at Snack Bar was one of the nicest people ever! Good contact and problem solving – we had an issue with a toilet flush, I reported it to the reception desk and it has been solved in 20 minutes. Great job!
Rooms are decent, with comfy beds, clean enough. There are over thousand rooms, so I was not expecting they will be cleaned end to end every single day. If we needed more thorough cleaning we just asked nice ladies and they did great. Shared zones were little dirty, but it’s more a guests’ fault – if everyone would be able to put the plastic cup into the bin, that would be much more pleasant around. But most of the tourists expect that hotel staff will be at their beck and call, collecting their trash and even wipe their… you know 😉
Hotel location is lovely, it’s placed at the foot of a hill, surrounded by rocks and green plants with peacocks proudly walking around. It’s a shame that it’s so dirty. At the main route leading to the hotel there is a awful, stinky garbage dump, but I believe it’s rather a case for town authorities that the hotel management itself.
Beach is something about 800 meters away, Faliraki center about 2km. Everything is within walking distance. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel, you can reach Rodos city, Lindos or other interesting sites by bus. There’s also a car rental point in the hotel with great choice of cars and nice prices for those who want to travel around independently.
Among disadvantages there are two worth mentioning. Cocktails are very, very poor. Almost no alcohol and awfully sweet. If you don’t want to get diabetes and would like to feel at least a little alcohol impact, better stick to the wine. KidsClub has nothing attractive for kids – pile of old mattresses, old, dirty puzzles, a box of broken crayons and a load of paddles but with no balls. This little yard at the back of the KidsClub was full of trash at the beginning but get cleaned during our stay. But still, there was nothing interesting for kids there. Kids Disco was little too late, with music much too loud for small children, but at least there was something to attract the little ones. Adults animations was a cringe fest but it’s a matter of personal preferences. If you consider a guy dressed in a lady’s clothes as the most funny thing in the world ever and you’re keen to break a balloon with your butt at the stranger’s laps, then you’ll enjoy it.
To sum up – for the price we paid, everything was OK and we enjoyed our holidays. Thank you!
