It was an amazing experience all around and easily one of the best resorts I’ve ever been to—and I’ve visited many others! The resort is very clean, with excellent staff who offer great communication and accommodations. It’s a quiet and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing. While the staff were fantastic, not all the guests were as friendly—some seemed to think they were above others, which was a bit off-putting. The side food options were great, but I wish the restaurants had a better breakdown or explanation of what they offer. Despite that, everything was top-notch and definitely worth a 5-star rating. The resort truly has everything you could imagine, and the staff really make it stand out as an unforgettable experience!

To start our private transfer from the airport was the just over an hours drive but it felt like 20 minutes.
Upon arrival at the hotel we were instantly greeted the minute we got there. All the staff were very attentive yet relaxed - we were offered a glass of fizz which we turned down as we don’t drink (so we’re given a nice mocktail) and a seat in their huge reception and within 5 mins we were presented with our key and a golf buggy came to collect us and our luggage.
We booked the Premium Sea View Swim Up Bungalow and it was lovely. Very clean, serviced daily, we had them take out the alcohol from the mini bar and they gave us more yummy chocolate, water and juices which was restocked daily.
At first it feels like a large resort but nothing is super far - lots of stairs and slopes but there are lifts also to each level.
The resort itself is so clean and constantly being cleaned even though it is reaching the end of the season.
The 2 pools are huge and very clean however absolutely freezing so bear this in mind. (It’s takes some braveness) There is a guy at each pool taking drinks orders - these guys work so so hard and deserved a tip each day and appreciated it too.
Buffet is a very large space and the food is definitely quality over quantity but saying that there is definitely something for everyone.
The other restaurants are good too - our favourite was the Japanese. Booking for the restaurants are via the app and they are bookable 2 days in advance from midnight - we managed to get booked into each restaurant for dinner at least once (you can book as much as you want). The Greek and Italian are also open for lunch with no booking required.

The hotel is genuinely beautiful, as are the views of the sea and mountains of Rhodes. The staff are warm and welcoming and more than happy to assist. This year was our third visit to give context to how good we found it. Adults only, all inclusive, can't get much better than this!

We first visited Mayia a few years ago on a friend’s recommendation—despite being hesitant about all-inclusive resorts. From the moment we arrived, we were completely won over. The personalized service, warm hospitality, and exceptional food set this hotel apart.
What truly makes the experience special is the incredible staff. For instance we visited in May and returned in October: on our first restaurant visit the host immediately checked how our trip to the Provence went in June as he remembered we mentioned in May we were going to France a month later.
Tsampikos at reception who makes you feel welcome like you were family, Yannis and Enkali in the Italian restaurant, Frantzeska in the champagne bar, cheerful Vilson in the bar and the warm personality of Ervin in the Greek restaurant — each of them adds a warm, personal touch that makes every visit just unforgettable.
The only point of attention is the period you’re visiting as most restaurants are actually outdoors. So in low/midseason this could be a thing.
But in any case if you’re looking for a luxurious adults-only and all-inclusive experience, Mayia is hard to beat. For us it has become the ideal relaxed sun destination in between our main holidays. We can’t wait to return!
