Extremely Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was far from enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, the service and facilities failed to meet even basic expectations. This is not a 5* hotel!
The food was a major letdown – served cold, with grey chicken and rubbery boiled eggs. It was both unappetising and concerning from a hygiene perspective. To make matters worse, I became violently ill during the trip, suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea. When I informed the front desk, the staff showed no concern or support – I was simply told, “I don’t know, sorry.”
The front desk staff were consistently unhelpful and distracted, often on their phones and unwilling to assist. We had booked a shuttle to the zoo using a QR code displayed at the hotel. However, no one informed us there would be an extra fee to enter the zoo’s farm area. When we sought help after waiting an hour for the shuttle, the staff told us to wait another 15 minutes and that they’d call. Instead, they handed us the phone with no explanation. In total, we waited nearly two hours, and the return shuttle was also 30 minutes late.
Our room was another disappointment. We booked a double room but were given two twin beds that would separate during the night, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. On top of that, cleaning staff entered the room without knocking or checking if the “Do Not Disturb” sign was out – one even walked in while I was getting changed, which was incredibly uncomfortable and inappropriate.
On top of that, the pool was freezing. The beds were equally uncomfortable – they would slam up against your back just from sitting down, making it impossible to rest properly.
Overall, the staff were rude, untrained, and seemed uninterested in helping guests. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would not recommend staying here to anyone.
The only good thing was the entertainment staff - they were lovely.

It is rare to give bad feedback unless there is a reason for it. First of all, the hotel corresponds to the 3-star rating, but they charge the highest tourist tax. The room was dirty and there were traces of bedbug feces and blood on the textiles. There were also skin rashes.
Bed linen was changed once a day, the "clean" ones had traces of makeup. The minibar was not filled daily, but a bottle of water (which you get once a day) was left behind the door. The theme restaurants were not accessible during the whole week. An unknown hotel customer came to our room with his own card key. When we reported the shortcomings, there was no apology. The evening shows were substandard. However, the worst atmosphere of all was created by the staff, who do not smile, are not customer service-minded and mock us in their own language, thinking we did not understand. We did not know that towels must be collected by 11 am, we were also told about it. The bathtub in the bathroom does not drain and the water accumulates. It also flies to the floor because the bathroom wall is made too short. Even though we took care of good hygiene, we both got a stomach ache. You also have to wait unnecessarily long for the elevator. There is no soundproofing, I recommend earplugs. The worst all-inclusive hotel we have ever been to. Not worth the price. I recommend avoiding it. I hope Apollo Travel Services will find a new partner instead.

A very comfortable hotel with good pools and an excellent location. An all-inclusive hotel in all aspects of food and drink. Its location is excellent, a few minutes' drive from Rhodes town and surrounded by grocery stores and restaurants. Its disadvantages are that the rooms are relatively small, and those whose room does not overlook the pool and sea will have a less than satisfactory view of a parking lot or road and a nearby hotel. The hotel also has an adjacent beach with direct access from the hotel, which is very convenient.

We had a fantastic stay at the Akti Imperial Hotel and would happily return again. The service throughout our stay was excellent — the staff were always welcoming, friendly, and eager to help. A special mention to the bar staff, who were not only efficient but also added a personal, cheerful touch that made our evenings extra enjoyable.
The hotel is kept spotless, and it’s clear the team takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. One of the highlights for us was relaxing on the terrace at the lounge bar — the views over the pool, beach, and the stunning sunsets were simply breathtaking.
This was a truly happy and memorable holiday for us, and we would definitely recommend Akti Imperial to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-run hotel with fantastic views and great service.

Amazing food! Entertainment team are lovely! Very welcoming!
Some of the reception staff are a little rude!
Do not go to this hotel in main season! Unless you want to be waking up at silly O’clock to get a sunbed. They were all gone before 8am. It states in the hotel no reserving beds, people clearly do which meant over the 9 days we stayed we got a bed twice.
