My first solo trip and I couldn’t have picked a better place! I do have some negatives but not a lot in comparison to the positives.
The breakfast was great. The place was spotless, the staff were lovely, housekeeping did an amazing job, free toiletries were great fully received (I only bought hand luggage so space was an issue) the shower was incredible as was the bed!
Down sides are all financial. They take a €150 deposit which is advertised no where and if I hadn’t had my credit card with me I’d have been screwed!
There’s no price lists. Not for the mini bar (generally €2.50 an item) or for the restaurant (€35.00 for evening meal which is expensive compared to the town although the food is very good)
A medium glass of wine in the bar was €7 which is steep, I bought a bottle in town for €6
This is to be expected at a hotel bar but my gripe is with the lack of openness for prices!
I’d deffo come back again though but this time slightly more educated. The walk into town gets easier. The Atmosphere bar is great, the supermarket in town is MUCH Cheaper than the one next to Ice bar.
If money wasn’t a concern I’d probably have given it 5 stars, although no attempt to help with my bags was a tad poor!
Beautiful place, lovely grounds, mostly great service and a short (but steep) walk into a stunning town.

Second visit! Fantastic hotel, great staff, rooms, and food. Bit of a walk into lindos town, but more than makes up for this by the price. Will continue to revisit, I love it!!

Just about to leave after a lovely week's stay here. Slightly out of the way location wise, but this didn't affect us as we didn't mind the walk or the bus into Lindos (which is right outside hotel on a sometimes busy road, not overwhelmingly so) Exceptionally clean, friendly staff, beautiful grounds with nice foliage. Nearest beach is about a 10min walk to get to Navarone Bay, which is quite desolate compared to the well known ones in Lindos. Great for snorkeling though. Good selection of food, and sunbeds always available around pool. Recommended for a quiet getaway not far from Lindos.

We spent 2 weeks at Lindos Sun from the end of May into early June 2023, and we absolutely loved our time there.
The hotel is beautiful, the layout and design emulates the design of a traditional village in many ways. The grounds and public areas (including the pool) are immaculately maintained, and the jasmine arches by the pool are very charming. Its setting at the base of the hill is great, the hillside is lit up at night for a really lovely effect.
We had a sea view room with a great view towards 'Navarone Bay' and the headland. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated.
I was a big fan of the hotel's location. It's a 15 minute walk to the edge of Lindos town, and probably 25 minutes to the far side where the main Lindos beach is. It's on a reasonable gradient going into the town, so if you're of a less hardy disposition or don't cope well with the heat, I'd recommend getting the bus or a taxi into the town during the heat of the day. There are bus stops each direction very handy to the hotel, basically just outside the entrance. We really enjoyed our walks.
The hotel breakfast was brilliant, there was a really good selection and it was all very tasty. We generally ate in Lindos for our evening meals, but the two hotel buffet dinners were good (we preferred the breakfast though). The food from the poolside bar was good too.
We loved our stay, and would definitely return for another visit.

Just stayed at Lindos Sun for 1 week
Half board. We found the hotel basic but very nice, relaxed, and very clean. The staff are all very helpful and polite.
The breakfasts and evening meals are lovely although, simple things like getting a cup of coffee on a morning can be a challenge due to low staff levels, also what is it with the absence milk, is it rationed?. You can sit at your table for 10-15 mins without being offered a cup of coffee some mornings. Coffee needs to be on display so we can help ourselves. (That was my pet hate lol)
I also feel the hotel should at least be providing water with the evening meal. Not charging 2.5 euros for a bottle. It’s a small fee but it adds up over the week. I’ve paid for half board and I need at least water with meals included!
The first room we were allocated was way too small so we asked to be moved into a more spacious room, this was sorted the very next day so that was fine.
Lindos sun hotel is a bit of a walk from the Lindos old town, taxis cost at least 10 euros. I’d recommend getting a car or scooter to get about, or budget for another 20 euros a day at least to get to snd from town. The pool area is basic but again very clean, and relaxed.
This is not the ideal hotel to be taking kids,
This hotel is perfect for couples wanting a relaxed quiet stay, with breakfast and evening meal, that is priced accordingly as it is situated slightly out the way.
All in all we had a great stay with some minor niggles so I docked a star.
