Check in staff was very good as was breakfast staff. Rooms are good but the twin beds separate and need to be constantly pushed back together. Not sure if AC works as it says the temp is set for below 20 c but temp in room reads 22 c. At night they bring in a DJ to play to a near empty pool. If you have an early morning trip out count this one out. It is a good way away from the noise of the German party side which is a bonus, but it appears they want that crowd here too.

We had a really nice stay at Hotel Negresco. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Playa de Palma with shops and restaurants around. They have a spa, which we used to have a relaxing massage. It was a bit pricy but worth at the end. They also have a thermal circuit for €8 per person.
The airport is just 15min by bus/car from the hotel which is great!
The hotel has a good selection of food for breakfast and dinner, if you can I would highly recommend to get the half board. They don't offer drinking water for free, so buy a bottle at a shop and refill it in the free drinking water fountains in the promenade, there is one on Carrer de Bartomeu Xamena, just 5min walk from the hotel.
The room was big enough and clean.
Our AC stop working on the second night but it was quickly fixed in the next day. The WiFi needs improvement, it's the only thing I have to complain about. Most of the time the connection was very poor.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Pool towels require a deposit of €10 in cash and can be changed. Free luggage room after check out. Lockers are €1.

This hotel is amazing! The Staff is great, super kind and professional. Rooms are wide and comfy and the public areas are large and extremely clean. The two swimming pools are simply beautiful, with blue pristine water!
A real dream!

Sadly this hotel was a big disappointment for the price we had to pay. Our ac did not work which is a problem on a hot island off of Spain. To help, the staff brought one fan. No discount for the inconvenience , not even fresh water to drink. We would have to buy it ourselves we were told late at night when we were exhausted and sweating in our room.
We had the biggest and best room which you would think had a comfortable bed for a four star hotel. Apparently not in Mallorca. The bed moved. Yes that is right. It has wheels and can move, which is classified as a cot or roll out bed to me but what do I know? I may be a spoiled American, but this bed was so rock hard both of us (my husband and I) were so sore after sleeping there two days. And two days was enough. Terrible hotel. Definitely not worth the money.
