Just back from a week staying at this wonderful hotel. This is a repeat visit, we went same time last year. I was extremely happy to see the same staff working at Faros as they are such a wonderful group of people, nothing is too much trouble and they seem genuinely happy to be working there. I could pick out special names here but really, they were all magnificent.
The room (sea view) was lovely, refurbished and although the balconies are tiny they have such an amazing view.
The food was varied and very tasty.
I enjoyed the Faros Special cocktails but my husband didn't enjoy the local spirits.
We had a Spa, Turkish Bath and Massage on our first day which was amazing and worth every penny.
Only one negative point, the evening entertainment was not nearly as good as last year.
This hotel does need some TLC but the good definitely out ways the bad and I would return again.

We have just spent 7 nights and have had an amazing time.
Restaurant staff absolutely fantastic, Antonio extremely friendly and helpful.
Food is typical of all inclusive, so does get mundane. Always something to eat though.
Rooms very clean, but very dated, they could do with better lighting and updating.
Pool area was always busy and we could never get a lounger, so spent our days on the beach. Bit stony, and gets very deep very quickly so be careful .
Hairdressers on sight was brilliant did a fantastic job on my hair, very reasonable compared to home.
Overall a lovely experience.
Would definitely recommend.
Made a huge difference being a adult only hotel, if your wanting r&r.
Look forward to a return visit.

Stayed at the Faros Imperial Beach hotel at the end of September beginning of October 24. It's an ideally located hotel with it's own beach and plenty of sunbeds. Along with a nice pool, again plenty of sunbeds although it was the end of season so not sure what bed availability would be like in the summer. Restaurant has plenty of choice, although served usually cold or luke warm. Let down by the lack of cleanliness especially near to the kitchen area, and unfortunately due to the way they display the yogurts / jams flies were a problem. Probably better in sealed pots ?
On one day served out prawns which were, although cooked were barley warm and staff suggested using the microwave 🤔. So stomach bugs could be a problem. Heard plenty of negative comments from other customers.
The main issue with this hotel is the need for a major upgrade, and certainly not a 3 star plus as Jet2 advertise.
Carpets dirty outside the rooms, lights in corridors not working ( higher floors ).
Upon arriving, finding empty shower gel still in the shower, and hairs in the drain.
Old soap gunk on the bathroom walls now embedded.
Shower head full of white gunk ( replaced with one that leaks and wrong type.
Electric sockets hanging out of the wall, pulled right out when removing phone charger revealing live wires.
Room cleaners rarely move coffee cups or replenish the coffee unless asked.
Bedding with holes in.
Balcony door left open everyday, which is a security issue especially in our room 122 and next doors, 124 /6 & 8 all of which overlook the hotel entrance carport and an easy climb from room to room.
All made worse as the staff even though informed on a daily basis failed to put right.
Managers even have a negative view saying ( " don't like it go to different hotel, and we provide a safe ") so good luck if you stay hear. Surprised to read other reviews as everybody staying there had something negative to say.
So biggest issue, dated and dirty.
On a positive, the staff in the restaurant and bars couldn't do enough for you and were so polite, cracking location. Management need replacing.

The reception area and outside spaces are kept clean and tidy. The decor and furnishings are very tasteful. The pool area is very small for the size of the hotel but the beach area is large with plenty of sunbeds. The location is excellent, with bars, shops, and restaurants all within a short walking distance. The majority of the staff speak a good level of English and are friendly and polite. The selection of food in the restaurant is good. A big shoutout to Őzenç who is extremely attentive and polite. He helped me obtain gluten-free bread for my soup at lunch and dinner. Room cleaning is a little sporadic and on more than one occasion we were left without a sheet to sleep under. The rooms are tired and in need of updating but they are clean. Our fridge did not work for the first three days and we asked Reception three times to send up maintenance to have a look at it. In the end, we managed to fix it ourselves. The bedroom walls are paper thin but the view from our room on the fifth floor was spectacular.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Faros Premium beach hotel for our week holiday in Içemeler. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to stay. We had a huge room which was super clean, free wifi and free towels. The food and drinks were all inclusive, meals all throughout the day and bars always open. The pool area wqs an amazing place to lay out in the sun and then cool off with a swim (they had inflatables too for the big kids ;) ). And the hotel is right next to the beach which was a lovely place to relax and read a good book. But above all, the staff really made our holiday memorable. We had smiles and friendly conversation from all staff, who are extremely hardworking and made sure we had every need met. We really recommend the spa also, we had a Turkish bath and massage on our first day. The ladies in the spa were beyond amazing!
A special thank you to Antonio, who sold us a relaxing spa session on our first day and ever since smiled and talked to us every day. And Taner, whose cheekiness made every meal time entertaining and fun. Not to mention how helpful he was, constantly topping up our drinks without us having to ask and clearing our plates as soon as we finished our food.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Içemeler. It was an absolute dream. Thank you to all at the Faros hotel.
