My friend and i recently visited this hotel and were very happy with our experience. As soon as we entered reception to check-in we were met with plenty friendly faces there, the staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel itself was nice and clean, the food and drinks were lovely, a special mention to Richi, Alejandra and all the entertainment team there- they really did a fantastic job and were incredibly enthusiastic our entire stay. The hotel is in a lovely location, right next to the beach. We look forward to returning again soon!

Stayed 5 nights at this hostel and I have a lot to say:
1-Service
- No information shared on the little activities proposed by the hostel (gym class or whatsoever)
- QR code of the hotel does not work, so you cannot even have basic information, like restaurants schedule from your room, you have to check and remember it.
- We arrived end of the morning and did the check in but we had to wait until 3pm to get our room keys! We left our luggage’s in their dedicated room, when we came back they struggle to find our luggage’s, we had to search by ourself
2- Restaurant
- restaurant schedules are too short, we couldn’t not get in to grab some food as the guy closed the door right in front of us and said it was too late. Late was 9:34pm and the restaurant doors closed at 9:30pm … they did not let us grab a piece of bread or anything.
- otherwise the buffet is good
3- Room
- room is nice, with a nice balcony.
- don’t be fooled by the website picture, the view is ugly. You’ll look to the other hostel in front of you
- they did not clean the bathroom in one week and did not change the bedsheet neither. They only make the bed and that’s it. Quite surprising for a “4* hotels”
- we left our dirty towels on the floor to get new one, like the lady at the reception told me to do (in a not nicely way). We never got new towels, I had to ask the reception for clean ones. We never got them. I had to grab some myself when the closet was open and the cleaning lady was busy.
- there is not shampoo samples or body lotion. No soap to wash our hands. They only provide full size body wash, both for the shower and sink. And those bottles were already opened from the previous person sleeping in the room. Really not hygienic.
4- Other
- we rented bikes for 2 days in a shop on Magaluf and I needed to check with the hostel if we could parked our bikes somewhere. IMPOSSIBLE to find the hostel phone number, I had to call global HYATT to have a number! The phone number does not exist!! Or is not upstate.
- once I finally got the reception and asked if it was possible to park our bikes somewhere at the hostel the lady not nicely answered that my only option was to park our bikes on our balcony and then she HUNG UP! I couldn’t ask any more question
- we got to the hostels with our bikes, crossed the whole hostel, took 2 small elevators and put them on our balcony. It was awful and difficult. What 4* hostel in the world and in touristic area does not have a dedicated place to park bikes???
- overall the staff is ok except one lady at the reception
- they are clearly understaffed! And we’re in May! Good luck if you’re coming in July or August!
- last but not least, do not expect a lovely little hostel like they’re trying to sell it to you, it’s a huge one, lacking organisation.

Calvia Nightmares would be more appropriate for name. This is branded as a Hyatt hotel but falls very short of the standards expected of the Hyatt brand.
- World Cafe for dining was perfect nice views and acceptable food.
- World Cafe closed in the evenings with the only eating in the entire hotel being in the newly opened market cafe - this was appalling in its service, food, location and atmosphere. If you like eating in a basement school inspired dining room this is the one for you.
- Evening dining in the food market - I wouldn't bother again a disappointment.
- Preferred - rooms were lacking the upgrade of robes, slippers, toiletries and snack - once raised replenishment was hit and miss.
- Preferred - Adult pool area poorly supplied and maintained, several complaints had to be made to get the basic level of service paid for.
- Long queues at the bar in the evenings.
- Staff disorganised - didn't know what services were available to what clients.
- refused Cava on the 1st day.
- frozen bread in the cafe for breakfast.
- once complaints were made the management did not attempt to reach out to use once - even though one of them was behind me when I complained about the bread.
Only on the day of departure was it admitted that the hotel overall was 40% down on its staffing levels and that is why the only restaurant with an outside view was closed in the evenings. This was supposed to be a relax and recharge holiday for us - this has been far from relaxing, really quite stressful and a complete disappointment - the hotel has the ability to be a great place to stay if resourced and managed correctly. Which sadly it is not. Hyatt your on the ground staff are taking the flack for your failings on service and I can't see this getting any better any time soon.

My wife and I stayed here on our trip to Europe because we've been to the Dreams in Costa Rica and loved it. This Dreams is not at the same level. It might be in the future but at the time we stayed in April 2024 it was not.
There was very little information online coming in other than grand re-opening. Well apparently that got delayed because we only had a single dining option of the World Cafe buffet rather than the many restaurants that were supposed to be open.
The room was great in size and style but unfortunately the cleaners had forgotten to empty the trash so that made me worry what else might have been missed.
As far as the all inclusive goes I wish there were a few more options other than a single draft beer (San Miguel) and a short list of mostly sugary mixed drinks.
Overall I think it has potential, hopefully they continue to improve and when the new restaurants open that should be a big help.

2nd day here and already having issues with customer service. Asked the hotel to provide me with something which they promised to since yesterday. Followed up today and they said they will bring it up to my room. followed up again after 2hours only to be told it can only be provided for VIP Clients
The hotel is not actually all inclusive as the bar will only serve you certain drinks at certain times
Great location, great aesthetics with rooms. Customer service so far is not the best. Seems like they don’t know what they’re doing
