Unfortunately I don’t even want to give this place a one star! My experience has been awful. We came as a family of 4 as a last minute holiday and ended up wanting to spend time anywhere but the hotel.
Rooms are basic and dated, nowhere to dry the wet towels, balcony door half broken.
Location is a good 20-minute walk from the beach but ok, the bus service is infrequent and therefore gets very crowded.
Food and menu are very limited, repetitive, poorly labeled. Food:. Some food, e.g. baked beans have a distinctive vinegary taste (probably to disguise the quality and freshness of the product). Most of my family ended up with upset stomachs by day 5, ending up with not touching their food for the rest of our holidays.
All inclusive, which we were, is a waste of money. The local wine they served was undrinkable, coffee (instant not freshly brewed) just about bearable, but any decent cappuccino or even a juice (not squash) was payable!
There are only 2 pools (I am not counting a 2x2 toddler splash thing), one of which was heated, which was nice, but very busy. Sunbeds are a big issue as there are not enough of them for the number of guests, so you end up with nowhere to sit with lots of empty ones with the towels on them. Unless you are prepared to get up at 7am on your holiday to “reserve” your sunbed, you won’t be able to use the hotel facilities, as was in our case, we ended up going to the beach most days.
And last but not least, the entertainment was mediocre, a lot of YouTube music on a screen with ads!
All in all, it’s not just a waste of money, but ruins your holiday.
Seriously, how other people can give this a positive rating, I do not know. Do not come here is my strongest advice.

Not recommended. We've not been hungry but food not very good. All inclusive only in theory. Entertainment not exist at this place. Carlos who run enterainment has no idea how to do his job. Often he was drunk at the hotel.
I'm giving only 2 stars just because staff at restaurant, bar and cleaning ladis are hard working and very friendly.

I would rate the hotel a solid 3.5/5 (It's impossible to give such a rating on Google Maps, so I give it 4 stars here). It falls just a bit short of a 4. But let's go through it step by step. Let's start with the positives. Very friendly staff, excellent and reasonably varied food. Some items were repetitive, but we did come across some new options as well. The beach is not too far away, about a 15-20 minute walk, and it's about a 20-minute drive to Heraklion. For a livelier nightlife in Chersonissos, it's a few bus stops away (we paid 1.60 euros per person for the bus). The room had a bathroom and air conditioning.
At the pool, the availability of sunbeds is decent; you can usually find something. However, the staff doesn't enforce the rule against reserving sunbeds with towels, so when the 'towel enthusiasts' come along, it can sometimes be a bit more challenging.
There are quite a few smokers in the hotel, both at the pool and even in the outdoor dining area. Depending on whether you are a smoker or not, this could be a drawback or an advantage.
What I consider a downside is mainly the "dated" condition of the room, somewhat neglected and in need of renovation. I want to emphasize that the rooms were clean and regularly cleaned, but you can feel that they have seen better days. Since in Greece, toilet paper is thrown into the trash bin, a bidet would be helpful, which was missing in the bathroom. There are also quite a few mosquitoes, so it's worth bringing some plug-in mosquito repellent.
The internet practically didn't work; even if you managed to connect to the Wi-Fi, it would disconnect from the internet dozens of times within an hour. It rarely worked stably for more than a few minutes. It was practically unusable, at least during our stay.
I don't understand why the pools were closed (surrounded by loungers so you couldn't get in) shortly after 9:00 PM. September evenings are still warm, and personally, I would have liked to swim, but it wasn't possible.
Regarding entertainment, there was aqua aerobics in the morning and, in the evening after 9:00 PM, activities like karaoke and dancing.
The hotel's location is in a village, so if someone enjoys "city life," it's not a good option.
This hotel could greatly improve in my eyes if they:
-Improved the room conditions
- Kept the pools open at night
- Provided functional WiFi
In that case, I would easily give it a 4/5 or more, but as it stands, I think 3.5/5 is a fair rating.
In summary, is it worth it? If you find it at a good price and you're mobile, I believe it is. If you have higher expectations, perhaps it's better to look for something else.

The hotel is very clean. Everybody is very kind and welcoming. The bus station is 3 minutes by foot and you can take the bus for either Hersonissos (where the view and food is amazing and you also have the possibility for shopping or you can go to Herakleion.
At the hotel there are 3 pools (ideal for children as well) . Every night, except sunday, Carlos is entertaining the guests ( he is fun and funny). We enjoyed our stay and I recommend this Hotel.

The staff is very friendly however when we arrived to the hotel our room looked very old and ugky there was 4 plates with a but of food on them. Their is air conditioning and and alright balcony that'd the only good thing. There was barely any things to do for children and every night there was music playing from a computer and a lady dancing with children, the food in the restaurant is re used every day and there's watermelon every single day. We thought that there was going to be Greek food and greek music but there was none of that there's only 3 pools which is okay. You cab get free drinks in little plastic cups which is OK. I reccomend this hotel to older people without children. The hotel is placed in the middle of no where even our taxi driver didn't know where to go it's it's quite far away from the beach. They love salt in the hotel there's soup there everyday and it's very very very very salty. ALSO the worst things about the rooms was that there were ants walking around there. There was a fakir that came one day and he did the same trick just in different positions which is laying on glass he tried to do the fire trick where he blows onto the fire and it spreads but he chocked on the liquid and had to end the show the music there is terrible they play it off YouTube with ads every 10 kin the workers just put the music on for like 2 hours and sit and talk to eacother. Very bad. Club Lyda please reply to me
