Brilliant hotel, the only downside is the location where everything is a bit out of the way. Staff were exceptional, we could want for nothing. Id easily come back.
We stayed here over July 2024, our first time in Rhodes and our first experience in a 5 star. One to remember.

This hotel is awesome, because of the great service! I had my doubts, because of the architecture. Big 5 star hotel, not very personally and looked more like an Airport waiting lounge. BUT I was surprised, how personally it has been because of the great service. The waiters are super great, the food is really good, and the waiters are very fast with all requests, the pool service (exchanging towels and arranging sun-beds) is very lovely. Even it’s crowded he always finds a place in the shadow. The room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The view from the room is stunning 🤩. Always a nice breeze even makes a hot day comfortable. It was the first Holliday with our baby (4 Month). What we will remember from this trip, how child friendly everyone has been. Everybody smiling at our baby was so lovely and cute! Thank you for a nice vacation.

I was a little doubtful when I first arrived at the hotel. I had very high expectations after reading all the reviews. However, the hotel's service and response to any feedback could not be faulted. It was nice that staff actually listen to feedback and act upon it and that was appreciated.
Food was just amazing and the fact that you could order individual specialist dishes even at the buffet restaurant made dining extra special. Good facilities with all types of sport available on the resort. Beach was very near. Rooms are clean and spacious. Great interactive evening entertaining daily which we loved. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is disabled and wheelchair friendly. Spa was just incredible. There is a kids cinema daily which was nice.
Things to improve:
- We went end of Oct 2024 and there was one main issue i.e. freezing cold pools with only a very small pool area being healed so most people were not using the pool. Lot of guests were not happy. I would say to the hotel: please resolve by having a decent sized heated pool that everyone can use all year round. We did complain and to be fair, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
- Kids club: most of the staff (who were young kids that have no idea about kids) seem to spend their time on their phones and did not actually follow the events that were on their schedule. Kids were bored and did not want to return to the kids club which is a shame. Kids disco was also bit rubbish - a conference room and inappropriately infantile music when most kids were aged 6 plus and did not want to dance. The intent was good but again having staff that know more about what kids are into and not hiring staff that are in their 20's or teenagers would be good.
- The games room, we want to play pool or air hockey: but all were extra 1 Euro each which was disappointing when you have 6 of you in a group and works out expensive when playing lots of games over 10 days. At an all inclusive resort when you have paid a lot of money, these facilities are expected to be free and included too. Apparently, the games area is run by another company. I would say give each guest a few tokens each for the games room to use during their stay to make guests happier. Games room was dead and I am sure having to pay extra put most guests off.

Atrium Platinum was a great option as a first resort experience for my husband and I. We stayed in one of the terrace rooms with a private pool and we upgraded to all inclusive.
In May, the resort seemed a little sleepy and quiet. There were not a lot of planned activities during the day which was fine as we really just wanted to lay by the pool/beach after a long 9 days in Spain and Italy going and never stopping.
We really enjoyed the low key nature of the resort and it made a pleasant basecamp for casual exploration of Rhodes.
Pros:
- Buffet had a good variety of food at dinner and breakfast
- No problems getting reservations at ala carte restaurants
-Ala Carte restaurant food was okay to great. Nothing gross or uneatable but some things just weren't our tastes.
-pool side service was awesome. Order from the app was easy
-pool grill food was surprisingly good
-walkable to Old Town for those that are in good health and enjoy a 35-45 minute walk. Getting a taxi back to the resort did take awhile since many taxi stalls were not marked currently on google maps
-Easy to rent a car for the day at the resort (take a taxi at arrival)
-Reception was quick to respond to questions and needs through the app
-Good drinks. Had some issues when ordering off menu but bartenders were willing to learn to make drinks if you knew the ingredients. They were also very confused by my husband not wanting ice in his scotch.
-Room was well maintained with a few bits of wear and tear but nothing notable
-Mini bar restocking was daily. However, the no new wine after the first provided bottles
-Housekeeping was very organized and even folded and placed my lovie (yes I'm in my 30s and I have my lovie) on the pillow every day.
- pool loungers were cushioned
-sparkling wine was served at the breakfast buffet
-Most of the house wines were drinkable to good. Especially the rose!
Cons: None of these are deal breakers
-decor at the bar is blah. The chairs weren't comfortable to sit for a long time
-the night time entertainment was in the small bar or lobby and were extremely loud. We could only handle staying around for one show when we moved to spots outside of the bar. The bar waiters did come out to us and get us drinks which was nice.
-The hotel doesn't have their own beach area. You can rent loungers for 20 euro (i think that's what it was). The beach looked decent. But it was red flag wind the entire time we were there so we never got in.
-All employees were pleasant, but no one stood out enough to ever get their name. Sometimes at breakfast it was hard to get coffees especially additional coffee after the first one.
-In room wine was gross
-Room service was not included in the AI, but was 50%
-Private pool blocked our view of the Aegean sea if we laid on our terrace loungers. This was disappointing and we will be more careful with room selection. I want a view over a private pool
Overall, this was a great experience. Nothing went wrong. The hotel worked with us on any issues or questions. The car rental company that is within the hotel was a bit frustrating but some of that was our own fault. At the end of the day they were able to help us out without charging us a ton extra.

I can’t add anything to the positive reviews on this place. If you get the chance to stay here take it. This is a gorgeous hotel, with ultra-friendly staff, amazing food, spectacular pools, great location. Every possible need is catered for. Everything is perfect. The one thing I didn’t like, which isn’t the hotel’s fault is having to pay a Greek government tax of €10 a night simply because it’s a 5-star hotel.
