My son and I had an amazing day at the Lake Rd., Cozumel during spring break 2025. Got a great deal on the room and our week stay! The resort was extremely clean and beautiful throughout the beach was one of a kind on Cozumel. We thought the food was delicious and the pool area with Diego as the entertainment director made things super fun during the week. We will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Allegro Resort Cozumel, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This resort truly offers a perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and fun. The property itself is beautifully landscaped, with well-maintained grounds, crystal-clear pools, and a pristine beach that provides the perfect backdrop for any vacation. The variety of activities available—whether you’re into water sports, lounging by the pool, or exploring the local culture—ensures there’s never a dull moment.
What made my stay even more special, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. A standout was Angel, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Angel’s warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. Whether he was assisting with check-in, offering recommendations on local attractions, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, Angel was always there with a smile and a genuine desire to help. His attentiveness and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set Allegro Resort apart from other places I’ve stayed.
In addition to Angel’s outstanding service, the resort offers a wide range of delicious dining options, excellent entertainment, and spacious, comfortable rooms. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway, family vacation, or adventure-filled trip, Allegro Resort Cozumel is the perfect destination, made even more memorable by incredible staff like Angel. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

If you are diving this location is great. The great reefs are just a few minutes away. The food is good, not exceptional. Some of the speciality restaurants are are extraordinary hot with no hope in sight for getting air conditioning (Asian restaurant in particular). Staff is quite helpful and friendly. If you have the opportunity to upgrade your room, do it. The private pool with private breakfast makes this worth it.

We had such an amazing stay at allegro! The service was incredible! Everybody was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The entertainment was great and there was always something to do. David, Angel, Paulina, and Diego were amazing! Our group of 13 really enjoyed the beach volleyball and other activities. There was something for all ages. The waiters and waitresses were so friendly and the food was delicious.

I recently stayed at **Allegro Cozumel**, and while there are definitely some great aspects, it’s a real mixed bag overall.
### **The Good: The Beach is Incredible**
The highlight of this resort is **the beach**—it’s absolutely stunning! The sand is soft, the water is crystal-clear, and the location is perfect for relaxing or snorkeling. If you’re looking for a beautiful beachfront experience, this is definitely a plus.
### **The Bad: Rooms Need Serious Improvement**
Unfortunately, the rooms are **below average**. They feel outdated, not very well-maintained, and could definitely use some upgrades. If you're expecting modern, comfortable accommodations, you might be disappointed.
### **The So-So: Staff & Service**
Most of the staff is **friendly and helpful**, but service can be hit or miss depending on the time of day and how busy they are. Some employees go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable, while others seem less engaged.
### **The Worst: The Food**
The biggest downside of Allegro Cozumel is **the food**—it’s just not good. The buffet is repetitive, and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. If you’re a foodie or expect great dining options, you’ll likely be disappointed.
### **Final Thoughts**
Allegro Cozumel has **an unbeatable beach and a mostly friendly staff**, but the **rooms and food bring the experience down**. If your priority is enjoying the ocean and you’re okay with mediocre accommodations and dining, you might still have a good time. However, if you’re looking for a well-rounded resort experience, you may want to consider other options.
