I had the pleasure of dining at the steakhouse located within the resort during my recent trip to Mexico, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a stylish yet relaxed vibe that perfectly matched the tropical setting.
The service was outstanding — Ezequiel was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations.
Now onto the food — wow! The steak was cooked to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and tender, just the way I like it. I ordered the ribeye, and it had a beautiful sear and rich, buttery flavor. The sides were equally impressive, especially the grilled vegetables and truffle mashed potatoes. They also had an excellent wine selection that paired beautifully with the meal.
We finished off with a decadent dessert that was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner.
Whether you're a steak lover or just looking for a high-quality dining experience, this steakhouse is a must-visit if you're staying at the resort. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Mexico!

I am editing my wonderful review after my last visit, there were changes done throughout the hotel, the best place in it(the beach bar )closes at 8 pm. Pretty much there is no place to take a beer or a cocktail beside the unpleasant lobby bar, which is at the other part of the hotel. All bars in the beach area are closed early?!? Whoever took that decision has to be fired. I am definitely not coming back!
Best place I’ve visited in Mexico, I am about to come back next week for a fifth time. I could not believe the marine live variety at the beach, every time I go snorkeling I find new spices. Food is good, drinks even better. And on top of everything, you can walk out of the resort and feel safe, there is what to do even if you go for more than 10 days.

I don’t like one thing and that is the margarine in the food. I know in every hotel this is preferred because it’s price, but should not be a food for people at the first time.

First visit to the Catalonia but not Mexico. On the whole we were very impressed, the staff service is good, rooms well sized and comfy.
Always something to eat in the buffet, but the specialist restaurants turn it up even more. Their food is great, and the staff go the extra mile. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending
Pedro Chuc is a fantastic barman, so helpful, and friendly. He makes a great Flor de Cana and cola.

Lorenza is the best. Service was great, food was great too at Beloved. My one criticism is the timeshare folks at the front. You don’t realize that there’s selling you a timeshare until you’re way involved in the process. They present themselves as concierge and want to tell you about the resort. They also make promises for upgraded rooms and better location that the front desk cannot accommodate. Just walk past them and go straight to the front desk and check yourself in. The resort is on the small side but they are big on activities and the evening program is great. The beach is not the best so if that’s a deal breaker for you maybe look somewhere else. The pools and pool bars are great and always a fun time. The food was just average at the buffets, hibachi dinner was really good and so was the snack bar.

I've 7 days all inclusive with my wife.from day 1 the shower was not working and it took them 6 days to fix after i've called and attended the service desk more than 5 times. They fixed the shower knob a day before our departure.
They wouldn't offer to change the room or anything.
Our last day, our transfer pocknup for the airport was at 4pm. I asked to stay 2-3 hours in the room but we ask to pay extra. No accommodation for the shower troubles.
The food is decent but always the same things. No variety. To get you coffee in the morning at the buffet, you're lucky if you get before waiting 15mns. No coffee self-service.
All staffs are asking for positive reviews meanwhile their service is less than decent.
