We enjoyed our visit here and definitely will come back. 1. The room was very clean,nice and comfortable 2. The reception, Mr. Okba, professional and know many helpful things and tips. Always with smile and ready to help anytime. 3. The chef, Dimitri, is very good cook especially delicious desserts and he cares about everything, dedicated all the time. We had varsity and good food every day. 4. The owner, Katherina, is simply fantastic. Always helps, Always with a smile. Thank to her we had excellent deal renting a car from Motor club. 5. Checking out after a 10 day all inclusive stay, well rested and well fed. The food selection was varied with plenty of options to suit all tastes. A good spread of spices, pickles and sauces to elevate any dish to suit your taste. The all inclusive drinks package basic, but include their €5 happy hour cocktails to ring the changes. We enjoyed the larger rooms and quieter pool in the annex but both agreed it is the staff that makes this place special. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, this ticks all the boxes. This was the perfect place to come with my daughter and granddaughter (aged nearly three years old). The staff were delightful and helpful; our two bedroom apartment overlooking the pool had excellent night time air con and its own balcony for privacy and sunbathing. The food was excellent, plentiful and varied - all carefully labelled for those with allergies or special diets, and served buffet style which is helpful with the very young. I was particularly impressed that we were asked to refill the 2 litre water bottle provided on arrival from a water machine, thus reducing plastic bottle use and waste - well done! The small pool was perfect for the little one to play in whilst the adults kept cool alongside her, and the beach and shops were a couple of minutes' walk away if we wanted a change. One anxiety was the stone flooring which was slippery when wet, both inside and out, so care was needed when walking around, but otherwise it was a lovely place to rest and relax. Thank you to all the staff for a memorable holiday!

We stayed in the annexe, where the room is small, but clean and quite modern. The hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel as claimed, but they charge the 4 star tax of €7 per night, so a 12 night stay is an extra €84 as you check in, and it's the first all inclusive hotel I've ever been asked to pay for the safe....? I refused. We were all inclusive, and the food was ok, breakfast could do with an egg chef, and maybe invest in a toaster that doesn't take nearly 5 minutes (yes, that's correct). Lunch and evening meals we found things to eat with the exception of fish night (that was down to us not being fish eaters, other people might love fish night). The alcoholic drinks were terrible, so much so, that us and a few other guests used to nip to the supermarket and buy beer from there. The staff were all polite and helpful. The annexe was relaxing and very quiet, except when the children from the main pool came across, maybe make the annexe adult only, or at least for the people that have paid extra for it? After all, I couldn't go and use the private hot tubs, could I? I always ask 'would I return to this hotel', and unfortunately I wouldn't. Top tip- go bed and breakfast or half board, definitely not all inclusive.

We booked a stay at this hotel via Jet2 Holidays for a week mid-September. Before I go into details, I should say that we had a lovely and relaxing time. We'd picked this hotel specifically because of its kid-friendliness. Unfortunately, not everything we signed up for was delivered. Location: 1 min walk from a public beach. There are in fact a lot beaches within a walkable distance. Lots of shops, restaurants, car hire companies and excursion centres nearby. However, the street the hotel is on looks very untidy with bins right at the entrance. Staff: amazing, helpful, friendly and attentive. Cannot fault the staff working here. They definitely make this place. Room: we got a triple room which was perfect for us 3. One big double bed and one single. The bathroom was dated. It needed a deep clean. The shower was very mouldy. There was no bath which we knew about. Housekeeping: not great. Overall, the room was tidy and clean. However, towels were changed only once although they were meant to be changed every 2 days. Bedsheets weren't changed at all but were meant to be changed every 3 days. No housekeeping on Sundays. The shower was in an awful state. Facilities: big pool, kids pool, kettle and cups in the room but no coffee or tea. Despite being all inclusive, certain things are only served within limited times. For example, ice cream between 3 and 5 pm only. Games room with no games. Children's room shut outwith the season which is highly disappointing because this is why we chose this hotel. Playground is tired with only a slide and 2 swings. Entertainment was OK for adults but no entertainment for kids. There is meant to be a kids disco on Mondays at 10:15 pm which is way too late. Regardless of the limited children's facilities, our daughter did have a good time and was keen on playing in the playground with other kids. Food: it was good. Lunch choices were much better than dinner. It was mostly the same options pretty much every day. Drinks: very limited all-inclusive menu. Alcohol and soft drinks seemed to be non-branded. Cocktail menu wasn't included in all-inclusive and the prices were rather steep. Coffee and tea were available all day via self-service. Overall, despite having a nice time, we won't be back. It just seems too expensive for what you get.

10/10 all around. Just returned home from a week stay and absolutely devastated to be back, what a beautiful and welcoming hotel from start to finish. The staff are friendly and accommodating, not one guest was rude or aggressive in any way, very mixed nationalities at the hotel and All did their best to speak to one another. The pool is absolutely beautiful and even at peak hours there was availability to sit around it. The food is abit mediocre but still nice! I can’t stress enough how stunning this hotel is, we are already discussing returning in the next couple of years if possible to do so as we loved it that much. Thank you so much to all there! Highly recommend for families.

On the first floor our room was a good size. The minor issue was that the cold water tap in the bath/shower was not working, but once I let reception know , they came and fixed it straight away. Our view from the balcony was perfect poolside and beach front. The service and cleanliness were 5star. Family-friendly hotel and very peaceful atmosphere. I had a massage at the poolside, which was amazing. Thanks again, Lucy. You are amazing at what you do. The only thing that was not for me was that the breakfast could have been fresher, but I have high standards when it comes to food. Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay, and I loved it.

We had an amazing week staying in the hotel! The pool was amazing, the rooms were clean, the food was delicious and traditional and the stuff was very friendly, helpful and warm!!When we arrived they surprised us with a 15 minutes massage, it was great. Aloni the smiley girl in the reception gave us some great recommendations for the area , the lady of the restaurant was so amazing and George at the bar was creating magic with tequila! I would stay again in this hotel, i recommend it!

we stayed in a room with 4 beds. 2 for kids and 2 for adults although the manager confirmed we will not be getting a room with more beds than people. bad points (for me at least): the gym is old , unequipped and dirty (with dust and sand). it opens at 8 am and closes at 8 pm. the pool also closes around 8 pm you cannot take a swim. the hotel offers very little sun beds as compared to how many people it hosts. the terrace is large but you cannot eat everywhere , only in one part of it. and those tables are mostly for bigger groups. very few parking spaces. no beach. 4 star hotel and no private beach. the beaches in front are from the tavernas/pubs around the hotel so you have to pay for the sun bed and umbrella. last but not least, the bathroom flooded the rest of the room, as because of poor isolation the shower flooded the rest, it was extremely uncomfortable. the bar is quite expensive good points: great for kids (you have activities for kids and day care) quiet hotel facilities for senior people great staff good breakfast overall a good price and quality but not 4 stars. and not standard for 4 stars. i would say somewhere between 2 and 3 stars.

This is NOT a family friendly place and this is not worth that money. In this area there is nothing to see and without transport/rental car nothing to do. About the hotel...There is no air conditioning in the lobby, reception and dining hall and the rooms are stuffy. Basically no WIFI (even TV channels has a poor lacking signal). The pool is small and there are not enough beach chairs around pool so you are forced to go to the beach where you have to pay for a beach chair. On the other side of the wall from the pool is a car wash, and it is noisy when it is working. All day (7 days) same lame breakfast. If you do not have an all-inclusive option but have chosen breakfast and dinner like i with two children, ONLY water is available for drinking in the dining hall. No juice, nothing else. If you want juice you pay extra. The children were extremely disappointed and this "option" was first time ever seen before. Thanks to the hall attendants who reminded you of this whenever possible as well. In the hotel description, the room has a Standard Room with Garden View...well there is no garden. In the hotel description, the room is soundproof...there was such a noise from the door of the room that I had to repeatedly check that the door of the hotel room was not open for some reason.

I saw reviews about the rooms being bad and the service being horrible, but i find that absolutely false. The rooms, while old-looking, are confortabke and very welcoming. The doors are kinda bad (locks are hard to open (because you need to use a key). In my opinion, the food is great! Although there are not many options, the quality is better than expected. The staff is great, the people at the reception are kinda quiet, but the rest of the staff are nice. Location-wise this is the best, a few steps away from the beach meaning easy access. The animation team is good at keeping kids entertained, with games, dances & more. In coclusion, its a nice, cheap hotel that can provide anything you need for a nice week with your family!

A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean as the the hotel grounds. All staff are friendly and hard working. The food is excellent, the choice and quality was a highlight for me, healthy too which makes deserts a guilt free choice! There is always something for everyone with snacks by the pool bar too like pizza, pastries, ice cream. Pool bar staff are busy in the evenings when the entertainment is on so be nice and leave then a tip! Pools are kid safe life guard on duty. You can walk to a water park just a few minutes to the back of the hotel and beyond that down to the beach road which I recommend especially for sunset which is stunning. Take care on the roads though some places there is no path but not too busy with cars. There is a bus stop close to the hotel and easy to but tickets or pay on the bus by card, for day trips to heraklion etc which are well worth it to see some of the history. There's a natural history museum great for kids with life size dinosaurs and a lot of interactive science and nature. Shopping for adults of course and a Starbucks for coffee addicts.

This is an absolutely amazing Spa Hotel! Little bit further from the sea, but they have beach shuttle. Relaxed happy atmosphere! Nice range of spa treatments (extra pay), yoga and pilates classes (extra pay), evening entertainment. They have range of rooms, including the swim-up rooms. Staff surprised us with bottle of wine in the room for my birthday, and offered us an upgrade for last 2 days stay in a bigger and swim-up type room. Breakfast are great, massive range of foods to choose from and live cooking. There are families with kids too. Best hotel I stayed in. Absolutely recommended!

So if you haven't been to Crete before,best to know you'll need a car to explore fully. Hotel was lovely and staff were friendly. I felt there wasn't enough of anything when the is busy, like sunbeds, chairs by the bar, food in the restaurant etc. A few local shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby and a beach but if you need more this hotel might not be for you. Perfect if you just want to chill out in the sun.

A very nice hotel. The service at the reception is very good. The lady's will help u and always with a smile. The rooms are just standard but clean and that is what is important for us. The food in the restaurant is simple but good. The drinks at the bar are simple drinks. No coca cola or Fanta If u want a cocktail you have to pay even with the all inclusive It was our second time at Kalia Beach. Maybe till next year.

Our stay was in September 2023: The accommodation itself was great - modern, always clean rooms, lovely garden, amazing location (super close to the beach, shops). Our biggest disappointment was the hotel restaurant - low quality, often tasteless, ingrediences were visibly used from previous meals!!! 😬 After a few days we gave up, craving for something tasteful and authentic we went for our lunches/dinners to the local taverns where our taste buds were finally satisfied. I hope there will be an improvement in the meal preparation! It is a big shame to treat your guests this way...

The hotel is rated as a 4 stars hotel but the conditions were the ones from a hotel with 1 or 2 stars from my country. Ignoring the aspect of the room (the ugliest one seen in a hotel where I have been) there were a lot of things that were not present in this 4 stars room: - the fridge was empty - there was not even a bottle of water (we arrived at 2 AM, time at which almost all markets were closed and 28 degrees outside..) - there were no cups in the room - no shampoo and shower cream (only 2 soaps) - our bathroom had no possibility to be aired (the vent machine was not working + the bathroom window could not be opened) - we needed to stay all the time with the curtains closed because otherwise the people that were walking on the alley could see in the room - the room was cleaned almost daily but in one day we found a big bug in the room - almost 3-4 cm (the hotel employees have treated this case pretty superficially but they gave us some insecticide to kill it) We had the "all inclusive" package. On the hotel restaurant, Zorbas tavern, there was Swedish buffet for breakfeast, lunch and dinner, with many types of dishes but the food was very bad and we ate mostly at other restaurants. The drinks were as bad as the food (juices, coffees, beers) only a vague flavour of the taste that should have. If you are having more expectations from a 4 star hotel than just a roof above your head, I don't recommend this place.

Had a great week at St Constantin. Room with a swim up terrace was amazing with great air con and very clean! Loved the shower and will miss it! Food was ok to good. Lots of choice but let down on quality occasionally. Drink was ok. Local beer was nice but the wines not so great. Lots of single use plastic and paper which I didn’t like and would have liked dedicated recycling facilities or use of reusable cups and plates. Staff were amazing from the receptionists to the restaurant waiters, cleaners and the repair men. So friendly and they couldn’t do more to make sure you had a good time. Pools were clean and there were a number of them so never felt busy. Nice beaches within a few meters of the entrance with some nice snorkelling. Lots of local bars and restaurants within a short walk. Hope to visit again soon!

It was nearly the same every day, with very minimal changes from one day to the next. In fact, 90% of the food was identical, even for breakfast, which was exactly the same throughout the entire week we stayed. On top of that, the taste of the food was not great; it felt like cafeteria food, made from the cheapest ingredients. In the snack bar and kids' food section, everything seemed to be made from frozen food, which isn't very healthy, especially for children. Another downside was the ice cream. It was only available during the main meals, while in most all-inclusive resorts, you can usually find it at the snack bar as well, which is important considering the high temperatures when you need something to cool down. The beer was okay, but the soft drinks tasted strange due to the tap water used. The alcoholic beverages and cocktails were clearly made from the cheapest spirits, and it was noticeable. A major disadvantage was that you had to pay extra for Wi-Fi and for access to the safe, and these charges were on a per-day basis. Accessibility was also a concern. If you're traveling with a young child or someone with disabilities, the access ramps are very difficult to use. There were only two water slides, and they operated for just three hours a day—two hours from 11 AM to 1 PM and one hour from 5 PM to 6 PM. Regarding room access, they only provide one key card, and if you need a second one, you have to pay for it. The entertainment was heavily geared towards French speakers, which was a big disadvantage for non-French speakers. Moreover, there seemed to be a distinction between guests, as French guests had different colored wristbands, which felt like a form of segregation. On the day of departure, they cut off our wristbands and restricted our access to the main meals, allowing only access to the snack bar. Additionally, both the hotel reception and the restaurant where we had our meals were unbearably hot, as the air conditioning was not functioning. **Positive Aspects:** The only good things I can mention are related to the accommodation itself. The room conditions were decent, and while the cleanliness wasn't the best, it wasn't terrible either. The main issue seemed to be that the hotel was understaffed, and they couldn't keep up with the demand.

Our last day today and sad to be going home, we had a little problem with our room when we arrived early hours of the morning but the reception staff sorted for us the next day. The reception staff and all staff rooms/restaurant/bar etc are all so lovely and friendly. Room which we paid for was superior but didnt match the expectation ( old, outdated, aircon not very good, we had to buy fan as well to survive until aircon cooled our room which was very late night/early morning). The resort is building by building not much greenery or garden..People at the reception, not very friendly in our case nor unfriendly just not smiley not very chatty we are used to different treating upon arrival. Entertaining ok. Food very good, choice and quality too. Beach is close, very nice. We stayed here mid june so it wasnt full, I wouldnt go there main season, must be packed by the pools, in restaurant...

We had a great week at Sol Marina Beach this summer. We loved our little apartment, sitting by the pool, playing in the splash pool, and the fabulous food. Manos and the restaurant team were amazing, especially with our daughter who is dairy-free. We enjoyed it so much we have booked to come again next summer! We can’t wait.

We spent there 9 nights and everything was great. Very friendly staff from the receptionists, to the cleaning ladies, kitchen managers, waitresses and spa ladies :) I have gluten intolerance and the kitchen manager was spoiling me with gluten free desserts every day! Also they were super accommodating towards our small baby with special food requests. The room was cleaned everyday, it was perfect. And the own beach was a highlight:) thank you 😊

We spent six nights at the hotel in a standard double room, which fell far short of what one would expect from a 4-star property. The room had an outdated, unattractive bathroom and an air-conditioning unit from the 1980s that failed to cool the space. After complaining and threatening to leave, we were upgraded to a bungalow. The bungalow was much nicer, with functional air-conditioning that made the 30-degree heat and high humidity bearable. The animation was the most disappointing aspect of our stay. It catered almost exclusively to French tourists, with activities conducted in French and even French flags prominently displayed, which felt excessive. Some of the animators were rude and poorly behaved; one even had the audacity to put out a cigarette at our table while we were eating. The kids’ club was another low point. The young staff members seemed inexperienced and ill-equipped to manage children properly. My daughter sustained multiple cuts on her neck from another misbehaving child, and the staff failed to inform us. They treated her injuries themselves and left it at that. We only learned about the incident when we picked her up. After we complained, the hotel manager issued an apology, but no further action was taken. The food was decent, with a variety of options at the buffet. However, the single restaurant serving the entire hotel led to overcrowding during peak times, which diminished the dining experience. The highlight of our stay was the hotel staff—particularly the waiters and cleaning crew. They were warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. Kudos to them for their excellent service.

My family and I were on vacation at this wonderful hotel just last week for 8 days and 9 nights, I have to say it was the best decision to choose this hotel, the facilities are very well designed for a family holiday, the kids were very happy and very enthusiastic to participate in every single kids activities. We stayed in a bungalow, The space is alright but is quite small, anyway, the terrace is wonderful and if you organise yourself well it is just alright. The animation team for kids is incredibly nice, the young girls and the boy were always too nice to my kids. The restaurant is a top food restaurant, with an amazing variety. The access to the beach is just 3 minutes walking out of the hotel, you just need to cross one outside street. But it is just alright. We are considering going back next year or even sooner if possible. I highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you, Sol Marina, for an absolutely fantastic experience. I highly recommend this resort for a family vacation in Crete. Just a short 15-minute transfer from the airport, the hotel is beautifully located on the beachfront. The premises are top-notch and offer a wide range of activities for both children and adults. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome from the hotel staff, who were well-organized, well-trained, and kept the hotel very tidy and friendly. We stayed in a beachfront room on the third floor, which offered a stunning view. I want to highlight the incredibly friendly staff, especially the hostess at the restaurant, the restaurant manager, and Eleni from the restaurant staff. They made this trip unforgettable. The food was cooked to perfection, and you could feel the love and dedication in every dish. For families wanting to enjoy the famed Greek hospitality combined with good food and great entertainment, this is the perfect place. During our stay, we booked a car and explored the island. The hotel's convenient location made it easy to visit Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. Additionally, the on-site shop and surrounding shops made it easy to pick up a few souvenirs. All in all, I definitely recommend a stay at Sol Marina. Once again, thank you to the entire team for being such incredible hosts. P.S. the bear will get a,special place at home!

The rooms must be refreshed. The cleaning Service is not the best, in one week they never cleaned the toilets and didn‘t mop the floor. The Hotel is definetly not a 5* Resort. Evi was the best Bartender in the Hotel. She is such a nice person and a little beauty :)

Booked my stay as I thought it was a 5 star hotel but it wasn’t (advertised as a 5 star). Room smelled a bit like sewage and the entire place is a little run down. The neighboring hotels looked much better. Nonetheless we made the best of it and enjoyed our time with the all inclusive amenity.

My family and I enjoyed immensely our holidays in Bella Beach Hotel! We had a spacious family room with view to the sea with comfortable beds and balcony from where we could gaze at the wonderful sunset. Mrs. Elena, the cleaning lady, did a great job cleaning our room every day. Meals were just great, this was probably the best food experience we ever had at a hotel restaurant so far! I also visited the spa and booked a massage with a young therapist there, which was really relaxing and rejuvenating. I totally recommend it! My daughter spent much of her time participating in the activities of the animation team at the pool and at the beach and had a great time with the other children there! This is the perfect hotel for family holidays by the beach: safe, easy going, hospitable, with the most dedicated, helpful and smiley personnel you will come across ever!

The hotel definitely doesn't look like a 5-star hotel. The room – nice at first glance. The bathroom could use a complete renovation. The rooms could use a thorough cleaning (there was a significant mess under the bed and in the corners), the air conditioning worked, but sometimes it had a mind of its own. The terrace door couldn't be properly locked. However, the room looked nice. The restaurant – excellent, great food, and there's something for everyone (meats, salads, fish, pasta, desserts, fruits, and just about everything you can think of). Every evening, the dinner was in a different style (Italian, Cretan, Mexican, etc.). The staff was very pleasant, and the restaurant was clean. The pool – although they take care of the pool and clean it every evening, unfortunately, the pool was slightly cloudy the entire time, and the edges of the pool could also use a cleaning. (Maybe better pool chemicals or better filtration should be used). But overall, the pool and its surroundings were very nice and pleasant. There was a bar and an afternoon restaurant by the pool. The bar offered a wide selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and they were very good – prepared by a skilled bartender. The hotel is located right by the beach. The beach was sandy and clean, with the option to use the hotel’s sun loungers and umbrellas for free. The sea in this area is very clean. Despite the fact that the hotel could use a bit of renovation or repairs, I highly recommend it, and these shortcomings are definitely balanced out by the excellent staff, location, and delicious cuisine. And you don't have to worry about getting bored at the hotel. Practically all day, from morning until night, there was some program organized in different parts of the hotel by the talented animators – beach volleyball, ping pong, guessing songs, pool exercises, etc.

The Hotel is not looking like a 5 stars hotel. The gardening is poor, bricks covering the walls are broken , it is an all included but lot of drinks are charged , very poor entertainment for children’s , no air condition in the public places like in the resultant. No water bottles given in the rooms and access to water is only in the restaurants . It is the 1st hotel world wide which is charging 3 euros per day for the safe inside the room!!!

Fantastic half term break. Choice of eateries and some fun entertainment, despite the water being unheated the pools are great fun and there’s lots of pools to choose from. The water park is great with fantastic kids section, and lots of flumes to go on, the lazy river is also a nice addition. Our room was comfy and cleaned everyday. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Drinks were good on all inclusive and the beach setting is great. Snorkels necessary as lots of shoals of fish just off the beach.

This place is perfect, especially for families. All facilities are amazing quality and if you're a tennis player or swimmer you will be extremely happy. Football fields for the soccer players, and volleyball on the beach. The only thing they need to improve is their wine selection, as it's very poor.

Such a fantastic hotel. Everything about the hotel is 10/10 the Food, Entertainment, cleanliness, drinks, activities for the kids, splash park, location we can not recommend this place enough. We extended our stay we loved it that much. We can't wait to come back next year!

We've been to the Hotel from 28.10-02.11, so not that warm, we didn't use the pools that much, but I can imagine they are frequented in the hot season. The food was absolutely delicious. People there are very nice. All in all we are happy with our stay. MINUS POINTS, though I won't be rating less than 5 stars, is that the hotel, huge as it is, doesn't have their own sauna, the one there needs you to make an appointment, and no jacuzzi, like I said, there were days it was cold and a jacuzzi could do the trick. Last but not least: to the lady at the reception desk, who gave me HER OWN PAD when I was in need, a big THANK YOU and another - for the hotel, why don't you have such things stored somewhere. Women may need help, and the hotel should be able to provide women hygiene products in such cases. You may not like my opinion, but if I pay that much money for a 5 day stay, I have some expectations. But, as said above, I'm very happy with my stay.

Very disappointed with the rooms...a dormitory hotel...the rooms are not clean...very poorly maintained...uncomfortable beds worthy of a prison...very dilapidated...having traveled quite a bit my family and for me the first time that we are so disappointed with a hotel especially in relation to Marmara... we did not have the choice of the hotel in relation to the travel agency (all the French being grouped within of this establishment) but really very disappointed hotel to completely redo!!!! The disgusting drinks!!!! From the fleet!!!! We are really making fun of the world! However, thank you to the staff who are trying to adapt with the new restrictions! I would in no way recommend this establishment in terms of the food...the room...the service...not worthy of a 4 star!
