**Hotel Review** I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel and I couldn't be happier with my experience! I would definitely rate it five stars. The beach is absolutely stunning, making it a perfect spot for families to enjoy. However, I should mention that the waves can be quite strong, so it might not be the best for little ones. The rooms were impeccably clean, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious, although the selection was somewhat limited, it was always fresh and tasty. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for a couple getaway, and I highly recommend it!

occidental is a great resort it is My second time here and It never disappoints. between the resort, the entertainers, the food, and the people here it's amazing. The entertainer coco is excellent he makes the experience enhanced while you are here along with the rest of the team.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at the Occidental Caribe. This was my 5th time in Punta Cana, first time at this resort. This resort is pretty big. You will get your steps in. The resort is very pretty on the outside. Keep in mind this resort is 25 years old. The rooms need A LOT of TLC. The bathrooms are dated and dirty. The buffets were not the best. I would recommend the pool side grill for lunch, or the Pizzeria. The pizza was outstanding. You can find something on the buffet to tickle your fancy, but don't expect to be wowed. This resort is located on the Atlantic Ocean side, so expect a lot of wind and somewhat rough water. The best description for this resort is POTENTIAL. It is beautiful and offers excellent guest service, but many things need to be improved.

Love the country. I really enjoyed the hotel, but the highlight of my trip was definitely the animation team! This guys are hilarious 🤣 mama Inma was so nice with me and my family, she is the reason why I’m coming back! They made my trip so fun and unique. See you in sept family ❤️

The beach and pools were great, but the room was not clean—there was mold in the corners. The restaurants were very busy, and I was only able to get a reservation for one restaurant on one night. We were told the others were fully booked. Don’t fall for the claim that they have six restaurants; it’s misleading you are not going to be able to enjoy them.

Rooms are very nice here, large and cleaned regularly. Food is okay, not out of this world. We found the asian restaurant was good and others not as much. Buffet was very decent. Juices and mixed drinks are quite artificial and sweet and liquor served not overly expensive. Service is reasonable but since there are a lot of languages spoken here (mainly Spanish English and a french) the staff did not always comprehend the requests. The beach is gorgeous but hard to find chairs. But otherwise you can walk the beach for miles here to different resorts. Clean water , nice waves, well packed down sand and not much seaweed and nasty stuff. Overall we had a lovely vacation.

We had an amazing time celebrating my friends birthday here! The food is delicious, rooms are big, so many pools you don’t even know where to end up! The staff are amazing, spaghetti looking after us, the bar always topping up drinks, Senior Egg Man is the cutest a in the world. Right by the Beach. Only problem is people taking sun beds early as having to spend time to hunt it down.

We just got home from 4 nights in Paradise!! From the start the staff made our stay amazing! Danny at the front desk really helped answer all our questions and showed us the ropes for our first all inclusive experience! The beach was amazing as we're the pools. The Mexican restaurant and steakhouse were the best meals. I was a huge fan of the buffet, but the omlettes and fresh fruit were great. Would absolutely return.

Had an absolutely wonderful time with my sister. Everyone at the resort was so kind, the rooms and the resort in general were super clean. The food was delicious. We ended up upgrading to the royal level which was so worth it. We did not stay in a royal room but that did not bother us at the standard room was wonderful. We ate at the royal restaurant, the seafood restaurant, steakhouse and buffet and everything was excellent. Definitely would love to go back at some point.

Overall experience was alright, but would not be revisiting. The rooms were clean, however the shower kept on flooding and we weren’t given enough towels. Also, the phone in our room did not work. The food was decent but the service was terrible at the buffet, we barely had any service and had to go get our own drinks. The wifi at the resort was absolutely terrible, could barely get service besides in the room. The beach was fairly small considering the size of the resort but beach was well kept. When returning my towels to get towel cards on the last day, one of the workers cornered me into writing a 5 star review for them before giving me the towel card. They even proceeded to let the people behind me get towel cards.

This is the worst vacation that could have been. The beach looks beautiful, but when you go into the water, you step on the stones. It is impossible to go into the water without shoes. It is simply terrible. People walk slowly so as not to get hurt. There is nothing to do with small children on the beach at all. The food at the resort caused stomach upset. And not only us. Everyone we asked had the same thing. The toilets on the beach did not flush for several hours at all. Also, the water in the rooms was also gone. Good shows in the evening. Good cafe with delicious coffee. But your health is undermined. Imagine that in the corridors and bathrooms they put laminate on top of the tiles. Shock! The water gives off an unpleasant smell. In our room, the balcony was painted when we were on the beach, and my son was in the room. The smell of paint! Nothing, relax. I do not advise anyone to go here. Under no circumstances. Just not here!!!

I will get straight to the point. My experience wasn’t the best. The service slightly average. Teenager ran the place and no one cared. My friends neighbor played music all night when we signed a paper stating we wouldn’t. It was reported and nothing was done. I cut both my feet on the beach. Will I return probably not. The room was beautiful and the view was nice with the swim up pool.

Very not bad resort. Food might be more different with more seafood and fruits, but in general we liked it. Never been hungry or not happy with place. We came to have vacation next to the sea and we did! thank you!

Very nice all-inclusive in LA Romana. The VIP package was worth the money. We didn't wait in lines for check in. Had exclusive restaurants that were top notch. The VIP pool was quiet and smaller than the regular one but had better drinks. The beach had WAY too many rocks so I would suggest water shoes. Typical shows and activities for this type of resort. Great service for the most part. Loved their coffee shop. The drive from Sto Dmgo airport is about 2 hours.

Great grounds! Well kept and clean. Not a big resort: 5-7 min walk from main lobby to the beach. Rooms are average (and we had the SunClub upgrade) Food is average, not much of a selection. Went to Mexican restaurant one night: had to wait for the food for and hour, portions were microscopic, left hungry, had to go to main buffet. Lots of activities through the day. If planning to swim in the ocean - bring water shoes: there's lots of stones underwater when you enter, if planning to snorkel - also bring water shoes: there's lots of sea urchins on the rocks. Beach is amazing Beach beds are usually reserved early in the morning. Be careful on the water slides in the water park - make sure your arms don't touch the walls. Didn't use any of the pools, so can't say much about them There's a local souvenir market to the right of the resort along the beach Jose, our butler, was amazing, all issues were resolved in minutes.
