Simply superb! We've visited Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria twice: first shortly after its opening in 2023, and again in November 2024. During our first stay, a few adjustments were still needed, but a year later, the service is flawless! A huge THANK YOU to Marta from Guest Experience for her kindness, smile, and dedication, which made our stay truly special. The quality of the food, room cleanliness, service, and activities for both children and adults were all perfect. We highly recommend Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria, and have even decided to return but this time to celebrate our wedding 😊

We had the pleasure of staying at Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria in Dec 2024 and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional service, setting the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Although not an adult only hotel, there are enough adult only areas to access and as it was low season, most children there were baby’s or toddlers
The rooms are spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. I stayed in a regular room which was immaculately clean and well-equipped. They clean the room twice a day so on your return from dinner you have clean towels again
The hotel offers a variety of dining options that cater to every palate. We enjoyed the A la Carte restaurants, with standout dishes that showcase local ingredients. The buffet restaurant also offers a wide selection of fresh and flavourful meals but I would ask that the chef who cooks steaks there learns the difference between the levels of cooking for steaks, regardless of how we ordered, the steaks were always too rare.
The staff at Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria are incredibly friendly and attentive and really made our stay very very comfortable and relaxed, nothing was ever too much trouble, whether it was at reception, the restaurants, or the pools, everyone went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and well taken care of.
I would like to mention in particular Rita & Raquel both restaurant supervisors (give Raquel a fulltime contract) Idaira the receptionist and finally both Alejandro and Jonathon in Ginger Bar
Overall, my stay at Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria was absolutely wonderful. It offers the perfect blend of relaxation, luxury, and entertainment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier resort experience in Gran Canaria.

Great hotel, everything was perfect. The facilities and rooms are modern and very clean.
The staff was great. The food was good and plentiful. The big plus was that the beach was right next to the hotel.
The hotel is suitable for both adults and families with children.
We will definitely come again!

Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to ALL staff at this amazing hotel. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel extra special it was amazing how every member of staff was with my 1 year old daughter.
We had a small issue with our room that was very quickly rectified and we were very grateful how it was resolved which led to us continuing to enjoy our stay.
I want to say a huge thank you to Jamie in Kanna for making some amazing cocktails and making us all feel so welcome. Also the whole staff in Kanna were GREAT with my daughter again making us all feel extra special and this way by far our favourite restaurant at the hotel.
Carla and Sergio in Guest Relations were amazing helping us with bookings for restaurants when times weren’t available in the app and making recommendations for things to do during the day.
The pool bar was great for a quick bite to eat and refreshments throughout the day.
I have not a bad word to say about this hotel and very much look forward to our return very soon!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are lovely, the food not so much.
We were incredibly happy during the first couple of days of our stays, until we had an issue with our room. The toilet leaked and the smell was awful. We were offered the possibility to change rooms or keep ours and wait for the issue to be fixed the next day. When we asked if it would be possible to upgrade the room, the lady at reception offered us a lower standard room under the guise of an upgrade, we declined the room and opted for the same standard. The room we moved to had a bad smell, so we asked to have it cleaned again whilst we were out. Upon returning and entering the room we found that the staff had sprayed an abundance of air freshener on the curtains and no amount of airing out would lessen the smell. In the end we asked for our original room back- having decided the toilet was more bearable than the nauseating amount of air freshener.
The food was poor- only one of the restaurants was up to par, the rest (including the signature restaurant that is advertised as a Michelin star chef curated) were mediocre. We advise avoiding ordering from the “enhanced” menu- we ordered twice (at an additional cost)- both times the food received was raw (in one of the cases a dish was also overcooked and so salty that it was near impossible to tell what was in it- only once did we get offered a refund.
Besides this I can say that the staff was absolutely lovely, everyone was helpful, smiling and welcoming. The staff are what makes this hotel above average when it comes to service.
