This hotel was pretty much what we expected after reading reviews. We are currently here just into the second week of our stay.
It was downgraded to a three star after we had booked which was slightly disappointing but we kept an open mind.
You basically get what you pay for with this being at the cheaper end for all inclusive for this destination at this time of year.
We are a family of 9 with ages ranging from 54 to 2 years old.
The hotel consists of two buildings. Amantis 1 and 2 situated across the road from each other. The Amantis 1 is the nicer of them with beachfront location and nicer rooms. I believe you can upgrade on arrival depending on availability and a charge per person per night. We didn’t feel this necessary as we would only be using our rooms for sleeping. Rooms are very basic but maid service comes daily with clean sheets and towels.
As with most all inclusive the food can start to become a bit repetitive but we found it is literally the same options almost every day but quite a good selection. Problems we found a lot of the time the hot selections are often not very warm at all.
Snack bar however is very good. Excellent service and the guy serving is so quick and very friendly lovely guy.
Free ice creams were either cornetto or magnum style which we thought was very good. Drinks all good as well.
Both pools are very good only problem is the mad dash to get the beds joining the queue at 9.30 for when they open the pools at 10am. If you’re not there you simply will not get a bed so do bear that in mind. Both pool bars are good but I imagine they will get very busy peak season.
Location is brilliant for this hotel. Everything is right there including shops, bars, restaurants and the beach with the small pier directly behind the hotel where you can catch the water taxi across the bay for just 5 Euros each way.
Evening entertainment is actually good fun to be fair, we saw flamenco dancers, magicians, bingo, quizzes, disco and singers and karaoke.
All in all a pleasant stay. Hotel could do with some redecoration and do also bear in mind that there are a lot of young party people staying here so you have to put up with some noise during the night which we thought was annoying and can disturb your sleep but to be expected with where it is I suppose. I think if you have young children you may want to take this into consideration. Luckily the 2 year old we have is a good sleeper so she managed to sleep through it.
Views are lovely across the bay and personally all the good points outweighed the bad here.

It was alright, food had some good days and some days that didn't suit me. I think if they did the little things like clean the pool, plus stay on top of things they could possiblymove up a star, but its the simple things that can do that, went to get some breakfast and there wasn't a single clean dinner plate, I asked the cook for a plate who then asked one of the cleaning ladies to get me a plate in Spanish, the cleaner said ok and just went back to mopping the floor and ignored me, so I just left, pool tables need updated, room could do with updating as well, for all it would take could give the hotel a 🌟

We were definitely pleasantly surprised by this hotel! For the star rating and price we paid, it definitely exceeded our expectations!
The rooms are very basic, but have everything that you need. The only down side was the beds only being twins and not a double. Other than that, the aircon was brilliant, always clean with fresh bedding and towels every day, balcony with a good view and plenty of space to put our stuff.
We were all inclusive and honestly we loved the food here. There wasn’t a single day where we were disappointed. There were lots of options, different themes in the evenings, the staff in the food hall were always so friendly and polite.
The pool areas were really good too, we particularly liked the one with the ‘chill out’ area as the beds were so comfy and both pool areas had a bar too!
The staff were always so helpful, polite, nothing was ever too much trouble (extra pillows, first aid kit, directions, etc) and as we had a late flight they provided snacks for when we arrived.
Loads of options for drinks on the all inclusive too like cocktails, spirits, slushes, soft drinks, different coffees, anything you could want really!
The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for us! There’s a strip of bars, shops and restaurants right next to it, bus stops 3 and 7 minutes walk away to go to the old town and San Antonio, different beach options at walking distance and you could literally see the sunset from wherever you were. It was amazing!
Will 100% be returning to this hotel, we were so sad to leave!!

We are here now and are very pleased with the hotel. Booked last minute as a cheap weeks break and I'm so pleased we did. Arrived hotel lunchtime room was ready at 3pm. Spacious clean plenty wardrobe space . Bath with shower over . Hairdryer & toiletries. Twin beds . Nice & clean . No complaints. We are in hotel 1 on the seafront. Restaurant gets busy but quickly served and all nice food . I'm picky and I've enjoyed everything so far . Lovely chips 🍟. We are late risers but have gotten a spot in the chill out area easily . Shaped sunloungers and balanese beds . It's peaceful and pleasant right on seafront. Token for your glass and it works well . Again can be ques at bar but quickly served. Lots of cocktails and ice cream cornets on all Inc. Carlos on bar is extremely popular but all the staff are helpful and pleasant when you speak to them . The location is perfect. Boat taxi outside if you want to pop over the bay and right next to the beach. Plenty of shops at the front of hotel for all your needs. Its a 3 star so not luxurious but its certainly worth what we payed . I'd gladly stay here again and would recommend it . We are aged 58 & 64 and usually go 4 or 5 star. This is a little extra break and we are enjoying our stay.
