We visiting in the Easter holidays a few days ago, and can't fault this hotel. The staff were really hospitable, the hotel was very clean and tidy – nicely designed and well organised. One pool was heated (shallow one for kids swimming) unfortunately the kids play pool was too cold but our kids (2 + 6yrs) had a great time in the other pool anyway.
We took a penthouse with hot tub – lovely views, completely private, huge terrace to relax on when the kids were asleep.
A la carte restaurants were fantastic, brilliant food all included in our half board.
Kids club was fun, our eldest went a few times and really enjoyed herself. Included horse riding on a Friday, couldn't fault it!

This is the first time visiting this hotel, I travelled with my young family and husband.
Firstly as soon as you enter the main foyer you get a sense of immediate relaxation, the reception staff were exceptional and welcoming. We had booked to stay half board, but our flight was landing late which meant we would miss dinner that night. As I was travelling with small children I was worried there would be no food for them on arrival so contacted the hotel in advance to advise them of this, and they said they could prepare cold meal. I was therefore expecting a sandwich but was overwhelmed when I saw a section of fruits, yogurts (kid friendly choices), juices, salads etcs, it was so very kind of the kitchen to prepare this for us.
We booked the family suite, which had TV's in both rooms, the beds are spacious and space is well designed, (USB/C charging ports), lights in the fitted wardrobe units) and a huge shower and comfy lounge seating. What I also liked was there was loads of light, and just little details like a portable mirror and a hairdryer - where the adaptor nozzle wasn't missing was so super! We had a view of the spectacular nature reserve and mountains which felt we was almost transported somewhere so tranquil and serene.
The breakfast selection is probably one of the most varied selection I have had at a hotel, the food is fresh and kitchen staff work tirelessly to make sure guests have the food they request, the buffet was constantly replenished. The dinner was the same, there was plenty of options for all tastebuds and lots of vegetarian, meat, and fish options.
We visited in April so used the heated pool which was a perfect temperature for the kids. All of the other pools and facilities are spotlessly clean and the gym is amazing. There is a spa but I didn't see it or get a chance to use it - it is a chargeable extra fyi.
In the evening we took the children to the mini disco and they loved it, the family entertainment in the evening is also great - there was a Bruno Mars impersonator, who attended one night (i'm no Bruno fan btw) but he was so entertaining and talented my three year old stayed dancing until 10:30pm as did all the guests there. The animation team are genuinely lovely, full of energy and make you feel so welcome.
The location is great, and the beach is just opposite the resort and is beautiful. I have stayed in many hotels/reports internationally but Printsol have really gone that extra mile with making us have such a wonderful stay. Thank you everyone, I could keep writing about how amazing our stay was and hope to come back again next year.

Overall a fantastic family hotel in Playa de Muro, although not beach front.
PROS:
- beautiful complex with lots of palms, pools and seating options
- very modern suites with large bathrooms, big TVs, Nespresso coffee machine and huge terrace (the whirlpool is worth the upgrade) - just the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable
- playground is small, but high quality as well as the kids/baby play pool (not heated, although one other family pool is heated)
- the staff across all departments was very friendly and housekeeping did a solid job
CONS:
- our biggest and almost only complaint is the food. We were disappointed by the low variety and few really fresh options. 10 days in a row they basically just offered cut pineapple and honey melon
- the next day it was clear which food was from previous day
- during our stay before seasons closure some items like honey, waffles as well as kids bowls were not available anymore
- somehow in general no big bowls exist in the hotel? So even as adult you have to eat all kinds of pastas from a normal flat plate?
- service was always friendly and efficient
- the entire dessert buffet consists of frozen and way too sweet cakes while the self-service ice cream wasn’t frozen enough
- outdoor seating is only for PrinsoClub members
- reception staff during 2 checkouts never asked how our stay was (same with restaurant manager)

Prinsotel La Dorada is a wonderful place to stay in Alcudia. The staff are welcoming, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the pool area is fantastic with plenty of loungers. The dining options are excellent, and the location near the beach is ideal. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Great experience. A very family friendly resort, with very decent food buffet for all the meals. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness wise was spotless.
Only cons maybe is limited private parking, but plenty available right next to. Kids activities are focused on 4+, so a bit more limited for below 4, but that's pretty normal.
Overall a place to repeat (we have been in September and was far from crowded).
