We loved our stay here.
Rooms are beautiful and spacious. The breakfast is incredible and lots of choice.
Dinner was okay, lots of food but I rather go to nearby restaurants, food there tastes better.
The pools are great and the Spa is very clean.
Customer service was outstanding.
We had two little kids with us and enjoyed the stay very much.
The gorgeous beach is just 3min walk.

The hotel is so lovely! We were 4 persons (2 adults and 2 teenagers) staying in a Family suite and wow what a room! So spacious and modern and the huge balcony is amazing. Great with two king size beds so even the kids could sleep comfy. Always very nice cleaned too.
The pools are very good and since no one ever reserve sun beds there are always free sun beds whenever you need them during the day.
Food is excellent, great variety and very well cooked.
Location is perfect just one block from the beach and with lots of shops around and also easy to get a parking space.
I read that someone else said not to get a room with sea views because of the nosy road but the balcony door is soundproof so that is not a problem.

A really nice hotel, just a short walk from the beach! Really appreciated all the little touches like the rose petals which was a lovely surprise during honeymoon.
Didn’t get a chance to try all the facilities but the spa and pool looked nice and there were plenty of options to choose from for breakfast.

The suite room on the fifth floor was very spacious and had a wonderful view from the terrace, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety, but I was concerned about the musty smell around the toilet. I would have been happier if the room had amenities such as slippers, toothbrushes and skincare.

I enjoyed my staying at Las Gaviotas. The location is very good, the staff is welcoming and the overall experience in this hotel was positive. However, when I booked this hotel through their website I got the wrong impression. This was supposed to be a place of relaxation, a “joy for resting well” as they stated on the site. It turns out not to be the case. This hotel is a family resort like many others but with a slightly more sophisticated look - you’ll have the children’s screams in the pools, the buffet dinner with kids running around and the noisy sound of parents trying to hush their children. There’s nothing wrong with that but for the experience you can certainly get the same for cheaper. Another downsides: no complementary tea or coffee in the room, the lobby is cold and there isn’t any lounging area.
