We really loved our stay at Torre Velha. It was quite what we expected for the price and the previous reviews. The quiet location near the beach was marvelous, staff was absolutely amazing and service was all in all very good. Drinks and food by the bar were very affordable and again for the price, surprisingly tasty. With small changes the room would've gotten a better rating from us. There was very little counter and storage space, which caused a chaos with all of our stuff trying to fit in on the one table. There was a hanger for clothes but no closets or shelves. With a bit of effort the room would've been nicer, it was kinda cold and plain and not very cozy. There were very few outlets, our beddings weren't changed the whole week and sadly a fleet of ants ate some of our food and occupied our luggage. Ear plugs are a necessity if you're a light sleeper, since the doors are very light and the other guests pound their doors very loudly. If you're looking for a friendly place and just a room to sleep in with no extra glamour, this is the one for you! 😊

We’ve spent amazing time here! Service is amazing! 5 minute walk to the ocean. Very taste restaurant with great prices! And cool swimming pool! Thanks to all people who works here, you all made our vacation unbearable! We will come back for sure!

fabulous place and by the amount of people returning year after year confirms it, food and drinks very well priced and incredibly comfy bed, it a 2 star hotel and didnt expect much but this place over delivered and more, booking again for next year, thank you torre velha for a wonderful holiday.

Very good hotel. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely atmosphere and very good location. You can hire a car from next door for very cheap. Come to Scooby’s for the best breakfast 10am-12pm. Also the pool at the hotel is very clean and just the right size.
