Still on holiday here, 4 weeks. Still won’t want to leave when time comes.
Ideal place for us, food is varied enough and most of it is delicious.
Awesome views and location is between both centres, easily walkable, but free shuttle bus to centre 3 times a day.
Choice for swimming is great, indoor or both large and small pools with a child’s splash pond, in addition to the sea. Which I found to be warmer, though it’s not stopped me swimming a good distance daily.
For slightly accessible needs, many lifts around to place to avoid the steps, with slopes on site where necessary.
All Staff whether reception, housekeeping, restaurant, bar and entertainment are professional and helpful.
Will hopefully return in the near future.

The BEST value/price hotel in the Albufeira region!
The staff were absolutely brilliant: Helena, Carla, Jess and Ana at the front desk (in order of meeting) have all been wonderful, welcoming and really went above and beyond to make our stay magical.
We had a huge room with two balconies, beautiful sea views, a fridge and a powerful shower.
The breakfast was extremely well stocked, varied and delicious, in a gorgeous glass veranda with ocean, swimming pool and palm tree views.
The indoor heated pool is a bit small but was a welcoming bonus during the winter month!
Overall, our stay was so fantastic that we extended it from 1 to 5 nights and are coming straight back to Auramar after our Algarve tour!

Cannot recommend highly enough!
I would love to say everything is perfect but there are tiny things that could be tweaked to make it perfect, however it is by a distance the best 3 star we have stayed at.
The food is great and better than a lot of 4 star hotels, can't fault it. So much selection at all three meal times which should keep everyone happy.
The room could do with updating however given the resort is three star you really can't complain. The house keeping staff even seen it was my fiance's birthday and left a bottle of bubbly in the room which was a lovely gesture. Could not ask for a better view from the balcony.
The resort facilities are good, nice clean pool with lots of sun loungers (these could do with upgrading) lots of things to keep boredom at bay. The animations team are amazing in particular Mauricio who made us all feel so welcome and always made time to check how we are without forcing games on us.
Every member of staff at the resort is a credit to the company, everyone is so friendly. Keep up the amazing work!

Hotel was built in 1967 and it shows. The furniture in the rooms looks original very tired and broken. Hard uncomfortable single beds pushed together.
Cheap price only £43 for room with 2 breakfasts per night November 2024.
But, cheap price attracts cheap clients...loud drunk people on first night woke me up at 4.30am.
We were lucky to have sea view but lots of rooms had a view of other blocks.
Kettle...hair dryer...iron and board not in room kept at reception to collect. Fridge in room useful. Deposit required upon arrival of €10 for your room key...that for me was a tell tell sign straight away of the sort of place we had booked.
They also wanted the receipt upon checkout to get our €10 back so be careful not to throw that away.
We love the Algarve and have stayed for many years, but this hotel put a black cloud on our 10 day holiday, wouldn't book again.

Extremely disappointing experience
Our stay at this hotel was far below expectations. The photos online are completely misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the property.
Main issues:
Mold in the bathroom: The bathroom is in terrible condition, with visible mold everywhere – absolutely unacceptable.
Old furniture and rust: The room is extremely outdated, with old, worn-out furniture and rusted fixtures.
Unpleasant odor: There is a constant bad smell in the room and throughout the hotel, making it very uncomfortable to stay.
Water leakage during rain: Whenever it rained, water was leaking everywhere, practically flooding the room.
This was a deeply disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
