My first and certainly not my last visit to this splendid hotel! The grounds were impressively well designed and maintained. Dream-like pools were clean and spacious. The kids had a blast playing in the children's area and using the slides. Excellent adventures all day long. Lounge areas inside the hotel were perfect for relaxing and if you chose the outdoors lounging areas, you had ample options surrounding the pools. This hotel is perfect for families and friends to enjoy delicious Greek and international dishes at the buffet. Entertainment is top-notch! My favourite experience is the genuine and helpful staff that strive to make Atlantica Ocean Beach Resort awesome in every way!

We had the absolute best holiday here and we would return again in a heartbeat. We did visit this hotel just before their refurb so my review may be slightly outdated.
The rooms in this hotel would not comfortably suit a family of 4. We had 2 main hotel rooms with a sea view. One of our daughters shared a room with her Grandparents, and our other daughter shared a room with myself and my Husband. There was not enough room for 4 people to fit comfortably in one. If you have more than 3 people I would recommend booking 2 rooms. The rooms were basic at the time but if I'm being totally honest, we were barely in them as the hotel is beautiful and we wanted to make the most of it. The balconies are small and fit 2 people maximum on them. However, if you have a sea view room, the view is breathtakingly beautiful.
The hotel is stunning, it's very clean and well kept. You often seen cleaners around the hotel and you can see it is well looked after. All the cleaners always said hello and were more than friendly.
When looking for holidays, one thing we had to consider were things to keep our eldest daughter entertained as she is neurodiverse and needs to constantly be doing something. The water slides provided her with hours of entertainment. The pool has 3 different pools which you can swim fully round all with different depths. She would spend hours in the pool and then once her mind needed to do something different, she would then be entertained going down the slides for hours. You never really have to queue for the slides as they move so fast. All the lifeguards had a wonderful sense of humour at the top of the slides.
We would go to the beach in the afternoon and spend some time in the sea. There are lots of little fish swimming around, so make sure you take some goggles with you to see them as they were so pretty.
Sunbeds - a lot of people would get up at the crack of dawn to secure their beds. It's totally unnecessary. The day we arrived at the hotel we got there at 2AM. There was a man coming out of the lift to put his towels down. So yes, it happens, but we went to get our beds at 9 am every morning when we went for breakfast, and we always managed to locate 4 bed sunbeds. We would have to grab them from different locations to put together, but there were plenty there.
The food was insanely good. They always had different themed food nights, so if you're staying for 2 weeks, there was always a great selection of different foods to try. I can honestly say this is the nicest food I have ever had in an all-inclusive hotel before. They do a separate table for the kids with more common foods such as spaghetti bolognaise, chips, etc, if you have fussy eaters. They do have allergen warnings on the food. However, if you are considering this hotel for allergies, I would say it's easy for cross contamination as guests use the same spoons to serve themselves different dishes. However, the kitchen staff may be able to dish some freshly made from the kitchen.
The entertainment team was poor. They often had exercise around the pool in the day and they were fabulous with guests but the evening entertainment was very poor and the hotel do need to invest more money in to this area.
There is also an arcade area down by the beach. We didn't use this, but we would often see a lot of kids in there making the most of it.
There is a spa included in the hotel. Again, this is not a facility we used as we had young kids to be looking after, but it did look lovely in there.
There is a shop just across the road from the hotel that provides all your essentials. I would recommend this shop over the shop in the hotel. There isn't anything directly next to the hotel to visit other than the shop across the road but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you straight to the next town. We didn't do this as we only stayed a week but we would see a lot of people taking trips out.
I would 100000% recommend this holiday for a family holiday, especially if you have a child who needs that little bit extra than just the pool. X

Renovated to a good standard, good equipment. Delicious food. Clean. Professional and very helpful service. Own beach with small pebbles and dark sand. Away from the city, but close to the road, petrol station. Rental on site. Many rooms with sea view

We have been coming here regularly since 2004. This place is excellent, great friendly and helpful staff, great selection of food with various spacious areas for dining.
In fact since we last came a couple of years ago there has been a change to what was already an excellent holiday experience by way of a renovation to rooms, services and eating and drinking places.
The new Greek restaurant was superb, the food was amazing in a great atmosphere.
If you haven’t tried here I can highly recommend it, brilliant!

I don’t recommend this hotel for one reason: you’ll be informed about a tax during check-out, and you might not be prepared for it — it’s €100. It was stated that breakfast would be prepared for those leaving early, but in reality, there was only stale bread in the restaurant, not even a bottle of water. Overall, the service at the hotel was far from pleasant, which really spoils the experience, especially the reception staff.
