Fantastic hotel in a great beautiful silent spot — service was fantastic and food was yummy. Water was clean and gorgeous! The only thing is that the hotel is old and you can feel it in some places, but they keep it very very clean and well maintained, so you don't even feel the age. In a way it even gives a magical special vibe here. Overall I loved it.

A cute and quiet family run hotel. Service was spectacular. Rooms were great- all the amenities you need with a Spanish charm.
Food and drinks were really good. We did not do the breakfast buffet, but the lunch by the pool and the patio was delicious.
You will need to rent a car if you want to travel. We rented a car through the hotel and explored the island.
Leaving with sadness! Loved our time here

Wonderful staff, very attentive.
Great terrace for evening drinks and light lunches. Breakfast is good quality and good selection. (Coffee could be better)
Rooms are well appointed though traditional, also attracting a somewhat older crowd.
Location is great and quiet spot at the end of a road. Small but very scenic beach. Restaurants are bit scarce in walking distance, though the nearby town has more options. The most visited beaches and sights are more than a hours drive, you’ll need a car.

Beautiful setting directly by the sea! The rooms are very simple and in my opinion not a 4 star standard. The bed was a bit worn out and furniture quite old. I think it’s a good 3 star choice and the pictures are a bit deceiving. Hotel staff is super friendly and service is very efficient. Rooms are super clean and the pool terrace is beautiful. I booked a sea view room and had to insist on it. They tried to give me a no view, then limited sea view until I finally got the full sea view. Also the cleaning starts at 7:30am which can be noisy and the walls are paper thin - you can hear all your neighbors! Overall, I would have expected a more comfortable room with a good bed for a 4 star hotel ….

Our 2nd trip to Hotel Cala Fornells and we’ve departed longing to return again.
Situated steps from a beautiful bay, the hotel occupies an enviable position for breathtaking views in the most relaxing and beautiful surroundings.
All the staff are wonderfully friendly and hard working. Our welcome from Catalina was very special, as returning guests we were treated to a lovely message and bottle of Cava, all set up, ready to enjoy in our room.
Beds are importantly super comfy and there’s great aircon & quality toiletries. The rooms certainly deliver on offering the all-important ‘room with a view’ – Stunning!
The hotel itself has been maintained to retain a very special charm making you feel both at ease and impressed by its styling and atmosphere.
The food quality was great and both breakfast and dinner offered an array of fresh and well-presented choices. We liked the option to order an al a carte choice for main course at dinner.
We also enjoyed lovely options for lunch, both on the terrace and at the pool bar.
Finally the rooftop terrace and pool area – just fabulous for relaxing and being in awe of the wonderful view. The sea in this pretty cala is crystal clear and a turquoise blue.
A minor detail and perhaps just our personal choice, but the only little thing we’d mention is that we’d of appreciated the option to order a larger bottle of water in the restaurant and bars and perhaps a small courtesy bottle in the room each evening and not just on arrival.
Thank you hotel Cala Fornells for a wonderful stay – We will see you again!
