OK, a few minor issues , then it's all good.
Rooms , small , 2 single beds pushed together .mattress on both are I think new ? They were as hard as the floor , some people may like this , we didn't.
Other than that , room was fine .
Hotel has a small pool ( inside spa and pool available, steam room etc ) with ( in September ) ample sun beds .
Clean and tidy with bar staff wandering around taking orders for drinks and food .( cash or charge to room, no cards taken)
Drinks and food were exactly the same prices as the bars in the area, so no massive mark up .
Staff were great , speaking more languages than the average English man knew existed .
The hotel is a few streets away from the main bar and beach area , absolutely perfect placement , it's surrounded by residential buildings so the evening entertainment stops at 10 pm weekdays .
If you like German football ...this is the place for you , it's on the bar TV all the time 😀

Our trip away was the first holiday we had together since pre pandemic.
Firstly, staff are unkind, unwelcoming and rude. They are not service orientated at all.
We were charged at an £100 when we checked in and were given no explanation for this and still fighting this now. The receptionist when we checked in was incredibly rude and refused to answer our question when we asked why we’re being charged an extra £100 on arrival. Quite frankly disgusting.
Throughout the stay I tried speaking to get to the bottom of this and nothing was being answered, simply ignored. The worst possible hotel/staff experience we have ever had. Still awaiting a refund. I have held off on writing this review as everything was so awful.
Please consider carefully before staying here.

The staff, except for the maids, is quite unfriendly towards you. I had a particularly negative experience with the waiters in the hotel restaurant. A thin, middle-aged man with slicked-back hair is perhaps the most unpleasant person I have met on vacation, and because of him, I no longer eat in the hotel restaurant. I am definitely not coming back here again.

To all considering staying in this hotel, please listen to all negative reviews. We have given the benefit of the doubt staying in this hotel for 10 days. Rookie mistake. The rooms are small, yes, but big enough for a young couple.
You‘d think you could at least use up the whole closet, but nope, the third „wing“ is not to be opened - a complete waste of space.
A lot of guests complaining about the music until late in the night, but luckily we didn’t hear any of that even if we had a room in the back building and ground floor with a „view“ to the touristy shopping street.
The beds are *extremely* hard and the 1,5 cm thick toppers are a laughing matter especially since I have two disc hernias.
Didn’t get one night of good sleep, which is for me a wasted vacation.
Regardless, the food at the breakfast and dinner buffet was amazing. The cooking staff always in a good mood and very friendly.
The service staff at the buffet is ok, not the friendliest but they do their job, with an exception of one young lady who was always friendly with us.
The staff at the bar amazing, I recommend you try the cocktail „Star“.
We didn’t use the pool at all, since the beach is literally 5 min away from the hotel, so cant review that, but from my perspective it didn’t seem the cleanest.
The reception was probably very annoyed with us with our basic requests, such as the bed topper, cleaning the room as the housekeeping failed to do it a couple of times even if we didn’t hang a „no“ sign outside. Speaking of which, when the housekeeping „cleaned“ the room, it left us in a complete misery. The bed was made, but the sheets were only exchanged on our 8th!! day of stay, where it should be a basic service to do it after max. 5 days (as a norm at each hotel I have worked at myself). There are no handwash dispensers, only a basic soap, which honestly without a soap holder that is not made of paper doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.
My partner got sick on the 7th day and I went to seek help at the reception. The receptionist seemed confused and sent us to the near ambulance, since the only doctors nearby are a private praxis and we didn’t have international insurance (highly recommend you disclose one). Nice of him to call us a taxi. Well, we arrived at the ambulance and we were unkindly greeted by non english/german speaker and the only nurse in the shift who could speak english. She said we should’ve gone to the hospital, which makes sense if you know there would be one. 7€ wasted on a taxi. The receptionist ordered us a taxi again to the hospital. Thanks, should’ve done it the first round.
Anyways, if you don’t care about cleanliness that much (I do), hard beds and all around „eh“ experience than this is a hotel for you.
I was looking forward to going home so I can finally get some rest for the little vacation days I have left. 👎🏻

Staff very helpful, food is excellent, but unfortunately the area is not the most beautiful part of the island.
