Top class hotel with very friendly service. High attention to cleanliness in rooms and common areas. Delicious and varied food. Our attention was also drawn to the peace and quiet thanks to the location of the hotel. Always available sunbeds both by the pool and on the beach. I recommend it with all my heart.

We had a one week family holiday at this hotel and it was absolutely lovely. As we arrived we got a free room upgrade and at the end of our stay we got free late checkout as well. The hotel is clean, (they clean the rooms twice a day) and quiet. Besides the musicians at night, not a whisper reached our room. The cuisine is exceptional. They always label the gluten free, lactose free and vegan options. The shore is clean, and although its rocky, its really nice. The staff was always kind and helpful. The gym is well-equipped and the programmes are nice as well. There should be a bit more entertainment. Especially in the evenings. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday I believe this is your best choice!

This hotel is more like a 4-star hotel. Compared to other 5-star hotels, it can't keep up: the facilities are outdated, and "all-inclusive" doesn't mean everything is included. For example, you have to pay €10 for pool towels, and the minibar is not included either. Dining in the à la carte restaurant also costs extra, and lunch at the beach bar is not regularly available. The use of the tennis courts and the indoor pool also costs extra.
The food itself is okay, but not very varied. At least there are vegan options! The hotel bar offers only a few cheap cocktails without branded alcohol, and you can only get branded cola at dinner, but not at the bar (everything is mixed with syrup here); if you’re looking for quality drinks with style, this is not the place. Everything is served in plastic cups.
The hotel is more about "quantity over quality," even though it’s not that big. It is quite remote, with about an hour’s drive to Chania, and there’s nothing going on in the immediate surroundings. Really, nothing. You also can't go for a decent walk.
The large pool is nice, but very cold, dirty at the bottom, and only 1.10 meters deep. The beach is empty and clean, but it's a pebble beach, which is important to know.
The hotel is a sports hotel, but aside from aqua aerobics and morning yoga, there are only a few class offerings. However, the gym is very well equipped!
The guests were mostly Brits (some of them party-goers who can be satisfied with cheap cocktails, mediocre food, and loud music) and many retirees.
The best thing about the hotel was the friendly staff; everyone was very kind and helpful.
All in all, it's a good hotel, but if you're expecting luxury, this is the wrong place! Not a luxury resort! I wouldn't book the hotel again, especially not for the price!!

We spent our honeymoon there in June. When we arrived had the chance to upgrade our room to one with semi-private pool and it was the best decision, I highly recommend that. We even got honeymoon gifts in the room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Regular cleaning in the rooms. We booked all inclusive and the food was great and there was plenty to choose from. The surrounding area is quite empty and not so nice but we had everything we wanted inside the hotel. (We had to pay for the wifi that was still not the best). The music nights and the themed dinners were outstanding. Thank you for everything!

Went to Cavo Spada for a 3 night break with my wife, excellent choice! We got a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite with pool view and sea view. Breakfast selection was simply amazing, including local delicacies and fresh fruit. Staff were very polite and friendly! We had a great time, thank you guys! :)
