Great hotel location and friendly staff. The girl Inga at the reception was very polite and helped with all our questions. In general, the hotel staff was always ready to help, even if it was necessary to go up to another floor with us. The room is large enough with all the necessary amenities. The air conditioning worked properly, which was very necessary.
The food was a disappointment. Dry snacks and old fruit, monotonous food every day, the menu hardly changed so we just stopped eating at the hotel. All inclusive is not worth it. Cocktails are also on 3. But I think it's because the hotel itself doesn't meet the standards, the staff did everything possible to make our stay there more comfortable. That's all that is included in your all inclusive, then you will be asked to pay even for washing towels that you take to the beach. The room service was very sloppy, they forgot to clean part of the room, put new towels.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 days, but actually now would choose a longer stay. Great experience overall.
The room was spacious and clean, well maintained and with a balcony. There also was a fridge, a safe, very big tv, and a lot of hygiene items. The only item I would also prefer to have is a work desk. Overall I was very satisfied with the room.
The service was also nice. The room was cleaned very well and people at the buffet , swimming pool and reception were nice.
The location is great. Right next to the Cala with clean water. Also the bus station is close by.
The food was great. The best I had in the hotels so far. I prefered the half board. Each day the menu somewhat varied so I didn't get bored of the same food. The food was delicious and fresh, a lot of seafood, beef, pork, cheese, fruits, also good drinks.
Overall I was very satisfied with my stay at the Barcelo Aquamarina and would come back to this hotel again

This is the 3rd Barcelo I have stayed in, by far my most “mixed” experience.
The hotel itself is lovely, well situated for local shops, restaurants and the beach. The bedroom we had (747), had a lovely view across the cove (picture included), was clean and well maintained, the housekeeping team were fantastic.
Evening entertainment and the animation team throughout the day were really lovely, happy to chat to you even if you didn’t want to join in activities and all the bar staff were a credit to the hotel/Barcelo as a brand.
The pitfalls we came across mainly were at meal times, dinner drinks were meant to be served to you, but this rarely happened, either needed to try and find/get the attention of a member to staff or as we saw in some cases, attempt to help yourself. Food signage needs work, a lot missing so you’d have to guess what the item was, or the translation didn’t make sense, so again creating a guessing game. Likewise, there is no allergy signage other than some on the doors stating to ask staff - had enough issues finding a staff member to ask for a glass of wine, let alone what was in the food. As a result I ended up eating something with egg in and with an egg intolerance this landed me in bed for the rest of the night and the following day.
We were able to hire a car with ease via the team on reception, they arranged the car hire on our behalf and explained to us where we needed to be and when for the car collection.
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel, but think some work needs to be done towards the restaurant system.

Initially, I was a bit disappointed with the room size, but the view was perfect. Although my stay was outside high sezon, the hotel was fully booked. It felt a bit crowded, especially around the swimming pools. Extra points for food. We had breakfast and dinners in the hotel price. The food quality and selection are unmatched by the other 4 star hotels I've been to!
Also, direct access to the beach adds to the sunny holiday experience. All in all - 5 stars.

We’ve stayed at many many all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean.
Loved our AI+ three night stay here and honestly wish we’d stayed here longer (and in Alcudia less nights.) Really well-run hotel. Amazing location right on Cala Ferrera - gorgeous indescribable views!!!!
Food
Breakfast and lunch buffet are fantastic. Tons of creative beautiful options for every liking. Can’t even begin to name all the incredible salads, meats, soups, desserts, etc.Self serve wine and beer bar at lunch which is also a bonus.
Gregorio, our server. (Sorry I can’t remember the exact spelling!)
We ate every night at the Magical restaurant. Gregorio (from Poland) was so welcoming and didn’t mind that we ordered multiple servings of the Tuna Tataki and Corvina . Loved every delicious bite and he always recommended which wine to try, included in AI+. Really a wonderful asset to the restaurant staff. Highly recommend the chocolate brownie dessert - REALLY good!!
Front desk staff
Eva and Eva were very welcoming when we arrived and throughout our visit. Iberia/Vueling lost my husband’s return flight and Judith was very helpful with calling the airline for us. Greatly appreciated her assistance as we were freaking out because our incoming flight on Iberia was cancelled.
Bars
bartenders were great. Very generous pours and great selection of high-end liquor.
Rooms and beds were very comfortable and quiet. We slept great and had no issues whatsoever. Gorgeous view of the Cala from our patio!!
Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return if in the area again. Great location in walking distance to everything in Cala D’or and Cala Esmeralda.
