We stayed here in late October 2024. Positives. Quite cheap. Great staff. Fabulous location on the beach with great views Basic but clean rooms. Okay, but not great, food. The pool is fine. Cheep drinks at certain times of day. Negatives. Not even close to a 4 star hotel. More like a 2 star. Rooms are cold, poorly insulated, and the air con/heating barely works. Some rooms are smoking rooms and, as the insulation is terrible, it makes the non-smoking rooms stink, too. Very clinical and dated, almost like sleeping in a sports centre.

Stayed one night, and the staff price matched to what we found online. One night with breakfast for two adults for 86 euro. We had a room with a side sea view. The room was spacious, and the outside balcony was also big enough to comfortably sit two. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast had everything you could want, including lots of fresh fruit.

A very basic hotel, the pool sitting area is awful, beds are on grass that is wet and muddy so cannot put anything on the ground, the sun beds are stacked at night but are not cleaned. Pool is okay to cool off in but not for swimming. Rooms are clean but basic. We were there for a Wedding so it made do but I wouldn't want to choose this hotel for a holiday. The breakfast had plenty of choice but is like a school canteen, claustrophobic. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, 2 - 3 at the best. Staff were pleasant. Great location on the beach, lovely restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend El Gusto to eat & Legends fir an evening of entertainment.

We have stayed here before as he location is perfect. Right on the beach with amazing views and a short stroll along the boardwalk into la cala. The downside is the rooms are dated and could do with attention, especially the bathroom, with a stained bath, dirty floor drain and small, threadbare towels. We used the tea/coffee facilities within the room on the first day however supplies were not replenished for the remainder of our stay which was disappointing. Breakfast was the same every day with plenty of variety it was just not hot enough. Sunday there was no one preparing fresh eggs and bacon which was again disappointing

We read some bad reviews of this hotel. When we got there we where surprised, good hotel nice room and bathroom. Yes bathroom could be updated but no problem at all. Reception staff met about 8 all very good. The choice of food breakfast and evening meal, very good. Such an array of food. Staff all good. There is entertainment Thurs Fri and Saturday if you want it. Finishes Fri and sat by 11.15pm so can sleep. Also an excellent gym, just of from the lounge. Can go in lounge at night for drinks or coffee. Pool with lounges and a bar for light snacks drinks coffee. Can walk along by beach where there are bars and restaraunts. We used as base and went to Ronda, Granada, Mijas peublo, all wonderful. We could not fault this hotel. Please ignore bad reviews, we think they are so unfair. The hotel seem to try so hard to keep customers happy.

This is a nice hotel with fantastic gardens and pool. Very good food evening and breakfast. Open shady courtyard a pleasure to relax in. Only let down by the rooms not being ready when our party arrived. We were delayed our planned arrival to accommodate but still had to wait for nearly 1 hour before our room was made ready. The location is outside Mijas making the need for bus trips necessary if you want to go out.

I had a great stay at Hotel Ilunion in Mijas. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay, always friendly and attentive to any requests. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, well-kept place to stay in Mijas

Room was unclean on arrival, ac did not work. Bathroom had mold. Service was unfriendly at best. We were only allowed one room key. Breakfast was expensive but not tasty. I’m shocked it has a four star rating, my experience was more similar to a two star or motel. The grounds are beautiful, but the rooms are very old and dingy.

For GBP 100 a night, it provides excellent value for money. The view overlooking the courtyard and onto the horizon is very pleasing. The staff were very attentive; Christ, everyone flocked to Jesus and Nemesis. The shower jet strength was satisfactory. I found the orientation of the bar in the bedroom cupboard a little odd, I think it should be rotated by 90 degrees to be parallel with the wall. The hotel was clean. The floor tiles in the reception area are very pretty. I would definitely recommend it.

**Hotel Review: A Disappointing Return** Nine years ago, we stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience, prompting us to return for a 5-night, 6-day stay. Unfortunately, this visit under new management was deeply disappointing. Our room was a far cry from the luxury we experienced previously. The interior desperately needs an update; it felt dated and lacked the sophistication we remembered. The overall ambiance was underwhelming and failed to meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel. The most troubling aspect of our stay was the rude and unprofessional behavior of the restaurant managers. On one occasion, we asked a manager if we could have lunch. Her response was curt and unhelpful; she instructed us to sit and wait for service. Despite being passed by multiple staff members, no one came to bring the menu. We left after an extended period of being ignored, all the more frustrating with a hungry child in tow. Another night, while queuing for dinner, the manager ignored us twice, choosing to address the group behind us instead. This blatant disregard for guests' order of arrival was infuriating and unprofessional. The customer service from the management team was severely lacking. Their attitude was stress-filled and unwelcoming, with no effort to make guests feel valued or comfortable. A basic level of politeness and a simple smile would go a long way in improving the guest experience. This hotel's decline in service and quality since our last stay is disheartening. The management team, particularly in the restaurant, needs significant training in customer service and professionalism. Our experience was far from the superb stay we once had, and it is unlikely we will return.

Just spent a fabulous week at this gorgeous hillside hotel , spotlessly clean , every member of staff greets you with a smile . The breakfast is an amazing banquet of hot and cold foods. Evening meal was a bit hit and miss but I will book B+B next time . Although not marketed as adults only it attracts an older age group I seen 2 children during my stay . The pool is fabulous and the sunbeds are in abundance. The beds were so comfy and the outdoor balcony terrace had 2 chairs and a table . The fridge kept my water and snacks nice and cold It's location on the hillside gives it the most breath taking views and it's a very short walk to local restaurants/ bars and shops . Location 5⭐️ Cleanliness 5⭐️ Food 4⭐️ Pool 5⭐️

Lovely traditional hotel Spanish style. Staff were lovely helpful and very efficient....nothing too much trouble. Views were totally amazing couldn't be bettered. Only let down was the food ...very poor

Great location, just 5 minutes walk from Mijas. Local bus stop outside hotel. Good choice of food, although sometimes it could do with being a bit hotter. The room was clean, but a bit old-fashioned. The bed was comfortable. Water in the bathroom took some time for the hot to come through. Staff were friendly and efficient. There are plenty of sunbeds. If visited again, I would book a superior room.

Wonderful hotel with super friendly staff. The view is amazing, 2 pools (1 small for children and 1 bigger), comfortable and spacious rooms, delightful food. The city itself is charming. Totally recommend!

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful town. We spent 10 days here and loved every minute. Great facilities, awesome pool and amazing views towards Fuengirola. We took our 9 month old baby and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. The room was a little small. Having requested a cot, the cot actually took up quite a lot of space, so it would’ve been awesome to have a larger room. However the room was right next to the pool, so having easy access was a huge bonus. One of the best places we’ve stayed and would highly recommended staying here if you’re visiting Mijas.

Atenção!!! Publicidade e imagens enganosas. Bar e restaurante encerrados, campo de ténis e parque infantil, completamente destruidos, piscinas em funcionamento mas a precisar de manutenção. Edifícios em muito mau estado e sujos. A receção já não funciona há 3 anos, dá ideia que neste momento funciona por gestão dos proprietários e não da forma como é publicado. Não se deixem enganar pelas fotografias.

False ad, the place is very abandoned the games room is under construction the bar restaurant supposedly leaves something to be desired fly stickers hanging on the counters the place is very poorly attended the people are very noisy and disrespectful, to see this place was abandoned 7 years ago so well before the Covid so the excuse of that is worthless fortunately we came by car because there is nothing to do on foot everything is far away ……I will not return to this so-called complex
