The hotel was gorgeous, a little dated but still great! Our family room was spacious and perfect for what we needed, however, it had an odd smell when we arrived, kind of like dirty nappies. The food however was so bad. We had half board, the breakfast was standard, not bad but not great. The food in the evening was awful, out of the 10 nights we stayed, 7 of them we had to eat elsewhere. Easily the worst all inclusive food we’ve ever had. The lunch from the pool bar was good, however you had to pay for it. If you’re staying here don’t do half board, it’s not worth it.

Positives:
Fantastic location – just a short walk to town, close to bus stops, and offering great views.
Clean and spacious room – well-maintained and comfortable.
Negatives:
Unexpected charges – €3/day to use the room safe and extra fees for additional tea and coffee felt unnecessary.
Breakfast – while adequate, it lacked variety and flavor.
Staff interaction – although polite, the staff didn’t seem genuinely engaged. For example, check-out felt transactional with no inquiry about our stay.

Hotels lovely and friendly but unfortunately I failed to see the difference in a twin bedroom and a twin superior. I was shocked to find out this was basement rooms and the door which was south facing had bars running vertical on it. It looked like a jail from the inside and felt like a jail. The curtains were constantly closed for this reason. Anyone with chlostrophobia is in trouble. The hotel needs to clarify this as it spoils the holiday. I wanted to upgrade and was given Thursday 2nd October to move from room 14 to room 16
.I made enquiries in the morning and the hotel management said we had to repack our cases and move them to the reception area until the room was ready. This was a riddicolous offer as all our clothes would be creased again. What was a matter with being informed when the room was ready and allowing a straight move . No No for me we pay our money we want something better than we have at home not worse . Also having a disability and carrying an international card was never taken into consideration with the cases being jumped up and down
Shame it's a lovely place but no mention of it feeling like an open jail on the description which was misleading.

We have decided to try your hotel again as the only drawback on our last visit was the feeling of it resembling a cage. The rest of the stay was impeccable and very friendly .
On this occasion I have paid to be sure that we have a superior twin south facing room . I have also recommended the town of Mijas and the hotel to two long standing friends who will be taking the vacation with us over the New Year. I refer to your honest and fair reply and i havs given you the opportunity to make the vacation a more enjoyable experience. We arrive 30th December 2025 for 1 week. Please can you supply a contact email address so I can register our names . Thank you.

Beautiful typically Spanish hotel in a beautiful setting.
Spotlessly clean!
Breakfast buffet had everything you’d need even for picky eaters. All staff friendly.
Pool bar food was decent too for lunch. Didn’t eat in the hotel in the evening as so many lonely restaurants in the pueblo.
Couldn’t fault it and would definitely go back.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. The architecture of the building is really pretty and gives it a true Spanish feel. The rooms are also inkeeping with a traditional Spanish feel and they are kept spotlessly clean as is the rest of the hotel. We had breakfast included and there was a big selection which included options for vegetarians and even various milks too. There was a car park but you are charged for this. The hotel is walking distance from the town and it has it's own pool area too. The pool area was never short of sundowners and never felt overly busy but we did stay in August so there were quite a few guests staying there.
