We really enjoyed this hotel and holiday. The food was really good for an all inclusive. Nice pools and friendly staff. Slightly isolated location but beach is walkable if not too hot.

I really enjoyed the stay at the hotel. I would recommend it event to families with kids due to childrens pool and playground. The whole hotel is nice and clean, it is run by a family and you can feel like home there. Staff is very kind and helpful. The beach is 20min by walk, or you can take a shuttle bus which rides 4x a day (one sunbed for 5€). Bus stop to kos town is just behind the corner (25 min ride for 2,3€). I really home I will come back someday with my family and friends :)

Clean and well appointed rooms. Food is good and plentiful.Breakfast has a good variety of cooked and continental style. Would be nice if lunch had cold meats to go with the good selection of salads. Dinner has some cooked dishes which are a little repetitive but there are daily greek dishes which are tasty. Would have liked more greek food but everything is cooked well. 15min walk from the beach. Hired sunbeds and lock box for 14 euros. Beds come with qr code to order drinks and food. Best seasoned fries ever tasted. Bus to Kos is cheap at 2.30 euros per trip per person and bus stop is right outside of hotel. Takes around 25mins. Times posted at reception. Facilities at the hotel are good with two pools. And a good play area for kids. Only downside is the wine. Only Red and White on tap. However there is a decent fridge in the rooms and a good supermarket 10mins away with a good selection of drinks. This is an ideal location if you want a quiet away from it all place to stay. No nightlife but Tignaki has plenty of bars if you want something a bit more lively or go to Kos.

Currently at my second stay here, came last year and decided to come again this year. Am currently on a 10 night holiday but things are not as good last year, the food was good last year but this year not as good. I get the feeling due to fewer guests as season ends standards have slipped. Chips are teeth breakers am told they are fried 🤔 wonder how many times they have been fried. Complained tonight about the poor quality of food , choice was Octopus, rabbit, fish, pork and the safe bet of spaghetti with a tomato sauce. Octopus was horrible, rabbit was full of bone splinters , pork was so dry was extremely hard to cut. Fish no better so after 2 bowls of soup that was very nice it was spaghetti with a tomato sauce. Complaint lodged and the chef said as the chips were fried so they were hard !! Not sure if the Romans invented chips or the British did but seeing as chips EVERY night thought they would be good at then now 🤔. Other than that standing in line when bar is almost empty ( everyone in the bar in the queue) feeling thirsty and hungry my full fat beer in the fridge in my room seems like a good alternative 😁. Maybe my return was a mistake, other than that thank goodness for the young lad in the pool bar who is the "glue" for this establishment, he might be young but give him the keys to turn this place around 👍

Absolutely lovely. Suited our needs perfectly! The room we stayed in was adequately sized, with a small fridge. Anything you need extra like pillows or coat hangers, they are more than happy to supply. The breakfast is simple, we supplemented ours with some delicious fruit from the local supermarket across the road from the hotel. We hired our bikes from Moto David who was situated outside our hotel too. Perfect ease and convenience! An overall delightful stay!! X

This hotel is NOT 3star. Broken floor tiles in a room from the 70's. No hot water in the morning or after 8pm. No hand rail into the pool at the steps. Cat poop in the unkempt grass by the pool. Sunbeds which were very saggy and torn and unuseable. Brolly stands sticking up in the long grass. Bar staff had favorites who were allowed to dive and dive bomb the pool, but others told off for not following the rules. On a positive note, the balcony was a good size. The maid left us a lovely display on the beds on our anniversary, and the room was cleaned regularly. Staff were pleasant at breakfast, and if they were on reception. This hotel is in a great spot to use as a base for looking around Kos, but we would never stay at this hotel again.

'Monday is bbq night!' A mantra I intend to take home with me after my wonderful stay in Kos. Every Monday night is a big party with delicious Greek bbq, upbeat music and a community of patrons (first timers and regulars) coming together to drink and laugh. Iris hotel is truly the best place to stay if you're planning a trip to this beautiful island. The staff are so polite, friendly and ready to help. The atmosphere at this hotel is like no-where else I've ever been. The view from the bedroom we stayed in was incredible and the room was spacious, clean and luxury without the price tag. I don't think you will find a better hotel on the entirety of Kos than Hotel Iris. On top of this, they have a fantastic pool and a bar to match that serves food and drinks all day - as well as a breakfast buffet with and excellent selection.

I stayed at the Kris Mari for the first time this October and enjoyed a relaxing stay for two weeks. The two negatives are, 1:- bathroom was quite old and really does require refurbishing. That said it was very clean so please don’t use this as a ‘don’t go’ it’s fine believe me. Number 2:- the wi fi is very hit miss. With 2024 well under way they need to either pay more for increased internet speeds or try a different provider. Another slightly confusing aspect was the various router names Alma restaurant 1, Alma restaurant 2 & so on. Your login details covered all routers but as I’ve said confusing. Lastly on the negatives I was charged €35 to use the safe, which I find unbelievable. I’ve never experienced this charge and I’ve stayed in numerous hotels around the world. The positives, brilliant location, lovely staff, Jenny the bar lady was very efficient and looked after me and the other guests impeccably. The check in procedure was easy and the receptionists helped as well, so an easy stressless procedure. The pool area was very clean and the bar staff, & food was good. The continental breakfast was a little limited but All in all I would recommend the Cleopatra Kris Mari.

We spent a week here…. Rooms are very basic, wet room, shower is very small. Cleaners came in every 2 days, didn’t change the sheets just made up the beds. Changed towels every 2 days but not all towels, some towels were just folded back up so it looked like they were changed. I had a nap one afternoon and the cleaner walked straight in, didn’t bother to knock first. I did apologise and left the room to let her do her job. Found a dead cockroach outside our room but once my little boy pointed it out Infront of the cleaner she did soon clean it up. Didn’t expect anything less as we were in a hot country and only saw the 1 in the hotel so we didn’t pay much attention to it. Breakfast is very basic, they served from 7.30-9.30am which is very early for being on holiday. Very basic, mainly toast, fruit and yoghurt. Nothing exciting. Had half a peach slice one day but didn’t bother eating breakfast any other mornings, didn’t look appealing at all. The pool was brilliant, lovely, clean, size pool. The pool bar was cheap, food also cheap, food was quite nice. Staff were friendly. We paid for air con, although it didn’t feel like it worked as hardly pumped anything out and found it took around 5 hours for the room to get to a comfortable temperature. Great location, 2 mins from the beach and the main shops, bars and restaurants. The only thing the put me off was the air con being naff and the breakfast. They are the only 2 things I can really moan about. Other than that, it’s a place to lay your head down at night time and keep your belongings.

We always stay here , we booked for 3 weeks earlier this month unfortunately due to a family bereavement we had to leave after 10 days the staff on reception were so helpful and understanding but we will be back in October for another 3 weeks and again in May next year

We loved our stay here. Hotel has modern decor, has been renovated recently. Service is good, staff is nice but not too much on your face. Food was amazing! Especially Greek cuisine Monday. There’s not too much kids there, no loud music during day. Everything was clean. Hotel is also very close to the beach (recommend for magical sunsets) and main street with stores, tour agencies and car rentals. We recommend staying here, we are considering coming back in some time.

It's a joke that the hotel has 3 stars... because it deserves much more! The service in the hotel in every sector is nice. Fresh towels every 2 days, bedding changed halfway through the stay, the room cleaned every day. I recommend renting a car from Gaia explorer. The hotel has business cards, the more days the better deals the owner offers, he doesn't take a deposit, he didn't even check the car after our arrival... he trusted me that everything was fine, additionally during the rental he gave some nice tips which beaches are beautiful and less known to tourists, etc. Returning to the hotel, the food surprised me every day. I rate the hotel very highly. There is nothing to complain about. The trip was very successful. If I had to recommend a hotel in Kos to someone, it would be this one!

Steve there in May/June 2024, the all inclusive was not what we expected having been to other all inclusive hotels. But we had a great time. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant was excellent, not too much choice but was enough and excellent and the menu changed every day. Great location, Tingaki is a great place, would definitely recommend and return

Firstly the only saving grace for this hotel was the 2 brothers at the bar . Luli and Alex fantastic and always had a smile on their face The food - horrendous is still to nice of a word to sum it up . Cold stodgy and lacking basic seasoning . The cleaning of the room - none existent possibly just a quick mop at best . We know the bed sheets were not changed in the entirety of our stay - a makeup mark from night one was still there at night 7 . They leave the doors open while cleaning allowing your room to become inhabited by all sorts of biting insects . Which isn't ideal when you spend most of the day getting eaten alive (of course not the hotels fault) The pool is good however. For a none swimmer it was decent The entertainment baring one night (music bingo) was poor - one night was one of the staff singing . Fair enough there was only 3 of them trying their best they need support. While waiting for the transfer back it appears the manager was more interested in shouting at the staff then helping them . Make sure if you go take LOTS of insect spray you're going to need it The beach and sea is decent- Eva's beach is a recommendation Lots of cats about - not a problem for me - one of which attached itself to us

Fantastic... It looks old outside but very clean and warm inside. Rooms are very clean and the view ❤️❤️ the rooms which stayed on the poolside are very breeze. You don't have to turn the air conditioner on when you were sleeping. Housekeepers are very kind. Very warm place. Location is also legendary. Highly recommended 👌

Great location, but just about it. Very old dated rooms, but old furniture will be the smallest concern. The floor is covered with carpeting that is patchy, grey and black, looks dusty and dirty. The bed covers look worn and overused. The worst part, the toilet seat, covered with flaky paint. Never seen something like that before in a hotel. In need of dire renovation that has been delayed for years.

Breakfast is from 7 until 10. You can eat on the terras overlooking the harbour. Rooms are cleaned everyday. The room has a small but very good fridge . The wifi worked well enough for me for streaming films . Reception is handy as you can hire a car/bike there easily. Left of the hotel are beaches and to the right kos centre. This place is ideal. Each room has a kettle for making coffe/tea.

Incredible staff!!! They were super nice, took good care of us and were even funny. I would 100% recommend Blue Nest. I do not usually have the chance to encounter a place where I felt so comfortable with the staff. I hope others come here and experience the same we did, and, hopefully, Blue Nest has a success in the coming years. They also helped us find a convenient car rental service, we did not have to do any effort.

Loved our stay here. George and his family/team were outstanding. Always around, always helpful. So friendly. Location was so peaceful, and very close to the beach front. The room service ladies were so helpful and lovely too. I would come back again, and look forward to staying again as it was a perfect little break away.

We had an amazing stay at blue nest! Staff are so friendly and helpful. Pool and rooms are lovely. Little out of way from bars and restaurants but very close to beach. Buses nearby to Kos and Tigaki. The Greek night at hotel was amazing with buffet, dancers and music.

The hotel is about right for it's price point. Our room was clean and big although they could have used some of the room space to enlarge the bathroom. I wouldn't have liked to use the shower if I was the overweight size that many people now are! The breakfast was adequate for our needs although we don't have a large breakfast. More fresh fruit would have been welcome. The snacks and main meal were a little below what we would usually go for and we ate many times at the vineyard next door( highly recommended!) The pool area is great - nice pool, very clean, plenty seats. The staff are the real highlight and always had a cheery word or helpful advice. We booked bikes and the Bodram tour through them and both were excellent. Tigaki is a reasonable walk away but that's no great loss tbh! Bus stop is handy and many places are reachable by bicycle.

Family run hotel staff lovely and helpful pool,bar and grounds well kept but as for the room we had it was very basic and had seen better days. As for the food it was not good especially the hot food selection was always tepid if not cold (breakfast and dinner) We only had 1 evening meal and ate out the other 6. As for location it is at the far end of kardamena yes its quite and restful but its not a 45 minute stroll to town as most brochures say it a 10 good minute taxi ride

Myself and husband arrived at the hotel at 3am feeling exhausted after a long flight with delays. We were given our keys to our room and told to check in, in the morning. Unfortunately our room was very tired and out dated plus the air conditioner wasn’t working so our room was hot and uncomfortable. The air conditioning unit had leaked all over the floor in the night so by the morning there was quite a lot of water covering my side of the room in which I had to use the towels provided to soak it up with. The lady at reception was nice and offered us another room and very helpful. The pool area was nice and clean plus loved the fact we were always able to get a sun lounger. I had a wonderful time at the beach snorkelling and the water temperature was lovely. Me and my husband do like to keep fit so used the gym everyday. Downside is that all the equipment was very dusty and the lights didn’t work. Would definitely be an improvement if it had air conditioning as the gym was situated in the basement with small windows giving little air ventilation. Having rental bikes was a plus as gave us the freedom to explored and only a 15 minute cycle into town. As a vegetarian I would have liked a little more choice with the food as some nights (apart from the salad bar) lots of dishes had meat in them. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful but I felt at times it could have done with a few more members due to the amount of guests. A few occasions the reception area or bar would have no one around for help. All in all we had a nice holiday and took away some lovely memories of Kos.

Excellent hotel situated close to the beach, in a good location to explore all the island. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, cleaning provided every day. Nice sea and mountain view from the balcony. Two swimming pools with sunbeds (one for adults and one for children and sunbeds on the beach. Good food buffet. Very nice and friendly staff. We will definitely come again.

I wrote a review once already but was shouted at to take it down, so I’ll change it slightly to The male owner, who can be identified by the older male who paces around the place shouting at staff on a morning, was very passive aggressive towards me on several occasions, I took this with homophobic intent, regardless of how he might feel he can justify it as otherwise. I went out as a young Single male to an all inclusive holiday there. On one night the manager approached me and told me I’m too much. I thought he was referring to me being loud around the bar area with friends I had made at the hotel. I brushed this off, He then Mumbles something referring to me being gay. I got very upset and uncomfortable and left the hotel very upset and spent the rest of the evening away from the hotel in the town centre. He’s then singled me out on several other occasions when we have all been together as a group referring to noise again, ‘especially you’ being rather rude towards me in a whole group situation. When the other guests made him aware it was them making more noise he refused to listen and told them it was especially me. I left the hotel during the day for most of my stay because of this. Spending money I didn’t need to but was uncomfortable staying there all day. On one of those days, he approached the group I usually sat with and quite astonishingly said to other groups of people “isn’t it quieter now because I went out for the day” He’s then come back out and said in front of the group ‘you too much, go, goodnight’ on a separate ocassion, when I’ve looked at him he’s said once again ‘goodnight’ directing me to my room like a child. I stupidly left my review the day before leaving when I got the email to do so about the hotel saying how I felt and that it had an homophobic tone to the nature of my situation. I’m not one to label things and give anyone the benefit of the doubt but it was clear after 3 days of this that I couldn’t label it anything over than what it was. Hes then approached me rather aggressively the day before I left, around the busy pool area shouting aggressively at me about the my review. Demanding I tell him what my problem is with him, he said he’s not homophobic he had a gay friend and then said I’m homophobic. Again demanding I take down the review. This made me extremely distressed and uncomfortable. After I had left the hotel for the day, to get away from this. He went on to Corner other guests I have been spending time with at the hotel, twice about me in that day telling them to tell me to take my review down, and trying to explain how he wasn’t happy. When they had my back and explained he had been singling me out, he began shouting at them. On top of this, the food was basic and the same most days, I strongly believe that some food for lunch some days were left over from night before. Not much choice at all, there was never any snacks provided during the day out of these times unless you paid for them at their ‘shop’. Basic things as water was denied to me on an evening when I would go to the shop as they were ‘closed’. No entertainment was provided on an evening, so even if I did go back to the hotel, it was just down to us to have a laugh together as a group around the bar which then caused me more problems with the manager. The bar they provided closed at 10:30pm some nights and we were told to be quiet after this time. Coming to my room, it had ants all over, bugs in the bathroom and on the floor. I found a lizard crawling around eating the bugs one night. I’m very shocked how this hotel is 4 star rated, and charges taxes on this 4 stars when it very clearly isn’t. My main problem is how uncomfortable, upset, distressed and alarmed this hotel owner made me feel on my first holiday abroad. As a single, young gay man this has ruined my confidence and I’ve spent most of my trip out of the all inclusive hotel because of this one man and his ignorance. AVOID AVOID AVOID - Especially if you’re gay guys.

My husband and I stayed for a week in Mammis Beach Hotel. It was faboulus! All staff is very friendly and polite. Rooms have a lot of space and are very clean. Airconditioning works perfectly. Coctails are amazing! Food was great as well. The hotel has everything, pool, private beach with sunbeds, restaurant, bar, pool table, small library corner. The city is close, 15 minutes by foot, and the bus stops by the hotel too. We loved it here!

We booked this Hotel originally for its proximity to the Town and Beach, outside of the main resort for peace and quiet yet only 10 mins walk to the Town. It had its own little private Beach. Sunbeds were plentiful both poolside and at the Beach and free to Hotel guests. Meals and drinks were very reasonably priced and excellent quality. Breakfast was continental and plentiful with a relaxed policy on times, (you didn't feel rushed if you came along late) and you always had a cheery good Morning from Renata. Meals were cooked by Georgios who would accommodate you with items that did not appear on the menu. The BBQ night was great value for money with plenty of food being provided to your table. Nico, managed the bookings and Hotel and was very accommodating and helpful. Staff were all very pleasant and friendly and created a very enjoyable atmosphere. Nationalities included, Danes,Germans,Italians,Irish and UK guests,and there was a very friendly atmosphere around the Hotel. I had read some negative reviews but can only say that our experience and that of the people I spoke to at the Hotel was nothing but positive. We are frequent travellers and normally opt for fully inclusive. However we had one week in Turkey fully inclusive and then travelled on to this Hotel with the intention of travelling around and eating out at different restaurants we found everything so good at Mammis that we decided to eat here everyday and Night. We are already planning our return visit for June 24. Keep up the Great work Mammis Beach. Derek and Michelle Room Number 1.

I really was amazed by the hosts kindness. Even when our cab cancelled last minute our trip back to airport they managed to find a way to get us there (despite the only cab company being busy and not accepting request with less than 2 hours prior). Also because of the late flight they managed to switch our dinner that we missed and were very kind and understanding throughout our stay. I highly recommend the location for being very quiet, a place where you can trully relax, that we will happily return too. The dinner was lovely although you coulndt choose still every dinner was delicious.Breakfast a bit repetitive but you had everything you could desire. The wiffi may not be the best but we managed to get work done therefore i highly recommend this place.

Excellent 2 week stay in September 23. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Pool and pool bar great. Food was very good. Lady behind bar was very nice. Had an issue with the air con, they tried to fix it but couldn't so swapped our room. Breakfast was decent, not sure what some people expect. We were in main block and had a lovely pool/mountain view as well as salt lake. Shower was over the bath and quite tight, but it was manageable. Great location, nice and quiet but near everything. No complaints at all

We had our summer vacation at the Costa Angela resort in August over the course of seven days. Below is a list of pros and cons. Pros: * Great Location - It has its own private beach, right outside the hotel. Other hotels are at a good distance as to not disturb you. There's a nice promenade to walk by the beach. * Quiet - There wasn't any noise after 11 PM. It was quite pleasant. Minus the doors thuds (see below). * Pool - The hotel offers a nice pool, with a lot of sunbeds. The whole area is beautifully set up, with grape vines and palm trees that offer generous shade. The pool is always clean, spotless. * Beach Bar - The Beach Bar, or Restaurant, is great. It doesn't come in the price of the hotel thought, but it has enough in the menu to have lunch here everyday. * Breakfast - The buffett was one of the best we've had. Eggs, Omlette, Sausages station, Cold Cuts station, Fruit station, Jams station, Coffee, Juices, Bread. It has everything. There are many tables, both inside and outside the hall. * Staff - The staff is always friendly and helpful. And they're always around. Don't hesitate to ask for help. * Greek Night - Every Saturday, they host a Greek Night, with live music, dancing and a buffett. The buffett costs 17 euros and it's all you can eat. The music is not loud and it doesn't last through the night. It was very night. * Parking Lot - Good, spacious. Enough room for people who rent cars. * Bus Station - The bus station is right outside of the hotel. Beware, there is no shade and the bus is always late. You can ask for the bus schedule at the reception desk. Cons: * No Wi-fi - Internet only works in the lobby. This is one of the biggest problems with the hotel. It's not something temporarly, be prepared to have mobile data all the time. * Doors Noise - The open/close system makes a loud thud, especially when it's drafty. * Bathroom - It's very small. The toilet is squeezed between the shower and a wall. You barely have enough room to fit. The shower case was also not in a great shape. We had to wash ourselves with our slippers on. * Cleaning Service - While the cleaning ladies were nice and always greeting, the only thing we've found changed were the towels and toilet paper. No other cleaning or dusting was done. * No Cold Water - The water is lukewarm at best. In the morning it's hard to wake up without cold water. * Aircon at Extra Cost - Air conditioning comes with an extra cost per night. You need it, unless your in room 229 (corner room, not facing the sun). * Sunbeds at Extra Cost - At the beach, the sunbeds cost 2.5 euros per day. It's not bad, but given the beach is privately owned by the resort, you'd think it's included in the hotel price.

The hotel says that there is Wifi available but you just have a connection in the lobby, not in the hotel rooms. This is very confusing and if someone really needs a Wifi-Connection the connection is really bad anyways (Video calls etc. no way). On the third day they have stolen 50 Euro of our room and when I asked who was in the room to clean they (the reception) didn't answer me and told us that it is our fault if we let the money open on the desk although it was in a bag which was closed and not visible. The manager and the rest of the staff were really kind and tried to comfort us in every way. Typical greek hospitality (I am also greek). The receptionist was the most unfriendly encounter of all my holiday history. She didn't want to give us her name so we can complain at the hotel manager (I wonder why ;) ). She spoke to us like we are dumb kids. After a little discussion and me nearly losing my mind she told me that her name is Katerina but after a few days I heard that her real name is Marianna. This person has to get fired. Totally unfriendly, arrogant and a liar also. Is bad for the hotels reputation, she should not work in such a job, terrible person. Last but not least: It is about 40 degress on Kos and the air condition does not work, you have to pay extra to control the air condition. It is a shame while half of greece is burning down cause of extreme heat conditions. Should be included. All in all it was a great vacation and we would come again but they have to work on the mentioned points. Marianna has to leave, then we would love to visit Kos again. Hope you'll see this. ;)

We picked this hotel due to its private beachside location and proximity to Kos town, as the bus runs every 15- 25mins. The hotel was superb, excellent rooms with sunset views, superb food at both the gorgeous beach taverna or in the hotel restaurant. I cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they really make you feel like family. Highly recommended.

My partner and I spent ages looking for a hotel on Kos and wanted a relaxing holiday but still with the option of plenty of things to do. It is a family ran hotel and the staff and service were fantastic. The owner and staff ensure that your feel very welcome with the usual Greek hospitality and it is that personal touch needed to make anyone visiting the hotel feel welcome. All the staff treat their guests like friends invited to their home. This hotel is not for you if you want to be able to step out immediately into the hectic Kos nightlife, but for a quiet peaceful spotless hotel and to still be less that 10min bus journey that runs every 15 minutes away from the main town and all it has to offer this is the perfect place. We do not usually do the all inclusive options which is why we booked this hotel preferring to find places the locals eat which we definitely did .... however the food, hospitality and relaxed atmosphere were so great, we ended up eating here several nights out of our two weeks. Food was reasonably priced with huge portion sizes and there was an extensive menu. The room was immaculate and spotless.... cleaned and replenished every day. The only thing we missed was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Lovely balcony to relax on in the setting sun and fly netting across the balcony door allowing you to sleep with a nice breeze blowing in from the sea. Be ready to pay extra daily surcharge for the air conditioning and a safe. The hotel is only a few meters away was the beach which can get quite breezy at times and I was disappointed as a resident to have to pay 5 Euros beach beds. There is a handy beach bar within a few meter of the beach for snacks and rehydration which was very reasonably priced. Beware that if your not a strong swimmer beware of some naughty rips tides. Don't change what you do its so perfect if ever I was in Kos again I would definitely return

Nice Hotel, very friendly staff, good breakfast, the beach was very nice, all in all, everything you expect from a hotel in this price class. The only silly thing was, that you had to pay extra for the air condition. Just take more money for the room.

Location absolutely fantastic, beach by the hotel and with quite affordable 10 Euro per umbrella with two sun loungers per day. People working in hotel are really nice and helpful. Rooms adequate to prices. Nothing fancy, but at the same time clean. If you travel having All Inclusive option then only downside is average food and drinks with limited alcohol % served in really cheap plastic cups. If you would like to taste real Greek cuisine then I recommend going to town for dinner which is like 5 min walk away.

It is of course only a 3* hotel. So don't expect the finest food, drinks and room furniture. But with limited means that they have, we found they did very well. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It may have helped that it was the beginning of the season, but I could not fault them. The food was not fine dining, but it was still tasty and quite varied throughout the week. It is likely a second week in the same place would have started to feel a bit more repetition. But even as a vegetarian I found enough beans, lentils and chickpeas, and eggs at breakfast to satisfy my needs. The direct access to the beach is absolutely fantastic, with very clear water and some fish. It is however a bit rocky once you get in the water, so water shoes may help.

The hotel has the best location🌍, exit to the beach, next to the market, souvenir stands, bars and restaurants, car rental. Standard very average, and so is the food, but I definitely think that the location makes up for it all. The service, however, very friendly and helpful. The waitress Alexandra 😊deserves a special mention, introducing incredibly positive energy, making us feel special, performing not only her basic duties, but also paying attention to making everyone feel amazing. A very hardworking💪, positive person🌞. I hope the hotel manager will see the potential of such a wonderful employee😉. I would love to come back next year. I sincerely recommend

Hi the location was stunning room right on the beach. The rooms were nothing like the pictures on the website. The cleaners and lily that work at the pool bar were amazing should get a pay rise. The food was the same every day. The website does say snacks though out the day but only dried up sandwiches or rolls. Was all that was on offer.

Arrive at 2am to have my brother in law and wife, in a dirty room. Photos attached. The night receptionist was very helpful and phoned the day receptionist and arranged for my brother in law to be relocated to another room in the main building. We were initially given rooms in another building that look like it needs some work. Our room was like being in an hostel. The only positive was the sea view, however, we did not spent much time in the room. Next day we were relocated into the main building, where the room look more like an hotel room. Shower way too small to have a proper shower. Water pressure and temperature varies throughout the day. Day receptionist (forgot her name), lady wearing glasses, apologised and told us that we would have our free lunch and dinner on our last day as our flight was in the evening. On the last day, when asked about the lunch and dinner, the lady seemed to have forgot what she promised and became a bit rude towards my wife. The hotel, claim to be a resort, however, there's no entertainment, not even a pool table. Only one TV in the foyer, always showing the same program. Tour de France... Boring... All inclusive, but ice-creams are not included. Just a handful of drinks available and the snacks throughout the day are a joke and if you are not quick, there will be nothing left. Snacks are leftovers from breakfast and lunch. If you want a lounge bed on the beach you have to pay €10 a day. Pool lounges are free but you have to get up around 8am to get one. Location is very good. Close to the town centre and a step from the beach. Beach is very rocky, so make sure you have beach shoes. If i ever go back to kos, this hotel is out of question. Finally a shout out to Alexandra the maid that cleaned our rooms and Lily the bar woman. Two really nice ladies and the restaurant chef and the lady at the food counter at the restaurant as well. The food is very repetitive but if you're not too picky, you will always find something to eat. However, as I said before, all inclusive at this hotel is not a good idea. Absolutely wonderful place to visit! The staff here are 10/10 and will help with any issues, I loved talking to Lucy, George and Marcos (I think 😅). I had 1 issue on the first night with some bugs (I did visit in bug season) but I was relocated to another room within 10 minutes. The rooms are clean, have a small kitchen area containing a fridge, sink and cutlery. I was located in a room at the front of the hotel, above the bar. You can hear the music from the bar in the room but it’s bearable (the ac drowns it out) and gets quieter around 1am ish. The food is not the greatest, but there is a lot of places to eat within a 5 min walk. The drinks at the bar are 10/10, no question about it! Just note the bar workers may put a bit more liqueur in your drinks -which isn’t a bad thing at all! All said, I loved my trip and will definitely consider origin hotel again if I return to Kos!

BEST HOLIDAY POSSIBLE Origin is a great hotel and would definitely go there again. There may be a bar underneath but it is quiet during the day and they close the doors to the hotel at night so it can be quite quiet. The staff are lovely and are polite and it doesn't feel like you're a guest you're a friend. In a great area as it's only 5 mins to the beach and the town. Would absolutely recommend.

We had a really great holiday staying at the Origin, all the staff were lovely friendly and courteous. We felt like friends rather than guests. All the staff made a real effort to remember you by name. They do run a 24/7 bar with nightly karaoke ( which stopped at midnight). We didn't really notice the sound that much, and we were on the first floor. We had a bit of a medical emergency (nothing to do with the hotel) they arranged a taxi to get us to the hospital late at night. And were so kind and caring. A huge thank you to Marcos and all the staff.

Me and a group of girls stayed here on a holiday and we had the best time. Everyone that worked there were all so welcoming and friendly. The 24hour bar was so good and the karaoke was so much fun. My mother and I stayed at this hotel for one night. Facility was clean, nice pool, lovely views. We arrived before check-in time and were allowed to check-in early, which was nice. Staff was friendly. Air conditioning in the room worked well. They charge you 3 euros per day to use one pool towel. You are not allowed to use the room towels at the pool. No washcloths were provided in the room. No shampoo, conditioner, or body wash was provided either. Breakfast is 14.50 euro per person in the mornings. I was eager to try it, but that was just too expensive for me. I would stay here again.

I enjoyed my time here. You can step outside and immediately see the ocean. The hotel has a lovely terrace where you can listen to music and enjoy the sea view. The room was clean and spacious. The host was incredibly warm and friendly.

I had a great stay at Andromeda Hotel Apartments in Kos! The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and the rooms were spotless with very comfortable beds. The view from my room 41 were stunning and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The only minor downside was some traffic noise, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Highly recommend for a stay in Kos!

Stayed here for a 7 day vacation and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The location is perfect as a starting point for exploring the whole Kos with car, breakfast was good (the home made jam spreads were amazing) and the 3 course dinners were delicious and varied day by day. The whole experience is best described as "no stress", just come and enjoy :)

Nice big rooms, but AC is extra to pay, no WLAN in the rooms and our room was smelling from the sewer. Big balcony and mediocre beds. The breakfast is catastrophic and the dinner not much better. The location is good, near the beach and the salt lake (15 minutes to walk), but not much shops or restaurants nearby (about 25 minutes to walk) The conclusion is, a good starting point for your island adventure when you are mobile and willing to eat outside.

I am spending a great time here. The area is calm, the owners are a lovely family with mom making the breakfast jam herself and cooking great dinners, the rooms are pretty and clean. The beach is in walking distance. I will come back.

I haven’t met so grateful and loving staff, till my journey to Bouradanis Village. Amazing adventure, great place to relax and to forget your worries. Just writing about wonderful cuisine is like not writing at all. Special meals for vegans and vegetarians are delicious and made with love. Location is idyllic, small village next to seaside (10 min walk) and Bus station (5 min walk), all around horses, cows and sheep! Perfect place for slow holidays
