really nice hotel in delightful grounds with banana, orange, lemon and olive trees. nice big pool, spacious with a small cafe. the breakfasts are really good starting 645-10 each day and lots of choice. hotel location is also good about 8mins to beach and mainstrip. theirs a sweet little church at the back leading to the saltpans and possibly flamingos. the gate to saltpans past church is open 8 to 8? lots of beautiful stray cats too.

Excellent 2 week stay in September 23. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Pool and pool bar great. Food was very good. Lady behind bar was very nice. Had an issue with the air con, they tried to fix it but couldn't so swapped our room. Breakfast was decent, not sure what some people expect.
We were in main block and had a lovely pool/mountain view as well as salt lake. Shower was over the bath and quite tight, but it was manageable.
Great location, nice and quiet but near everything. No complaints at all

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. We had a small issue with our first room but this was resolved very quickly and without fuss. The family who run this hotel cannot do enough to help you, the girls in reception in particular, always a cheery smile and willing to help in any way. The hotel is spotless in every public area and the rooms are serviced every day but Sundays, to a very high standard. The pool area is large and plenty of sunbeds, it was never a problem to find a spot! Just one wee point to note...the pool does not have steps to enter, only ladders, but even l could manage these easily despite having some mobility issues. The food at the pool bar is excellent and good value for money. The breakfast was a bit repetitive but this is to be expected! Thank you all at Tigaki's Star for a wonderful holiday, star you certainly are! Yamas!🌟

Just returned from the Tigaki's Star after a really lovely holiday. The rooms were reasonably spacious and very comfortable. The air conditioning was most welcome and worked very well. We had a great view over the salt lake. Bed linen was changed several times in the week as were the towels. There was a general smell that everything had just been polished. Very nice indeed.
The breakfast provided was limited but sufficient with a choice of English or Continental all buffet style.
The pool is really large with sun beds all around and the whole area is kept very clean and tidy. The garden was well tended and cared for with large grassed area leading to the small church on site. The pool bar provided terrific service for snacks and drinks from 10:30 to 21:00 thereafter just drinks for as long as there were customers.
The location is central for the beach and the town's shops an restaurants, both only a 10/15 minute stroll away. At our visit the hotel was full but never appeared to be crowded. There was always room round the pool. The beach was accessible from the hotel via a rear gate onto a sandy trail running by the salt lake. There were bars and restaurants close by.
All of the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.
The location is just right, close enough for beach and nightlife, but quiet and tranquil as there is no through way for passing traffic. All of this provides a very good holiday experience.
