We stayed in Paraiso del Sol, Tenerife from 19-26th August. Terrible experience due to the fact that our rooms had cockroaches! We were family of 4 and we changed 5 rooms out of which 3 rooms had cockroaches. Same happened to other members of our group. Explanation from the receptionists that this is due to the season and warm weather is simply not acceptable due to the fact that same comments were left in January 2024. Second complex is separated from the first where breakfast is served, with smelly, dirty canal which was filled with garbage. If you want to go to breakfast you are faced with very unpleasant walk. Breakfast offer is very modest and simple.

I had an unpleasant stay at this apartment (03-08-2024). The electric fan provided didn’t work, and when we requested another one, we had to pick it up ourselves without any help from the staff. The bathroom was filthy, with rust stains, and it was clear it hadn’t been properly cleaned before our arrival. My boyfriend even had to fix the showerhead himself, which should never be the guest’s responsibility. Worse, there were still handprints on the wall next to the bed, which was disgusting. There was no rack for bath products, and housekeeping was nearly non-existent. It took a week and a call to reception before our bed sheets were finally changed, and that was the only time they were cleaned during our stay. To top it off, on our last night, security confronted my boyfriend because the overly sensitive, older neighbors complained about noise. He was just on the terrace on his phone, but because the security guard saw him first, he immediately assumed my boyfriend was the one making noise without even asking. Even if we were making noise, this area is noisy almost every night, so it’s surprising that these neighbors chose to stay here at all. Regardless, that’s no way to treat your guests. Lastly, don’t expect any service from the reception. They were dismissive and acted like we weren’t even guests. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Disgusting! All my personal stuff was stolen from the room while I was sleeping! Someone tried to use my card…. We went there as a family, with young kids 6/10 years old , the security kept checking up on us every night 12-1am , he knew what was he doing! Disgusted by the service in there owner hasn’t got back to me! Couldn’t believe we trusted this hotel as family, this hotel never had a safe inside, would need to pay money for a safe??? For them to knowledge the pin of it aswell definitely? Won’t leave this like this! Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.my airpords , my Apple Watch , my credit cards! No one cared one bit and everything was done last night before we had our fly, all the stuff knew were leaving next morning and couldn’t have any time to fight for this!

Stayed here for two weeks with my boyfriend and we had a great time. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bath room was clean too. Staff were very friendly.
