We stayed at the Olympic Lagoon Resort Hotel outside of Agia(Ayia) Napa November. Its near the Landa beach and 15mins was to Nissi beach. These beaches are so tranquil and shallow to swim in.
The hotel it self has its own wonderful gardens, plenty of sun beds near the pool and on the grass area. Wondering around the grounds was very pleasant you could lose yourself in an oasis style of surrendering.
The hotel has 4 themed restaurants and each with its own theme and a bit like going out to a restaurant.
The main restaurant is okay and the food is not always hot, the breakfast is good. The rooms have high ceiling and decorated to nice standard, the bathroom could do with some new tiling as it looks bit dated.
The staffs on the front desk are helpful, but there are 2 that stood out for us, Eleni (Manager) and Dimitris they always smiled and greeted us whenever we walked past. Eleni who is such a wonderful person and made our stay very special stay as we were celebrating a special occasion.
If you wanted to go to Ayia Napa town, you can either catch a bus (2 euro each way) just outside of the hotel at the back or walking would take about 25mins.
The only down side was the evening entertainment, I suppose we went out of season and they just had singers every night (some were a bit awful).
All in all a very pleasant stay and would be definitely retuning here again and recommending it to friends.

We stayed for five nights in the adults-only hotel adjacent to the main building. Let’s start there: yes, it’s across the road, but the hotel offers a complimentary 24-hour shuttle, and the walk takes no more than three minutes. As the concierge put it, “You get all the benefits of the main hotel, but guests at the main hotel don’t get access to the adults-only one.” He was absolutely right.
Our first impression of the adults-only hotel was a bit underwhelming—especially with the inexplicable camp bed set up in our room. But once that was removed and we settled in for our first night, we were completely won over. What truly made the experience special were the staff, who looked after us with genuine care. A special shout-out to Nico, who was an absolute pleasure and couldn’t have been more helpful.
We loved starting each day with à la carte breakfast and lunch while watching the lively beach scene unfold right in front of us. Only from the adults-only hotel can you walk straight onto the beach and get a view of the sea.
Over at the main hotel, the primary pool and bar area didn’t impress us initially. But once we discovered the adults-only pool and swim-up bar, it became a highlight of our stay. One small criticism: we wish the staff had given us a proper orientation upon arrival, as the layout can be a bit overwhelming.
The buffet was a pleasant surprise—excellent quality, and far better than the typical buffet experience we usually avoid. Of the three à la carte restaurants, we tried the Asian fusion (Seven Orchards) and the Cypriot meze (Captain’s Table). Seven Orchards was a major letdown: think frozen vegetables and instant noodles. If you’re a fan of Asian cuisine, steer clear. In contrast, Captain’s Table was outstanding—a generous, authentic Cypriot meze that was both plentiful and delicious.
The sunbed allocation system, a feature across Kanika hotels, is a good idea in theory but wasn’t really enforced—perhaps because the hotel wasn’t at full capacity. The all-inclusive offering was excellent, with a wide variety of drinks and genuinely great cocktails.
All in all, we absolutely loved our stay.

Brilliant start to finish. Even when we first checked in we got hot towel, drink & luggage took to our room. Then as our flight was delayed and we arrived after dinner time they put food in our mini fridge for our arrival. Room was clean and modern. All meals were nice. Range of restaurants. Pool sunbed allocation system and towel system worked well. Entertainment was decent. Loved the lazy river was atleast 10-15 mins long even a steady pace. Staff were very polite and always asked you if wanted drinks.

We stayed in the adults only Fisherman’s village at this hotel the last week of October 2025 (UK school half term, my husband works in school).
We have been to this hotel before but not since 2017. There have been a few positive additions, such as adults pool with bar and two additional restaurants (one is adults only). This has increased the offering for those of us not travelling with children/grandchildren.
Room with terrace to Fisherman’s Village private pool was charming. However, you could hear noise from the road (dual carriageway) behind the room - some twits on noisy powered two wheelers enjoyed repeated high speed dash back and forth.
Buffet restaurant at this hotel is very good, with wide range of choices. Only criticism is that some of the dishes weren’t hot enough, but that’s always a challenge for chef with all inclusive/food siting out on hot plate for a while. You can have special made omelettes at breakfast, which were good.
There is good Asian restaurant , Mediterranean and Greek restaurant*, all bookable once per stay. *food at the Greek was limited choice and a bit bland. There is American diner restaurant that we tried twice at lunchtime, good Burgers, chips, nachos. Plus, for adults only, the (posh) Italian - a 5 course meal we enjoyed very much.
Staff throughout the resort are excellent.
Hotel is 5 minutes walk (across road) to Landa beach, lovely and sandy. It is 15 minute walk along sea front to Macronosis beach, larger beach.
All in all, we would recommend for adults only AND for those with children - with lazy river and several pools to choose from. Seemed no shortage of sunbeds, surprising for Oct school break.
We didn’t visit the night entertainment - but could hear people leaving it from our room. The road and entertainment noise is the only reason I can’t give it 5/5. Definitely a 4.5 enjoyment level.
