The Majestic Resorts truly exceeded all my expectations! We stayed at the Mirage last year and the Colonial this year, and both resorts were absolutely stunning. From the breathtaking surroundings to the impeccable amenities, every detail made for an unforgettable stay.
The staff was exceptional—always friendly, attentive, and professional. A special shoutout to Ricardo at the buffet, who went above and beyond to make our breakfasts and lunches memorable. He always remembered our family, stopped by to greet us even when he wasn’t serving our table, and ensured we had everything we needed.
Luis and Jose Martin were also incredible—Jose’s energy and dedication were unmatched, and he made every interaction a joy. The entertainment crew deserves a round of applause as well; while I regret not remembering all their names, their talent and enthusiasm truly elevated the experience.
The seafood restaurant was another highlight. Luis David was outstanding, always ensuring our drinks were topped up and checking in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. His kindness and attention to detail made our dining experience even more special.
It’s clear that the staff at Majestic Resorts love what they do and genuinely care about their guests. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Thank you, Majestic Resorts, for delivering another phenomenal vacation. I can’t wait to return!

Marlin was amazing. Her and her crew were amazing to watch as they always got the crowd up and dancing. Our room was spacious. The beaches were beautiful. Pools were wonderful. They do need a little bit of TLC but they are closing the resort and doing renovations in August so I’m assuming that they’ll be fixing that. The food was good. We were here for two weeks, so it was the same type of food and the second week. The Mexican restaurant was great and same with the Japanese restaurant was really cool. It’s very loud though. The French cuisine was not our kind of food, but it was still lovely. The steakhouse was OK, but there were no steak knives so made it tough to cut the steak. The staff were amazing. Our Butler was always on top of everything for us. We really enjoyed our vacation here and definitely would come back.

My husband and I stayed for a week vacation. It was incredible and everything a vacation should be. The service from every resort employee is outstanding, from the bar tenders, wait staff, animation team, house keeping, butler, grounds keepers, etc, everyone takes their job very seriously and makes sure patrons are comfortable and taken care of. We chose this resort to see if it would be suitable to bring out children for a family vacation and it is. There are plenty of families here of all ages and there are activities for everyone. We are looking forward to returning with our daughters soon.

We had an amazing trip! The food was great, lots of choices to choose from. Pools and rooms were always clean! The beach was wonderful and the staff was so friendly. Activities were well organized! Thank you Victoria for checking in to make sure we were well taken care of!

Our stay at Majestic Colonial was a memorable time that was simply amazing! Every step of our stay, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel like old friends and not just bumbling tourists. Every single staff member we encountered was always eager to assist with anything you might need. With our first night, we were lost on this sprawling resort, and Gigi saw us struggling and kindly pointed us in the right direction to get us back on track as we'd somehow gotten onto one of their sister resorts.
While we encountered a minor hiccup with our room arrangements, our butler, David, went above and beyond to resolve it swiftly and graciously. Their dedication to guest satisfaction turned what could have been a disappointing inconvenience into a display of top-tier service and showed that Majestic is willing to do right by us.
The dining experience was simply divine. Every meal was absolutely delicious, with an impressive variety of worldly flavors and dishes that left us wanting to stick to just one place out of the different options. Our personal favorites would have to be the buffets (for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!!), and the lunch buffet on the beach kept on winning out for us.
This was our first visit to the Dominican Republic, and it certainly won’t be our last. The Majestic Colonial has set the bar incredibly high, and we can't wait to return! Highly recommended!
