Great food and plenty of eating spots to choose from. The service is really good as well, everyone is super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would happily eat at any one of the on-site restaurants multiple times, favourite dish was probably slow cooked lamb but there so many nice dishes to enjoy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a resort with good restaurants

I always like to be honest and fair with reviews.
This was my second trip to an Ikos resort as I stated in Ikos Oceania in May and had an incredible experience.
While Dassia is more modern and looks amazing has amazing scenery and amenities there are some issues I had.
I went with my partner and we're not huge drinkers and like with Oceania we asked if there was any possibility of having Pepsi Max which they were both more than happy to accommodate which I thought was fantastic.
However, it became effort to ever get it to the room, this may seem minor but there's only so much citrus I can drink.
I also don't feel as "looked after" by the concierge as we did with the concierge at Oceania they were incredible so attentive and accommodating and extremely appreciated but also quite responsive.
I found the Dassia concierge to be quite robotic which I appreciate it's all done via templates etc but I think they could learn a lot from the Oceania team.
We waited over an hour on an occasion where we'd asked the concierge to put through room service, we ended up calling ourselves as we didn't know whether they'd done it. (They hadn't)
We had knocks on our door twice by staff when we had the "do not disturb" sign on.
There were several occasions where we had to wait quite some time for drinks orders to be taken in the lobby bar, the service around the pool and in the restaurants was great, mostly.
In the restaurants if you got a soft drink and not alcohol you'd hardly ever be offered a refill.
Sophia from the main pool at sea building was incredible.
I also had a bit of a strange issue with funky smelling pillows I spoke with someone and they said that it was down to the down feathers and that was the smell, which is true to a point it's a smell that's created when the pillows aren't dried properly and was quite unpleasant.
The housekeeping staff do a great job but they're also extremely loud and at one point either were arguing with one another or just being jovial but it was shouting nevertheless.
I feel that there is less food choice at Dassia than Oceania especially at flavors, it's also tough when you have a shellfish allergy and a general dislike of fish to always find food alternatives, something I didn't really find at Oceania.
That being said I certainly enjoyed my experience at Dassia but I do think it could have been better.

Our second time going to Ikos (first time at Dassia) and it was exactly what we expected. Just amazing. You pay a premium price and everything you get with it is beyond premium. We had a small hiccup at one of the restaurants and the public relations manager was very quick to rectify and ensure we felt looked after.
Me and my husband are very active people so we spent literally every day of our 10 day holiday down at the sports centre either in the gym, playing tennis, or both!
We cannot praise Fiovas Rouvas and the rest of his team enough. They made us feel truly welcome without it feeling forced like they had to only because of their job. They took the time out of they day to always just speak to us, have a laugh, and talk sport.
Cleanliness was spot on, food was just incredible, scenery perfect.
We booked Olivia for next year, however have sadly had to cancel due to finding out I am pregnant and due roughly the same time as the booking. But we will most definitely be back at another Ikos soon. Cannot recommend more!

Visit here if you want to fall seriously ill with food poisoning and then be treated like you’re a nuisance for asking to see the hotel doctor.
There was a big problem with people falling ill at this hotel and the attitude of Ikos towards this was unacceptable. They were not nice and did not care that due to their negligence, half of our holiday was ruined and thousands of pounds down the drain.
Other than that, the pools were nice, room was fine apart from the dodgy air con and the pool service varied depending on who was working that day. Would absolutely never return.

I’m genuinely disappointed with my recent stay at Ikos Dassia, which not only failed to meet expectations but left me with serious health issues. Having previously stayed here in 2018 without any problems, I was shocked at how drastically the experience has declined.
First and foremost, the hotel is heavily fragranced in every corner with a strong, artificial scent that is far from subtle. It’s overwhelming and pervasive, to the point where it triggered daily asthma attacks during my stay. This intense, synthetic aroma affected my respiratory health significantly, and I'm still dealing with the aftereffects.
It’s concerning that hotels don’t provide advance warnings about heavy fragrance use, especially when it can impact respiratory health. In an age of heightened allergy and health awareness, this lack of transparency is unacceptable—guests with respiratory sensitivities deserve the same level of consideration as those with food allergies.
Adding to the disappointment was the decline in food quality. The variety and flavors that I previously enjoyed (stayed in 2018)nwere nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, we had more bad meals than good ones, with none of the culinary standards that once defined Ikos Dassia.
I left feeling regretful, having suffered health impacts that no one should have to endure on holiday. I hope the hotel takes these issues seriously and makes necessary changes for future guests.
