We attended a wedding here. All I can say about this hotel is in direct comparison to the Leonardo Crystal Cove Hotel where we were staying.
The Constantinos the Great is great in size. Immense and impersonal. The food was on a par with the Leonardo.....does that mean that our hotel was as good as a 5* or that this 5* didn't do so good? That's a difficult question. The ground floor was immense and the area set aside for the ceremony was quite a walk away from where we enjoyed drinks at a reception bar. Main problem for me is that I am disabled and get down stairs to the only toilet up at the ceremony end of the hotel. So, each time that I needed the bathroom I had to walk all the way back to reception again! Despite the size of the hotel and how many people were there, I found it incredible that there was only one toilet for women and one for the men. Not only that but it smelled vile and certainly not clean.
The wedding was planned perfectly but I think that was to the credit of the planner and not the hotels.
I wouldn't be interested in staying at this hotel.

Let's start with the good things, the rooms are relatively large, there is a balcony and easy access to the sea and central places. Now for the bad things, we got a room at the beginning with a shared door, we told the reception and they said that there are cameras (an important detail) and that way they can see who goes in and out, but still We asked them to change our room, they did. The next day my husband lost his wallet and we asked security to see if he left the hotel with it or not, the reception said there was no camera, misleading a customer. In addition, a room above us left one day early in the morning (4-5) and the hotel staff did not think to consider all the other rooms around it (we were the room below it) so that at 5 in the morning the noises did not stop due to the cleaner cleaning the room and we were unable to fall asleep with such unbearable noise. The reception did nothing but stammer. A hotel I will never return to!!!! I have never had such a bad experience.

I have been to this hotel 3 times. Rooms are lovely and spotless. Food good. Location great. Staff excellent. I have 3 issues tho Room Towels - if you cant keep them white dont use white use blue/taupe or grey. Sun Lounger Pads grubby and some torn. Bathrooms - why renovate the rooms and leave the old bathrooms!!

Overall Experience
The hotel has a stylish lobby with great views, but I’d rate it 6/10. For a 5-star, it fell short of expectations, especially considering I’ve stayed in 200+ 4-5 star hotels over the years.
Location
Perfect location in Protaras, right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Public transport is a short walk away, and parking is free. Airport transfer was easy, and the area feels safe, though it can get noisy at night.
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Staff were professional and friendly, with our room ready early.
Room
Initially assigned a twin room, but we were moved after requesting a double. The room was dated, with poor cleanliness and worn linens. The fridge needed replacing (twice), and the safe had a daily fee. Amenities like the TV were minimal and in poor condition.
Bathroom
Poorly maintained with soap stains, sand in corners, and a barely working hairdryer. Towels weren’t replaced until requested.
Dining Options
Breakfast was decent, mostly English-style, but the dinner was disappointing. Meat was dry, and while the salads were good, the overall quality did not meet expectations.
Service
Friendly reception and spa staff, with a nice birthday gesture. However, housekeeping and maintenance were unresponsive, with slow resolution of issues.
Facilities
Didn’t use the pool or spa, but they looked poorly maintained. Gym equipment was outdated, and Wi-Fi was unreliable.
Value for Money
For a 5-star, the value was disappointing. It felt more like a 3-star hotel, especially considering the prime location can be found at more affordable places nearby.
Final Thoughts
The hotel did not meet its 5-star promise. With improvements to housekeeping, maintenance, and facilities, it could be much better. Wouldn’t recommend it in its current state.

Constantinos the great hotel,far away from being great! I would like to leave my opinion which may be useful to someone. I usually don't say my opinion especially bad comment but this time I think it is necessary. I should mention that the comments you see here as much as the positive ones but also as the negatives are true and represent the truth. As far as my own experience at this this hotel is concerned, I have the following: Starting first with the positives, I would like to point out that the location of the hotel is exceptional. There is direct access to many facilities and it is in city center, close to restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and etc. Based on this and reading the reviews about the location are interested to book otherwise no other good reason for staying at this hotel.Regarding the staff, I have to say that they were very friendly and available for pleasant service. As for the negatives on which my review is based, I will say the following. The hotel does not represent 5 stars at all, maybe 20 years ago but for today's data it is a maximum of 3! There is the modern element but in most of them the old one especially in the restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch needs an immediate upgrade and change of the furniture, it is very old. In terms of cleanliness it still needs work, there was not that smell of freshness. We had chosen the all inclusive package which was far from what we expected. And now to the most important part the food. The food was tasteless, not fresh and from the taste it must have been reused in many dishes. From the appearance of the dishes it was enough to understand that it doesn't taste good. From a 5-star hotel, you have the idea that at least the food will be excellent, but unfortunately we did not meet what we expected, with the result that we had to take food from outside because the choices that the buffet had were not only not enough, but the food was not eaten, very bad. The management of the hotel should start taking into account the comments of its customers, otherwise if it continues like this, it will also affect people who have expectations from what the hotel says it offers. In closing, I would like to say the following comparing price-quality-services is not worth spending your money at this hotel!
