Great value for the money. We had a good sized apartment room that was clean and comfortable. The location is near the beach and also a short walk into town and the other beaches. The pool was small but clean and relaxing. Very kind and helpful service. My one complaint is that coffee was not provided and when we bought our own we found that the coffee maker was nearly unusable. Still, I would return to this hotel and recommend to others.

Stayed here for a short weekend break and was pleasantly surprised.
Recently refurbished rooms are of a nice standard, and the hotel staff where very friendly and helpful.
The location was great for a
relaxing beach break only 50 steps down to Praia Maria luisa beach.
Would recommend to anyone who loves Olhas de agua like we do. You feel part of the local area as its set in a residential location. 5 to 10 minute walk from the centre.

Stayed here for 3 nights as a group of 3 girls. The location is great although a car or taxi is needed if you want to visit albufeira strip or old town. My room view was someone's caravan which i found the funny side of but id request a better view. The apartment is brand new as pictured, but unfortunately there are still ongoing works along the corridors. The apartment is well equipped but unfortunately the shower runs off a water tank so by the time the first person had washed their hair it turned luke warm, by the third - it was cold. The receptionist told us that the breakfast was full english, Bacon & Sausages. It is not, basic continental & when queried I was offered hot dogs. Maybe I would stay again as the room was nice but I would not pay peak season prices.

Very nice hotel right next to the beach, staff are attentive and cleaning staff are always friendly. Bar downstairs is very cheap as well as a pool table, tables, and a reading corner with TVs. Rooms are tidy and cleaned every day. The pool sometimes gets a little loud but nothing you can't handle. Open the windows for a nice breeze and the air conditioning on summer 30 is the coldest

We checked in late evening, everything seems smooth until we discovered the Air Con unit in our room (Room 21) was blowing out hot air even when dialed to the coldest temperature setting, it was better to switch off. Our young toddler got woken up due to the heat in one of the rooms. We had raised this with the nightshift receptionist, who I dragged over to test the AC to which he agreed a few times "yeah it is hot here". His solution was to bring a few fans to blow while he waits for his superiors to give him an answer about moving rooms. We didn't want to open any windows because we were bitten by flies and insects a few times already (and yes this was an issue exclusive to Clube Maria Luisa or just our room on the ground floor facing the car park. Not sure what bugs and how).
Our best outcome was to change to another room. But it became apparent that the hotel knew about this problem, at least in Room 21. So why offer it to us? The hotels weren't full, it's early off-season in May 2024? We have highlighted our concerns over health and safety reasons. A few times the receptionist said he "can only raise this with his superiors", we never got an answer, no explanation, no partial refund, nothing over whatsapp or email. Even now, I threatened them to give me a partial refund after a week for this inconvenience, still nothing. Well this review is a follow-up of their automated email, they asked for a one so here's a genuine account.
Generally the place is ok. I didn't realise it was only a 3-star hotel until my partner pointed it out to me. As far as 3-star hotels go, it's definitely not as plain as your travelodge/premier in and you would expect a degree of sloppiness, but it wasn't exactly low price neither. It was clean. The pool was nice. The brief encounters with the staff seems fair. My partner said the interiors are fancy, locations great, but it was spoiled by this technicality.
The clue in their multiple listings on Airbnb shows there might be an issue with reviews there, anyway, our overall 3 nights holiday in the Algarve was ruined only by this small detail which 'management' or receptionist of they had more power could have rectified quite easily - at least, give a response that I had requested. But I would appreciate a partial refund for the inconvenience.
Through reading older 1-2 star reviews i realised they tried this 'fan for AC' trick on other customers even in 2023, except they were given a much more pathetic fan. They are well prepared for failure it seems.
